Lucky you! He seems to be one of the few rockstars who hasn't let fame go to his head and has remained down to earth after all the enormous success he has achieved. I admire him a lot for that.
He's so humble for a brilliant living legend. You can tell he loves and respects the beauty of Greece. The interviewer unlocked Robert to share a beautiful moment in time. Thank you for that one.
Beautiful interview...iam so hooked on Robert Smith. He is to die for. That chin dimple is memorizing and his British accent is lovely..thanks for the video interview!💚💗💙
Roberts so right about the cure fans being a type of person, and not an age group. I’m 22 here in 2020 and I’ve loved disintegration since at least 2012 when I was 14 or so
That’s so awesome ! I grew up on them a bit and my mother was a huge fan of them when she was a teen and now here I am a fan at age 15 and I absolutely adore them and Robert. Such an awesome, humble, and down to earth man :)
Very true! I'm 47 and have been a fan since my teen years and fortunate enough to have seen them live several times..and now my 17 year old son is a big fan 💙
Great man...great band, great show back in 2002...can't believe how much time flies... PS: you can hear the Dandy Warhols playing in the background, throughout Robert's interview..
I think we've all experienced the horror of a job interview - and here's Robert nailing the first question like a pro going for a job for Tourism Greece... then his shoulders hilariously slump a little. It reminds me of what Lol said about him - there's a lot of weight that he carries and he does it so professionally.
The set were playing that night it was like they made it for me.thank you so much Robert for the bottom of my heart.I ll never forget it.when they played the kiss I flew to the front rows I couldn't watch from behind. And what a surprise I found friends I haven't seen them since a decade.it was the show I always remember till this days.
Also, I realise with sadness in 2021 that The Cure are promising a 'darker and heavier' album this year. And... but... he was saying the same in this interview in 2002 prior to the self-titled. I actually really like the self-titled, but it's not what I expect from 'Live At The Moon' or whatever it becomes. I hear Roger agrees the 2021 album is dark. So that's good. But for the record, 'old' Cure fans don't seek 'darkness' from The Cure - there's just a wonderness (I just twigged 'wonderment') about their concept album ability. I just want it to be well written.
@Allow me since I left that comment, I have discovered exactly that. This mythical solo album is going to be "posthumous" he said! I don't even think I believe that :)
You are still searching for the wrong things!!!. You know what is REAL!!!!, and what is worth eternity!,so why are you doing what is only a temporary fix!!!!!!!!!
What a beautiful person. Robert plays for all the right reasons!
Robert Smith always gives such great interviews, I could listen to him all day.
he's so sweet. met him twice years ago, and he was very gracious and so very nice!

His hair blowin slowly in the wind...
So down to earth...
The 'forthcoming' album they discussed 'the cure', turned out to be exactly what robert described it to be!
Well he said their was some demos already

I hope 'wonderment' is never used by anyone. As a word, it's a flower of dicks.
Wish he would come to south africa

@Allow me Before this interview, one of the many times he's talked about it. It's around 2:55 here ruclips.net/video/qqgNNg9I8lE/видео.html
@Allow me Wow, I envy you! I actually do like that album quite a bit, plus the B-sides.
@Allow me i thought wms was too sunny and inconsistent
