I simply love Robert Smith because he's soulful. He's truly a pleasure to listen to. It's the genuine genius and honest expression of his songs that are timeless. I just adore him. He's so refreshing still, especially now in a world full of madness, Robert's song's are so relevant. After listening to the cure for 40 year's now, I still love the band as much if not more than ever.

i use to be that kind of girl that wanted to be like the cure, always in black en heavy make-up and red lips...i see the difference now when i go to a concert of the cure, nobody is dressed like that anymore. like me i don't dress like that anymore. but is still love the cure. stil a diehard fan
I love Robert but I have to take slight issue with his take on fans that grew up with him and still looking the part..I grew up with the Cure and am fifty now and still wear eyeliner.. velvet etc.....Robert should realise that Goths..true Goths are for life...it was never a fad....here in Ireland we had 'Cureheads'....for people like that it was just a fad....Goths love the Cure but so many other bands also along with gothic literature and architechture and for the most part an alternative lifestyle....The cure are part of the Gothic narrative and thats a healthy thing.
