Predator is my single favorite movie of all time. No other film has so perfectly blended action, horror and sci-fi into one marvelous package (even Aliens in my opinion). The first two Terminator movies are definitely close behind it though.
Love Predator, but I gotta give it to T2 for my #1. That's the first movie I remember watching as a child and crying. Terminator 2 first movie to make me cry. And Shooting Star by Bad Company first song to make me cry 😂
We have a few people trying, but still no one can stand toe to toe with Arnie. Except Stallone, but I don't count him because he's been around and in direct competition with Arnie.
I can't give a full Top 10, but I can do 5: 5)Total Recall - great action and violence, but also a legitimately smart and clever science fiction movie. 4)Predator - A clever subversion of 80s action movies, where the big guns end up totally useless and Arnold has to go savage to beat the enemy. 3)The Terminator - excellent sci-fi slasher/thriller, it just totally works from beginning to end. 2)T2 - Does this one need an explanation? Honestly I can flip between this and T1, they're both that good. 1)Conan the Barbarian - just a very special movie to me personally. I think it's something of an artistic triumph.
Conan the Barbarian is exactly the kind of movie that we need more of today. The fact that we didnt get an entire Conan trilogy directed by Milius is one of the greatest missed opportunities in Hollywood history. How good is it? It is closer to being a true Star Wars movie than the Star Wars sequels.

Conan the Barbarian along with that soundtrack is bar far the best Arnold movie ever. He gets his moms head chopped off right in front of him ...cheebus. He destroys his enemies in return and I enjoy rewatching every minute of it.
Being a kid growing up in the 80s the only comedy with him I really enjoy is Twins. I would definitively put Running Man & the first Conan in my top 10. Predator would be #1 for me. 🍻

Commando has always been my favourite as it is peak Schwarzenegger at his finest. You know with The Terminator & Terminator 2 Arnold obtained the unique position topping lists for the best villain and the best hero in Empire film polls.

As always, great list, man. I would've flipped T2 and Predator, but otherwise, pretty much agree. The only one I would remove would be Twins, personally, just never been a big fan of that one. I'd replace that one with 'Running Man'. Also, my favorite Arnie movie of the past 20 years is 'Maggie'. I absolutely love his performance in that. Not Top 10 worthy, but my favorite from this century.

Couldn't agree more about Last Action Hero. Not only is it one of my all time favorite Arnold movies, its EASILY in my Top 100 favorite movies of all time. I was 12 years old when I saw this movie and it blew my mind. I didn't understand why no one else really liked it. Hey, maybe I was just ahead of my time.

Man, the thumbnail and intro alone are worth about ten likes. I was lucky enough to catch a screening of Predator / The Running Man at the Egyptian in Hollywood two years ago, featuring a rare Q&A from Arnold. I've seen a ton of Q&As but I don't think I've ever been in a room with someone with that much charisma before. It's very easy to see why the guy became a superstar (and my governor)! I totally agree about his comedic talents being underrated. He's just a natural. Another great thing I've heard about Arnold is that he's humble and knows his limitations as an actor and works really hard when he's on set. "Total Recall" has long been my favorite Arnold film, but "True Lies" would be my second. I agree: why the hell isn't "True Lies" on Blu-ray?!?
A great list of films - Arnie has some filmography! I would personally have 'The Running Man' in my top 10 due to the nostalgia I have for the film, Arnie's one liners and just how much fun the film is.
Joe Pesci was actually offered the role of the mailman in Jingle All the Way. That would've been awesome to have them work together. My guess is Joe Pesci didn't want to be in another Christmas movie after being in the first two Home Alone films so then the part went to Sinbad.

Man, the thumbnail and intro alone are worth about ten likes. I was lucky enough to catch a screening of Predator / The Running Man at the Egyptian in Hollywood two years ago, featuring a rare Q&A from Arnold. I've seen a ton of Q&As but I don't think I've ever been in a room with someone with that much charisma before. It's very easy to see why the guy became a superstar (and my governor)! I totally agree about his comedic talents being underrated. He's just a natural. Another great thing I've heard about Arnold is that he's humble and knows his limitations as an actor and works really hard when he's on set. "Total Recall" has long been my favorite Arnold film, but "True Lies" would be my second. I agree: why the hell isn't "True Lies" on Blu-ray?!?
A great list of films - Arnie has some filmography! I would personally have 'The Running Man' in my top 10 due to the nostalgia I have for the film, Arnie's one liners and just how much fun the film is.

Joe Pesci was actually offered the role of the mailman in Jingle All the Way. That would've been awesome to have them work together. My guess is Joe Pesci didn't want to be in another Christmas movie after being in the first two Home Alone films so then the part went to Sinbad.
To think we were robbed of an Arnold and Pesci collab during their prime is a tragedy in of itself.

I didn’t care for Last Action Hero. That was the beginning of the end of Arnold’s box office reign. Commando is definitely a classic. But when I watch it now I’m laughing the entire movie
