I liked Salvation a lot. Way better that Rise of the Machines - easily the weakest in the franchise. Better even than Genysis, which I still liked. Salvation was on par (but different) to the Chronicle series. Otherwise I agree with the list in this clip.
Salvation was a different take and felt much more serious than T3 and Genesys. Christian Bale was also the best adult John Connor besides the one clip of future John in T2. Rebooting the franchise with terribly miscast actors who looked nothing like Kyle, Sarah or John was a huge mistake, but at least the next film will almost certainly be better with Cameron being involved.

I want to know what kind of crack 'Looper' was smoking that made them come to the conclusion than Genesis was better than Salvation!!! Genesis is a complete reboot of things we have already seen, if a few plot twists. The storyline is virtually the same! Salvation gave us what the T1 and T2 gave us glances of, the ACTUAL war between the humans and Terminators. It was alot better, it expanded on the terminator universe. Genesis didn't.... T1, T2, T3, and Salvation gave us a complete character arc of John Connor. Salvation told the story of John and Kyle before he was sent back in time, connecting Salvation to T1. That is why Salvation is better because it acknowledges the other 3 movies before it! Genesis doesn't have any source material to fall back on, because it's a complete reboot. Smh
T3 was not bad at all, far superior than salvation and genesis. People just did not like T3 because the ending seemed hopeless for mankind. People did not like Alien 3, but it was also a great movie, just with a sad ending that killed the protagonist.
one of the appeals of 1 & 2 is it was able to suspend your disbelief, even though it was fantasy. it pulled you into its storyline. genesys just felt so unreal, hollow. definitely BELOW salvation, which 1. previewed a different concept 2. had better acting 3. had tighter story and flow 4. had better character development. T3, on the other hand, had a B-movie feel to it. and it doesn't help that they had awful casting in stahl, the dislikable daines and inexperienced loken. agree with looper that it was the worst.

The only problem in it is that terminators throw people instead of killing them. Genysis is the worst no doubt. It looks like not funny comedy or parody.
'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines ' is terribly underrated. Great action sequences and a scary and intense performance from Kristanna Loken. The script wasn't that bad; I just thought that the three leads had poor chemistry with each other. 'Terminator: Salvation' is also underrated. The dialogue can get cheesy sometimes but the cast is SO good and has such great chemistry with each other. Terminator: Genysis' was not so bad script-wise but the two leads were weak. The James Cameron-involved ones were, of course, the best.
Terminator 3: Rise of the machines does what terminator 2 was trying to avoid, face judment day, in terminator 3 rise of the machines, they retake the race aganist time and fail, masquerading the end of the movie on purpose, none of the movie goers can believe that the world is really ending and that machines won, that's a success, the failure in the movie is not having it's own style in having more difference from T2. This is the opportunity that can make or break terminator dark fate, that is going in the same direction.
Salvation is the worst of the films, without question. Yes, far worse than Terminator 3 (which is honestly the most underrated film in the franchise). I agree with the top 3 choices of course. The Sarah Connor Chronicles was (like most Fox scifi was canned far before its time)
All the T were great as the overall story. T1- the best horror movie, in the genera of cat and mouse T2- best action movie T3- they show John as a old man at the end of the war but the T killed John so his wife sent down T to protect her and his husband. The T was sent down to kill his 2nd in command and in war that does make since. TS- showed us the war itself TG- ok ok that was bad but it show that the robots learned that they both would kill each other-- which is human instant.
