I remember thinking I was old at 25, by the time I reached 40 I realised 25 was young and I thought 40 was old. Now I’m 51 I think 40 was young. Some things never change… So I’m very happy that Robert Smith never did quit.

It just occurred to me that I’ve spent so much listening to The Cure and reading about the members, but haven’t really seen much of what their actual personalities are like off stage other than a vague idea in my head, just because their interviews are so few and far between. On a side-note, it’s pretty interesting to hear him say he say here he might stop music altogether here, he seems like his mind is made up. I guess he had a change of heart, at least partially.
