+Yoshi Lazarus why you´ll never see them live? they´re touring in 2016 again! by the way, they´re live in vienna in october, and i have a spare ticket ;-)

You should see them live. They put on one of the best concerts of any band out there. They regularly do 3+ hour sets, with multiple encores.

Last big record. Loved them so much, spent thousands of hours listening to them.. wish was ok, but after that they became a shadow of them selves..
The Top, Faith, kiss me and Disintegration is highly loved albums.
When I heard first track on Wild Mood Swings, I was ecstatic, but next tracks was poor, albums to come didnt have the magic anymore..
    Great video, thanks

Wild Mood Swings had "This is A Lie" which in my personal opinion is one of the best Cure songs of written. The album also had a lot of other good tracks on it too. And Bloodflowers, while not a very creative album, was still very good in it's own right.

Every other The Cure album has had plenty of solid tracks, Wish and 4:13 Dream especially.

@Allow me BAD? There is no BAD! 90's grunge because the mainstream, and now ALL of those bands have at least 1 dead band member.
In 2019, The Cure finally got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They have 13 albums and only lost Andy Anderson. Many lineup changes, but Robert and Simon became the main writers.
And, when Simon had to sit out, HIS SON FILLED IN FOR HIS DAD! It was so adorable. I even spent 7 years in a Cure Tribute band here in Portland (I was Simonette, of course)! Now, we can't eat, play live music, or dance thanks to COVID!
We will never be clean again....

I hope I never understand why he hated Three Imaginary Boys after its release... which I suppose sort of maybe equates to the American release titled Boys Don't Cry. It is a fun and quirky treasure!

I think he was fine with boys don’t cry because he got to pick the track list. But on their UK release, they couldn’t pick the songs they wanted

This is a load of crap. Disintegration originally started out as a Robert Smith solo project, as he was tired of the direction the band was going in after Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and felt he needed a creative break from them. When Mad Bob finally came to his senses and realized the album would likely be a commercial flop due to the dour nature of the songs, he brought the band back into the process and from it came the hits, Pictures of You, Lovesong and Lullaby.
