Great video! Looks simple and saves me $200 to have it done with less than a $50 set of filters.
I am on a tight budget and I believe I can do this now & save myself $180. Thank you
great work. Not too much BS talk just straight to it.
Question if your truck won't start because of water in the filters how can I bled the air out of the system without starting it as you have recommended?
2006 Ford F-350 p2290 code .Already changed icp sensor but still doesn’t turn on till it cools down any suggestions thank you
richie rich Sorry I wish I could help you but I don't work on diesels.
Jimthecarguy Yet here you are making a video about working on a diesel. WTH?
My fuel pump seems to run excessively when I turn key on. Now the truck wont start. Also I can hear something else running in the engine area but I don't know what it is and I cant seem to track it down.
im assuming you've taken care of this. was the other thing you were hearing a clattering noise kindof like how diesel engines sound running? those are the injectors. if it wasn't that what was it?
Could be glow plugs
Wrong filters for the truck, you should only use Motorcraft/Racor filters on powerstroke engines.
looks like it was dunked in a oil pan
Wow that was a nasty filter.
Do you believe that the truck still ran? His only complaint was that the truck was a little sluggish. That is why it's a good idea to replace the filters on a regular basis.
