Great review thank you. I appreciate being honest about the downsides, becuase they are very real. But the more I view watches, for the price this is a great one. I loved my Ticwatch 2, and really want some real GPS on my next watch so this is looking really nice
Mobvoi is not at fault for the missing Google Assistant. Fossil makers have explained that this is on Google, that has failed to create a support for chipsets other than the Samsung's Exynos platform. Without that other WearOS manufacturers are out of luck, they're locked out of the Google Assistant without any option to do anything from their side about it. The best Fossil has managed to do is to get Alexa into their Watch, but that's hardly the desired solution.
Valid points. Knowing that though, Mobvoi shouldn't (a) tout the watch to be a flagship when other brands obviously have GA, Google News, and other locked out functions and apps, and/or (b) be upfront in their announcements of the Pro 5 that those features won't be available. Either way you look at it, Mobvoi has been stuck between a rock and hard place.
To be fair, Fossil had Google Assistant before the 3.0 update and we got it again about 2 months ago. FYI I do not recommend fossil ever. Their customer support is among the worst I've experienced and the watch has been very buggy, although better since the update. Feels like Samsung is far ahead of everyone, but because of their battery life, offerings from others like garmin and mobvoi have their appeal despite having less smartwatch abilities.
Bought the Sandstone and really enjoying it. Wear OS 3.5 is surely more than good enough for most people regardless of future updates (or not)? I'm getting around 55 hours by the way
Well unfortunately Android users dont have a lot of Wear OS options. The Pixel Watch is garbage and the Galaxy Watch is loaded with proprietary bloatware from Samsung. Those are pretty much it. Pick your poison.
I have the Galaxy watch 5 Pro and right now I'm waiting for the new update 4.0 or something like that the new one UI is coming out soon so the Galaxy watch 5 Pro have a partnership with Google so everything that it comes to Android is easier for Samsung to add it to any other products, so I rather stay with the Galaxy watch 5 Pro and wait for the six and get that one as well 💪
I had a decision to make as my ticwatch pro 3 top button stopped working and was no longer under support but as I got it from them direct I was offered a discount if I wanted a new one. Looked around and just could not go for the others on the market the killer is battery life and 2 screens. Got it today and nice watch and is alot quicker then the last watch but I've never had issues with the 2 other watches I've had from them. I do perfer the older watch look with the 2 buttons but don't hate this one. Time will tell if it works well but for me glad I upgraded
@alexlopez2995, you're right. In order to get the latest WearOS, you have to choose between Google Pixel and Samsung. Over 75% of WearOS watches in the Android market still run on WearOS 2, which will completely lose support before the end of this year.
Hello great review. I have the Galaxy watch 5 pro and I'm thinking to replace it to this watch. What do you think? How did you manage to have 3 days battery from your Galaxy watch 5 pro?
Man that box is huge, very beefy. So far I've seen a few reaction videos about this watch and I am loving it even more. I have a Tic Watch E2 only because it was what I could afford at the time. But if I stay in the Android ecosystem I think I would stay with the Tic Watch. You do have more options than you ever could in the Apple ecosystem. My first smartwatch was the Pebble Time from back in 2017. I've had a few other smartwatches between then and now, and always kept going back to that trusty little Pebble but I am pretty with Mobvoi so far its hardware and price. i liked this video reaction that you did for this new watch.
@@gearupaaron I keep doing searches on oh the Tic Pro 5 is doing but it's pretty sparse. My 2020 watch just gave out on battery 3 weeks ago. Considering that model served me well for 3 YEARS, I'm going to stay confident with this brand. The LCD is what sells this watch model for me. As a visually impaired person, the large number display is PERFECT for my work environment as I hate having to take out my phone during work hours (especially meeting with others). A quick glance to check the time even while outdoors is of super convenience as an athletic coach. I missed out on the updated Pro3 model, so I'm super stoked on the Pro5 features/updates. I just placed my order before posting this comment. HERE IS MY TIP FOR FELLOW PURCHASERS! YES, the price will "appear" to be the same on Amazon at $350. However with added tax this price climbs to around $380. Now, I am a committed Prime member and make purchases frequently. I was heavily considering waiting till Prime Day to purchase but on the Mobvio website, tax is INCLUDED in the $350 overall price upon checkout in ADDITION to offering steep discounts ($100+ off) their Ticpods Pro+. I figured, why not? Overall, for BOTH my watch and Ticpods I paid $364. Ticpods are available on Amazon, but for $40 so had I purchased both items it would have been over $420 on Amazon.
I've read all the comments about their support, and I do think the watch looks awesome -- BUT I think that more people need to consider that we will be seeing more watches enter the market and this is just the beginning. I've never liked the look of the Pixel watch even though I'm a Pixel owner, keep waiting patiently for Wear OS device that will check all the boxes for me.
And judging from early spec leaks of the Pixel Watch 2, battery life is still going to suffer. 1.5 to 2 days with battery saver functions turned on, is what I read. Take it with a grain of salt, of course.
The TicWatch Pro 5 looks great thanks for the review superbly done! Love my E3 and Pro 3 GPS (they've been good to me), yet we are having a tough time forgetting what Mobvoi has failed to do and that is provide Wear OS 3.0 as promised. Even if it were to come later this year it's going to be so far behind the eight ball by then it won't be funny. So yeah no room for consideration when something is on my naughty list... Too bad as I would have jumped on it in a heartbeat.
I really want to buy this, especially in the new Sandstone color, just for battery life. But with GA only available on Pixel and Galaxy, and no future updates expected for any TicWatch it's hard to pull the trigger. An extra $130 for the Galaxy 6 Classic seems a better idea. Will see what the prices look like during the holiday but still leaning towards dropping Pixel completely and changing to Samsung watch and phone.
this brand is pretty great, damn I am still rocking my ticwatch pro 2 and happy about it, but quite impressed to see all the new features of the newest model.
the point is how is the battery disabling oxygen, that often is not needed. And sleep and health accuracy. For the rest best review on the internet. You become my top 3 reviewer now
Hi Giovanni, thanks for the props and your support! Are you asking how accurate SpO2 and sleep/health are? They're not dedicated fitness watches, so take the data with a grain of educated salt. After all, each watch brand has their own way of presenting the data, so it's somewhat challenging to compare. But when comparing things like HR, sleep, etc to manual measurements, the watch is pretty accurate.
@@gearupaaron my benchmark is the Gemini Venus SQ2 that tracks my sleep quite well. The SP02 observation instead is related to the fact that takes a lot of battery measuring oxygen in the blood, so if I would disable the battery would last much more I guess
I just picked up one from their website for £261 total bargain (wear os 3.5 is ok for me - not that fussed for 4 I've looked at the differences its very small)
I have 2 questions: 1. Can the watch control volume of media currently playing using the digital crown? Does it work well and easy to use? 2. Does the watch has camera viewfinder function? Does it work well?
Hi, thanks for watching and your Qs! The crown is fantastic (feels better than the Pixel Watch) and can be used for volume control. Like any other modern Wear OS watch, you just need to install the Google Camera app to use the watch as a viewfinder. Hope that helps!
well about the power efficiency of the processor thing. One, it did say up to 50%, not every task that it does will be 50% more power efficient. Two, it said it's more "efficient", so it can do 50% more work with the same amount of power, but that doesn't mean that the total power consumption will be much lower because it's more efficient, but also more powerful, so it might be taking up similar amounts of power to give a fluid user experience. And the display has a higher resolution as well, which also takes up a significant bit of power. I guess they did put a larger battery in but but I'm sure that the chip is using that power to give a better and faster user experience while also sticking to being more "efficient" than it's predecessor.
Great comment! Yes, I agree that the 50 percent is an "up to" clause, but the watch should be able to wring out a day or two more over the 3 Ultra. The screen size has increased, but its ppi (326) remains the same. Two things I didn't mention in the video are that (a) Wear OS 3 also claims to be more battery efficient, and (b) my Mobvoi contact admits that they're continuing to struggle to obtain the efficiency from this new watch.
I don't think we will need to wait until the end of the year. Mobvoi officially promised a WearOS 3 beta for their 3rd Gen watches. If we don't hear anything about the beta in Q3, then simply stay away from the Ticwatch Pro 5.
Excellent review and well described . I have a Samsung watch 5 pro and am thinking about ticwatch 5 pro. perhaps i should wait out and see how Mobvoi updates will follow and ins month or two when watch6 classic is released have a look at it as well.
For those of use who care about cardio measurements, is there watch that can provide detailed heart metrics and real-time/long-term tracking for arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats/heart rate? The literature for the Pro 5 says it can do some of this but what can it actually do?
This was not a comparison video - just plenty of referencing the differences (where necessary) with the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra, Samsung, Coros, and Pixel Watch (of which I mentioned the price, crown/control scheme, etc).
did you tell people the Ticwatch 3 pro was to get an update ..get this.. SEVEN months ago and its STILL not here... but I am sure they won't do this with Pro 5 when WareOS 4 comes out this YEAR
They're in different categories. The Garmin is focused on activity tracking with loads more battery life with its own OS. I prefer this category of watches, tbh... My favorite this year is the Coros Pace 3. 😁
Has Mobvoi acknowledged the lifecycle support problem and committed to solving it? I get the feeling they just keep launching new devices w/o support and the consumers are just hoping Mobvoi cares to address the support problem. Hope doesn't give me any confidence unless they acknowledge and commit to the problem.
Great question, Will. It looks like they've done better in getting updates out there for the Ticwatch 5 compared to previous gens. My rep admits that they're taking longer than necessary because optimizing the dual screen with Wear OS has been challenging.
It is a very good watch but not enough for me to replace my Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra. Your disappointing claim on improved battery life is harsh. Battery life was previously very good and better than any other Wear OS watch and now they've squeezed even more battery life out if it. Qualcomms 50% increase claim is a general claim and not specific to Mobvoi who's co-processor and dual screen is already saving battery power. I think other Wear OS watches will benefit more from the new processor. Also peoples complaints about lack of Google Assistant and updates while fair are not Mobvoi's fault. It's the Google/Samsung monopoly and division of the Wear OS platform that's the problem. Google sort it out and be fair to other smartwatch makers.
I've has two the original E ans The pro 3, I wont support this company anymore on false promises of OS updates. Waiting on Pixel watch 2 or maybe I'll get a galaxy.
Hi, could you tell that has it dual frequency GPS (L1+L5)? Or is it just in the chipset but they don't use it. And can you tell the battery life when it is used for all day hiking with GPS tracking?
Great questions! Yes, the 5 does dual-frequency (aka multi-band). I haven't tested a full day of hiking yet, but based on hourly consumption it should easily handle it.
Aaron, good morning. I know that you are a busy man. But I have watched your videos and you strike me as one of the more decent and genuine reviewers on RUclips. I know that as with everyone else you are looking to get subscribers, and I respect that. I do, however, need to ask, and please answer honestly, I am big on the vibration of a watch being strong. Point blank, is the vibration motor strong to the point where you actually feel it? Won't miss a notification? Practically everyone that reviews this watch NEVER comments on this small but for me significant part. Thank you.
Did I miss talking about haptics? Sorry about that. Well, for me, the vibrator motor (which is variable) is strong enough for me even at medium strength. Appreciate you watching this! 👍
@@gearupaaron Aaron, it appears that you are saying that an update has been provided. When watching earlier reviews, people were saying that there was only one setting. You are stating that you have it at "medium" strength. That sounds to me that there is a low, med, and high setting. I hope that is correct because then it makes the decision that much easier for me to purchase the smartwatch. It appears to be a decent unit even though the biggest issue is no updates.
Sad see a good watch without update. My ticwatch 3 pro stopped with wear os 2.42 and security patch October 2021. I don't understand with snapdragon 4100.
im stuck on what watch to get, i have a Samsun Galaxy First Gen smart watch, but i want to upgrade, im currently, stuck between, this one, Amazfit GTR4 and the Garmin Venu 2, do you have a suggestion? thanks
@@gearupaaron mainly smart watch stuff, walking, so step counting, hr monitoring, probably sleep tracking as well, but I really want a good battery, hence why i am avoiding the newer samsungs. Thank you for the reply btw :)
The support issue has to do more with Google not really providing oems and Qualcomm with support, while playing nice with Samsung, giving them first dibs.
Just got tickwatch based on my mate chigz review first smart watch cpuld of got Samsung as my son work's for 02 but swayed towards tickwatch, is it easy to put all my apps from phone to watch easy ????
Hello, how can I solve the problem with the Mobvoi TicWatch pro 5 disconnecting from the Mobvoi Health application? Without discounting the factory settings of the clock.
I like it too much when there is competition like that, it will force Samsung and Google to pay attention to the quality but especially to the pricing of their products 😈 But, on the other hand, this TicWatch Pro 5, despite all its qualities, has flaws that make it clearly never my choice, and not that of many other people. Its design is almost soulless, blend, it's me, or construction feel, seems and appears really cheap 🤔, no wireless charging (proprietary charger), only one color (that's really personal, I don't like black watches, so black smartwatches and I don't think I'm alone in this case), but especially TicWatch recent past in terms of software tracking, it's not very famous, and will be a dealbraker for many people. Ps: on the other hand in view of the performance of this TicWatch, the Pixel Watch 2 which is supposed to come out with the same processor looks promising
Thanks for sharing - all valid points. If Ticwatch can nail the updates this time, I believe it can at least gain back some clout. I also hope the Pixel Watch 2 is not another 1 or 1.5 day device.
Mobvoi already started off on the wrong foot…launching the ticwatch pro 5 without the google assistant but gave a promise to include it later….no thanks….I trust mobvoi as far as I can throw them.
As someone who got the fossil gen 6 which was promised wear os 3 early last year only to receive it in late October, DO NOT buy anything based on future promises. My watch was very buggy until the update, and then after the update it was quite smooth, but discovered there was no more google assisstant support, no way to monitor storage capacity and worse battery life. Waiting for updates particularly on smartwatches is so risky. The devices are small with limited hardware compared to smartphones and are not as popular and thus not the main focus of the devs. Highly recommend you buy a watch based on information on how it is right now and what reviewers are saying at the present. Anyway, good luck finding a watch!
I like your honesty it's like if you want to have a monster phone s23 Ultra if you want to have a monster watch Galaxy watch 5 Pro. Everything else is just trash
I water damaged my tic watch 3 pro and there 0 support they will give a 30 % discount on their official site. PS i was already getting ~30% discount on Amazon I switched to galaxy watch 4 classic
I had the Pro 3 GPS...no no no...from the get go, it was a nightmare! As it is now, the low energy display stopped working, and it had a hard time maintaining connection to my phone. I wont touch Mobvoi again, ever.
@@gearupaaron it was ok when new (except for numerous bugs early on). The LCD screen died only a few months back. I suspect water damage, even though I didn't swim with it (just ran with sweat exposure). When Mobvoi says "Swim Suitable", that should've been a warning 😂
Great video... congrats and thanks. I'm a TicWatch user (had the Pro 2020) and now the Pro 3 Ultra... waiting for my Pro 5 to arrive. It really looks like better then the 3 Ultra but honestly I'd prefer the two side buttons (one could be rotating) and they should have kept the 22mm bands (I have plenty of models here that I won't be able to use on the Pro 5) and the original band that came with the Pro 3 Ultra looks way better then the one that comes with the new device, that's sad.
You're totally right about the bands - my thoughts exactly. They made concessions to keep the bands lighter, but they just look "normal" now. Would love to hear what you think of the 5 when you get it. Thanks for watching, Marcos! Hope you come back for more :)
The pixel watch is a piece of junk loads of money wasted it's just sat there It lasts less than 24 hours without using it It closes the apps It looks nice Tick watch Pro 3 is a millennia ahead I have the pro 5 Enduro as well Tic watch 😎
I’m gonna do something I don’t normally but defend mobvoi on this one 🤔 Yes we could list all the features, promises updates there’s a lot That’s not gonna happen☝️ In reality doesn’t matter think about it the average person cares about time, notifications, HR, Blood oxygen, ecg, steps and occasional work out plus calls and texts that’s about it 👍 Plus finally it’s affordable with great battery Look example Apple Watch ultra $800 😳 yh you could get 3 TW5p for that price In short what’s better the watch doing its job or worrying about significantly updates Yh exactly the last think you would care updates just the watch function normally 😅I’m just saying don’t take it too serious Great video btw 👏
I hear ya - and thank you for watching! Totally valid points. For what you describe, most of the functions can be enjoyed without WatchOS or Wear OS, etc. I would say something like Amazfit cover that category really well (such as the GTH 4 and the upcoming GTH 5) - great build quality, fast, longer battery, fitness/health tracking and top-tier sensor suite, great app, really nice display, among others. And all that for $150 less. Therefore, it's for devices with Watch OS and Wear OS that claim higher functionality, support, and price that I place a higher bar for. I love my Ticwatches, but sometimes I feel like they have one foot still in their RTOS roots and the other trying to play with big boys.
Honestly, I think people just love to complain about first world problems. Also, Samsung is a cult much like Apple. The mere fact their watch is more functional with their phone just proves this. I have a Pixel phone, but determined the Pixel watch is a waste. I've had Ticwatch for several years and no complaints.
Will never buy anopther garbage Tic Watch. My Pro 3 GPS never got any updates past Oct 2021. No Wear OS 3 update as promised despite having the most capable processor on the market. Strava no longer supported due to missing Wear OS 3 update. Google Assistant broken, can't make calls or send messages. The power button has now failed and I've gone back to Samsung. Mobvoi will happily take your money and abandon it's customers. Worst smart watch company out there. They flood RUclipsrs with free product and paid endorsements to get you to buy their garbage product. My Galaxy Watch 5 works perfectly including Google Assistant and Strava.
Yeah, they really dropped the ball with 3 series support. Now that Wear OS 3 places most of the update responsibility back to Google, things might look up. I just received the May security update during the weekend, fwiw. Wear OS 4 is a whole other matter, though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Jeremy! 👍

Let's hope Mobvoi sticks to the plan!
You'll need the Samsung Galaxy 6 when it comes out, or the Apple Ultra.
Thanks Aaron. Nice review 👍
Thanks for watching this! 🤙
Does this really use 22mm straps I've seen in other reviews it uses 24mm straps and I have a ton of 20mm and 22mm straps.
What was Pixel Watch comparisons and mentions on this video but the title? And actually the content was telling about Samsung watch. lol
This was not a comparison video - just plenty of referencing the differences (where necessary) with the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra, Samsung, Coros, and Pixel Watch (of which I mentioned the price, crown/control scheme, etc).
Great review... too bad you didn't review my alternative, the GTR 4...
Thanks for watching! Maybe one day Amazfit will be willing to work with me again. 🤔
Good review, good outro
Appreciate you for checking this out, Alex! Be sure to bookmark GearUP and come back for more new stuff every week 😁
Whats the watch on your wrist?
The Coros Apex 2 🤙
If it had google assistant and support for external BT HRM sensors maybe. I think Google must be preventing this.
You're right - I think it might be exclusive to Fitbit devices. 😩
Yeah, I am 55, my eyes have that slight jitter and lethargy too. Don't be ridiculous, how quick do you need a screen to scroll? Lol
did you tell people the Ticwatch 3 pro was to get an update ..get this.. SEVEN months ago and its STILL not here... but I am sure they won't do this with Pro 5 when WareOS 4 comes out this YEAR
It's more like almost a year since the announcement that the Pro 3 and E3 would get Wear OS 3. Crazy, innit?
Any thoughts on this vs the Garmin Viboactive 5?
Great review !
Thanks for watching, Mario!
I have trust issues also. Won't be easy for me to buy another one from this brand
me too
I've has two the original E ans The pro 3, I wont support this company anymore on false promises of OS updates. Waiting on Pixel watch 2 or maybe I'll get a galaxy.
Totally understand your stance, Jeff. I love the hardware, but software is always the biggest question mark. I'm still holding out hope here.
Can you change the LCD battery saving screen for another LCD battery saving screen? Thanks.
No, not ATM. That would be a nice-to-have feature!
Thanx for a honest rewiew, and saying up onfront that mobvoi sucks at updates.
So far I've had one security update, so we'll see 😝 Thanks for watching this, Lennart!
What do you wear on the video (that watch)?
It's the Coros Apex 2 ruclips.net/video/Y2yU6h7aWRQ/видео.html
@@gearupaaron thank you so much! Got another one would ticwatch pro 5 go with my iphone 14 pro?
Any chance you can make a video showing how compatible it is with an iPhone?
At launch it's not compatible with iOS, unfortunately. Thanks for your question!
@lm7692 In Wear OS it is listed under Vibration Intensity - there's Normal, Long, and Double, which I treat as Low, Normal, Strong, fwiw.
GearUP with Aaron..Thanks Much !.......
Anytime, bro, anytime!
Sad see a good watch without update.
My ticwatch 3 pro stopped with wear os 2.42 and security patch October 2021. I don't understand with snapdragon 4100.
Well, if you've seen my update post, I just got the May security update 😁 Hopefully that's a positive sign.
im stuck on what watch to get, i have a Samsun Galaxy First Gen smart watch, but i want to upgrade, im currently, stuck between, this one, Amazfit GTR4 and the Garmin Venu 2, do you have a suggestion? thanks
What will you be primarily using the watch for? Work outs? Do you need true smartwatch abilities like that of Samsung and Pixels?...
Yes, it's rather frustrating really. 😤
All my smart watches have failed at the charging contacts. They wear down over time. It would be nice if wireless charging became more common.
Good point! With phones heading into Qi2 (a standardized MagSafe derivative), it would be great if watch makers followed suit.
Just got tickwatch based on my mate chigz review first smart watch cpuld of got Samsung as my son work's for 02 but swayed towards tickwatch, is it easy to put all my apps from phone to watch easy ????
With Wear OS 3, when you set up the watch it will ask if you want to install available apps on your phone to your watch, which is super convenient.
Hello, how can I solve the problem with the Mobvoi TicWatch pro 5 disconnecting from the Mobvoi Health application? Without discounting the factory settings of the clock.
I noticed that it's sometimes device dependent. Like my Pixel phones never had problems, while it happens every now and again on OnePlus, for example.
@@gearupaaron I understand you, thank you
Nice to recognise the familiar SG/MY accent!
Good ear! 😁 Where are you from?
does it come with a LTPO display?
It's OLED, but probably not advanced like LTPO. Not knowing what panel Mobvoi uses makes it difficult to determine for sure.
@@gearupaaron Thank you !!
@@乾淨核能 No prob!
I have trust issues with Android Wear/Wear OS period. Ive been burned too many times with watches that didnt get support in the past.
Totally understand, Google's wishy-washy approach to Wear OS development boggles my mind sometimes.
Does this watch do text to talk and have blood pressure and if it don't why even make them damn watch
Which watch do you currently have that does BP?
Can it detect snoring like samsung watch?
Great question, but unfortunately no. It has the capability - it just needs to be activated.
Good watch, but no updates, no communication possible, they almost never answer. I have the ticwatch 3 pro ultra. Latest update was 2021.
100% this
You have already received the update to Wear OS 3.5
Yes, finally!
Not so. I never sleep with a watch on and so it stays on the charger over night. Perfect!
I wish Samsung and others would incorporate nightly hrv values.
Indeed!
Bought the watch, touch screen unresponsive after I restarted the watch. Can anybody help?
Have you contacted customer support? Where did you buy it from?
@@gearupaaroncontacted the customer support, now awaiting their response. I bought it officially from mobvoi website.
I like it too much when there is competition like that, it will force Samsung and Google to pay attention to the quality but especially to the pricing of their products 😈
But, on the other hand, this TicWatch Pro 5, despite all its qualities, has flaws that make it clearly never my choice, and not that of many other people.
@@gearupaaron 🤞🏽
Well said!
I like your honesty it's like if you want to have a monster phone s23 Ultra if you want to have a monster watch Galaxy watch 5 Pro. Everything else is just trash
Thanks for watching and you honesty as well! 🤙
My Chinese oppo watch 2with dual processor SD 4100+ appolo can last 3 days without super battery saving gimmicks but still no wear os 😢😢
Does the Oppo use a skinned RTOS?
Update the old to 3.5.and.🎉
If they figure out how to support their watch every body will want one
Indeed. They have the desire and money - they just need an "in" with Google and to stay with it.
If this was the pixel watch 2 with all of Google's support itd be the best smart watch on the market.
Indeed!
Only 2nd hand Mobvoi watches every find away to my home.
I water damaged my tic watch 3 pro and there 0 support they will give a 30 % discount on their official site. PS i was already getting ~30% discount on Amazon
I switched to galaxy watch 4 classic
Rotating bezel ftw! 👍
@@gearupaaron 💪💪 yeaaah
There's Google Assistant now on the watch
Just needs always-listening voice activation and it'd be perfect 😁
i have small pulse so pixel watch is perfect for me :)
ticwatch dont have esim too
It's possible that an LTE Pro 5 model might show up soon. Thanks for watching, btw! 🤙
Wear Os beta 3.5 today 😊
Nice! What region are you in?
I would have bought this thing if it wasn't literally wider than my wrist. There is no chance of this even coming close to fitting me.
I agree... Size options would've really made this watch more appealing to a wider audience.
never trust this company until they make ticwatch pro 3 update to wear os 3
I had the Pro 3 GPS...no no no...from the get go, it was a nightmare! As it is now, the low energy display stopped working, and it had a hard time maintaining connection to my phone. I wont touch Mobvoi again, ever.
Bummer! Sounds like you had a defective unit since the beginning. Was it under warranty?
@@gearupaaron it was ok when new (except for numerous bugs early on). The LCD screen died only a few months back. I suspect water damage, even though I didn't swim with it (just ran with sweat exposure). When Mobvoi says "Swim Suitable", that should've been a warning 😂
Yeah, that kinda damage shouldn't have happened. That sucks 😔
No Google Assistant is a complete non-starter. And given mobvoi's history, you cannot expect it to ever arrive.
With Wear OS 3, it seems like GA is reserved for Samsung and Google nowadays. 👎
You text to talk on it
Great video... congrats and thanks.
The pixel watch is a piece of junk loads of money wasted it's just sat there
It lasts less than 24 hours without using it
It closes the apps
It looks nice
Tick watch Pro 3 is a millennia ahead
I have the pro 5 Enduro as well
Tic watch 😎
good
Thanks!
I’m gonna do something I don’t normally but defend mobvoi on this one 🤔
Yes we could list all the features, promises updates there’s a lot
That’s not gonna happen☝️
In reality doesn’t matter think about it the average person cares about time, notifications, HR, Blood oxygen, ecg, steps and occasional work out plus calls and texts that’s about it 👍
Plus finally it’s affordable with great battery
Look example Apple Watch ultra $800 😳 yh you could get 3 TW5p for that price
In short what’s better the watch doing its job or worrying about significantly updates
Yh exactly the last think you would care updates just the watch function normally
😅I’m just saying don’t take it too serious
Great video btw 👏
I've had Ticwatch for several years and no complaints.
mobvoi update liars
Am I hearing things, or are you West Indian? 🤣✊🏿
Malaysian, bro 😁 My best friends growing up were some Tamil-speaking chaps, so there was definitely some influence there, lol.
I've just sent my new pro 5 back. It was utter c.rap (esspecialy the BT). Shame as I got it as an upgrade to my old pro 3 gps which 'now' works ok.
Thanks for sharing... What was going on with the BT?
I love the Mobvoi Ticwatch. They really care about their customers and they always deliver Wear OS updates on time 🤡🤡♥️
Thats me sold.... Not buying one...
