  • The M3/4 F8X is the best BBK upgrade for anyone who has an E8/9X M3 or Non-M chassis. The OEM brakes are horrible on any E series and the F8X BBK is a great way to upgrade without breaking the bank. These are proven to be extremely capable on the Nurburgring by Robert Kubica on the Apex Taxi ( • F1 Driver Robert Kubic... , • AFTERMATH of F1 Driver... ).

    E90 Pre LCI have the same rear hubs as all E92, E90 LCI have 8mm wider rear hubs, are those the same hubs your installing (From 135)? Also ever thought of using E60 M5 rear rotors without swapping hubs (M5 E60 have 61.8mm offset and cant quickly find what F80 rear offset is...)

    Nice brake upgrade kit. I have bought it already and waiting arrive here in Brazil. One question. How is the pedal breake feeling ? Same as the using a stock calipers or the pedal goes little bit down during the brake?

    • @SeemsLegitGarage
      @SeemsLegitGarage  Год назад

      Pedal is the same, I made sure to do out the math for piston area and rotor torque before designing the kit and the change is around 1%

      Upgrade your master cylinder to an E9X M3 and do stainless steel lines brake lines, that way you’ll have a way better pedal feeling

    Already purchased the kit just lazy to put the kit on the car but would like to know before I install it. will the e brake still work or will it need some sort of modification?

    • @SeemsLegitGarage
      @SeemsLegitGarage  Год назад

      Ebrake will still work like normal, you have to trim the shield a little but its not the actual e brake assembly.

    Hey, also a mechanic here. For this swap on the E92 you dont need anything for the front? I have these on my OWN e92 as well and the fronts are just slap on. For the rears, I found a guy that sells a simple spacer nut and bolt to allow rear to bolt onto stock e92 knuckle. What you will have to do is run E60 rear rotors so that it clears properly. E60 rotors just happen to be 345x24 in the rear so it works out.

    • @SeemsLegitGarage
      @SeemsLegitGarage  11 месяцев назад

      Yes to run the M3/4 380mm rotors you need our brackets, you can run smaller without but the M3/4 are so much better and have way better aftermarket options. There are other rear options but they didn't pass our safety requirements with offset bushing or other options. The purpose of these is to maximize brake cooling capacity and run the 380mm fronts and 370mm rears.

    • @BLGEasy4u
      @BLGEasy4u 11 месяцев назад

      @@SeemsLegitGarage You're telling me that those rears are 370? That caliper maxes out at a 345, as far as I was aware. Also, I do run the 380mm on oem knuckle perfectly fine in front.

    • @SeemsLegitGarage
      @SeemsLegitGarage  11 месяцев назад

      @@BLGEasy4u I can guarantee you do not run a 380 without an adapter. The OEM rear rotor for F80 calipers is 370. Please read our tech articles for more information on our website

      @@SeemsLegitGarage OEM for the F3x is 370… Whereas F8x is 380
