Kind of realistically including kicks into a boxing match puts the boxer at a serious disadvantage. Wing chun would definitely lose as its a joke, but many other martial arts could def succeed. Be more comparable in mma in which case most singular forms are at a huge disadvantage.
Actually it depends on the fighter, whoever has more experience, skill and reaction will have more advantage to win a fight. Chinese fighting styles are focused on the middle line of the body, which is really painful after being hit. Plus, Chinese Kung Fu will have more advantages if it is allowed to use kick.

Subtitle was wrong. Ip man suggested Master Hung to attack the arms on the match where Master Hung died.
And to think that compared to the other boxers in the franchise, Twister is just a brute who got a chronically ill past-his-prime first oponent to beat senseless and needed to hinder the second one and cheat to have a chance that ultimately failed.
BTW, Don't get me wrong. Twister still is a very dangerous opponent to anyone (I bet he can knock me the f-out with one of his softer punches). Even in a fair fight against other fighters from the films he can offer a good tussle, but the only way he has a chance to win against the top ones is if it's on his ring and with his judges, and even then Mike would probably KO him on the first rounds.
Nah, he just spoiled rotten brat in sport, never know the dark world yet

It was impossible to beat Master Hung. It happened possible because only he was too old and remained not so healthy like he was before❤.
yes you are right bro
His Rage & Anger is the reason why he lost
He let it take over and throw a fit, If he focused his mind. He'd probably beat the life of Ip man.

Like it or not, in the real world, the boxer will win the fight.
Nah, it depends on the practitioner but if they’re at the same skill level and they have equal strength, speed, BIQ, reflexes, weight, height and experience then the boxer is more likely to win.
Actually, no. Thing with boxers is that they are not taught to protect their legs properly. We've seen this actually on several occasions when boxers would lose against martial arts practitioners that are taught to target legs. That's why MMA guys practice several disciplines

Loved how all subtitles at the bicep hitting scene 7:02 says go for his mid-ribs. Like the camera's obviously zooming in on his biceps not the ribs. But even on Netflix the subtitles says ribs

This battle somehow reminds me of Katakuri vs Luffy fight. Luffy was repeatedly pummeled by Katakuri to the ground, and then stood up again like Ipman.

This was such a well narrated fight.
But the thing is the judges were right.
It a boxing match so he should not of been kicking
What about when he punched ip after the round finished?
@@jayschannel9189 true you would get a warning for that maybe but kicking
It's just a no no in boxing
It's a match between 2 martial arts, not a boxing match. Ip Man has the right to use his technique of kicking. They were simply just afraid of losing the game. Because if it was a boxing match, they should have banned kickings from the start and Ip Man wouldn't have fought in Wing Chun.
hmm... you do know that there's a reason why he's allowed to kick in the first place right?😂 cos it's not a boxing match, it's a spar between 2 martial artists, just that it's in a boxing ring.
@MagicalGalaxies112 it's a boxing match. And they ban it
The only reason Ip Man was losing at first is because he forgot to roll up his sleeves.
In my opinion, any martial art can easily defeat boxing if it is implemented correctly.
😂😂😂
I loved so much Ip Man🥰😍💖❤️💯
