Nice! Love these brakes. I have a 435i that came with a ton of options, but didn’t have the brake package. I kept the from 340mm and just retrofitted the rears to the 345’s. Absolutely love the look. I had mine painted in BMW Manhattan metallic green. Shout out to VYS garage!
As Seems Legit now has the adapter piece for the front M brembo calipers, do you still recommend goign with the F8X front carrier's, or keep factory E9x front carriers?
He has the 4 calipers painted in gold, the original BMW gold comes in the CCBs and has 6 pistons, then yes, you need 19 inches. In the M2 CS for example they barely clear the 19s
@@jackse82 it's about showing the carbon and making it look classy at the same time. The whole trunk not matching looks kinda off to me similar to when people get gts hoods and don't paint match. Could easily paint match most of the trunk but leave the wing part of it exposed. Just my opinion though
@@Shingorani M3 has carbon roof, he now has carbon boot, if he gets a carbon bonnet then itll all flow together. Theres no point buying carbon for a road car without showing it off because you could just get fibreglass and paint it for the same price as Carbon, and barely a weight difference
@@jackse82his M3 has a sunroof….not the carbon fiber roof. I myself have a carbon csl trunk and had the back side facing rear completely painted and left the top part completely exposed to match my roof.
Not sure how much better the F8X are, but I purchased my Stoptech 6 piston front/4 piston rear BBK for 5k. I checked the prices in the description and to do this conversion it looks like it could surpass that total.
making me want to grab a set of 18s for my M3. they're so clean with the meaty tires. hopefully one day i can take my e90 to the nurburgring and on the autobahn
I ordered ECS 2 piece rotors all around, flushed brake fluid and swapped pads. I also fashioned functional brake duct hosing from my gt4 front lip. Immediately eliminated brake fade and feels amazing. Would suggest checking out for a video idea.
Why did you have to change the steering carriers on the fronts for? I thought you only had to get the caliper adapters for the front calipers. I’m looking to do this upgrade to my 08 335i
It’s only for the M3. 335i just uses adapters, same with E82 135i, barely any modification. But it’s different for the 92 M3 as it has different knuckles.
Why F series knuckle is required I run 370 mill rotor from F30 335i Performance package and m4 calipers which bolt on on my e92 335i? Is this in order to run the M3 rotor?
Excellent upgrade, Jonathan, one of the flaw of the E9X M cars were that the stock brakes were insufficient for either spirited driving touge or track use.🔥🔥🔥

Nice. I just painted mine a similar color!
Can’t wait for the BBS E88’s 😎

New brakes looks awesome!! 😍
Very nice install! What paint code is it ? Id like to paint match my brakes
Sick upgrade. Thinking about doing something like this for my 08 335i since I'm big single now.

I love your taste!!! The M3 looks clean 🧼
I'm surprised you didn't put the 'THIC' decal on the calipers!!
Are those 359s I heard the F8 BBK is too big for the 359s.
Nice man! Id recommend the AP BTCC Kit for the front and then F8X for the rear 👌🏽👌🏽
why not go with the turner tie rod ends as well to fully finish off the front end?
No sir, I Already replaced inner AND outers.
This M3 is superb, i want one along my M2. Still searching for a good 1 series to modify like you did.
I was told these brakes would need a 19inch wheel. I’m glad to see it works with 18x10!

19s or spacers
How did you mount the front wheel speed sensor? Did you use a f80 or e92 sensor?
Did you connect pad sensors on this setup? i just ordered these front and rear calipers for my 08 E92 m3 to do the similar
Do you plan on paint matching the rear trunk lid? Would look so much more complete with it paint matched!
But then what’s the point in buying carbon fibre.
Painting a carbon fibre part for a modified road car is sacrilege. Show off the carbon 👌🏻

This is awesome! Amazing brakes swap. May I ask where to find these rear calipers brackets(adapters) for F8X rear caliper swap? Thanks!
Seems legit makes them

Will the offset of the wheel be affected? :)
How are the wheels called? Are these the M513? Greetings from Germany.

For sure. Majority of people doing this conversion however, are doing so with used parts. Saving thousands that route

Niiice upgrade. To your knowledge do you have to do any upgrades on the master solenoid for this conversion on the non-M E9X vehicle?
You’ll need an m3 master
Why did you need the new hub? I’ve seen some people do it using their E9X hub and not changing it. Just curious.
I’m guessing your new wheels are same or similar to the ones on the 135?…… matching the gold calipers? 🤔

Do you have the link to the product? I still have the stock brakes and don’t plan on changing it until I have to change the pads and rotors again.
Looks great, OE ++, I have them on my E46 M3 👌🏾👌🏾.
Would they work with stock Competition Pack wheels 🤔
I have an e 90 may I install to my car ?
what wheels are those? id like to have a set for my e91

The grey ones? BMW Performance?

You can just use 2-4mm washers to centre the calliper. 🧐🤷🏼♂️
Why u change the hubs
No master cylinder upgrade required?
Nope. Not on e9x m
Love it!

nice color, do you mind share the color's code?
I’m not certain on code, I just showed my paint shop a ccb gold brake and said : match this!
Only missing the test drive!
After alignment!
I have a 318i bmw year 2000 I need to do a break and roto up grade like the bremboes set up what would u recommend.

Look for 135i front and rear calipers
135i is too much money. Just get 340mm f series front calipers and you will be good
