When you use the ULP screen/backlight settings, does the watch open the AMOLED and show notifications if you tilt your wrist when receiving the notifcation? Or do you still have to tap the screen and/or use crown to see the notification?
No WearOS 4? That should probably be mentioned forst thing in a review. Slow/lack of WearOS updates is a deal-breaker. Will wait for a larger Pixel Watch to drop.
Pixel watch is already at wear OS 5 and we know how slow Mobvoi are when it's time to upgrade.....I cannot have a smart watch with no google assistant but I enjoy your video. ( Well done )
Nope it’s not sponsored, but the company did send me the watch to check out, so I’ve been honest about my experience. Like I mentioned the screen has some glare and isn’t bright enough on really sunny days, and the strap feels a bit flimsy. Even with those issues, I prefer this watch over the Pixel Watch because it's more rugged with a larger display and better battery life. It's actually one of the best Wear OS watches I’ve tried in a while, and I’m pretty impressed with it. The only real downside is that it doesn’t support Google Assistant anymore, which is a bummer.
Good luck with receiving any updates to the TicWatch Pro 5
Watches , glasses 🕶️ , rings , phones 📱, laps ... Bro is really mixing the tech perfectly. Keep grinding brotha 💜
Thank you dude 🙏🏻
@@MattRobb let's catch the bird of success 👊😉
Can i see the local tides on it?Many Thanks
Correction: Sandstone is the alternative color on the TicWatch Pro 5. The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro colors are Obsidian and Slate.
My mistake but they are similar looking
@@MattRobb Yes both are similar, but the correct information should be presented so there's no confusion between the two models.
How does it work when you're too far from phone for bluetooth connection? Is it able to show notifications (and notify about incoming call) via wi-fi?

For amoled you have to tap, unless you configure it to show the amoled on tilt-to-wake

This watch has Wear OS 3.5 and works way better than EVERY other Wear OS watch on the market. What will Wear OS 4 actually get you?
silly questions maybe: make and receive calls via bluetooth?
