I've been playing the SC2 since the day it released. I'm not very good but I really enjoy it.
I decided to make a conceptual trailer for a 3rd game. Thanks to the various CGI artists out there, can't name them all - I've captured short films to use for this video.
StarCraft is a military science fiction media franchise created by Chris Metzen and James Phinney and owned by Blizzard Entertainment. The series, set in the beginning of the 26th century, centers on a galactic struggle for dominance among four species-the adaptable and mobile Terrans, the ever-evolving insectoid Zerg, the powerful and enigmatic Protoss, and the godlike Xel'Naga creator race-in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy known as the Koprulu Sector. The series debuted with the video game StarCraft in 1998. It has grown to include a number of other games as well as eight novelizations, two Amazing Stories articles, a board game, and other licensed merchandise such as collectible statues and toys.
Blizzard Entertainment began planning StarCraft in 1995 with a development team led by Metzen and Phinney. The game debuted at the 1996 Electronic Entertainment Expo and used a modified Warcraft II game engine. StarCraft also marked the creation of Blizzard Entertainment's film department; the game introduced high quality cinematics integral to the storyline of the series. Most of the original development team for StarCraft returned to work on the game's expansion pack, Brood War; that game's development began only shortly after StarCraft was released. In 2001, StarCraft: Ghost began development under Nihilistic Software. Unlike the previous real-time strategy games in the series, Ghost was to be a stealth-action game. After three years of development, work on the game was postponed in 2004. Development of a true RTS sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, began in 2003; the game was announced in May 2007 and was released in July 2010. StarCraft II continued with the StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm expansion, which was released in March 2013. The third and final StarCraft II installment, Legacy of the Void, was released in November 2015. In 2016, a single-player nine-mission pack, Nova Covert Ops, was released in form of DLC.
The original game and its expansion have been praised as one of the benchmark real-time strategy games of its time. The series has gathered a solid following around the world, particularly in South Korea, where professional players and teams participate in matches, earn sponsorships, and compete in televised matches. By June 2007, StarCraft and Brood War had sold nearly 10 million copies combined. StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty and its sequels obtained similar praise, and also sold very well. By the end of 2017, the franchise's lifetime revenue totaled over $1 billion.[5] In addition, the series was awarded a star on the Walk of Game in 2006, and holds four Guinness World Records in the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition of 2008.
On March 27, 2017, Blizzard announced StarCraft: Remastered, a remastered version of the original StarCraft, with the core updates being up-to-date graphics and revised dialogue and audio. As of 2017, the original StarCraft, its Brood War expansion, and StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty are free to download and play from Blizzard's website.

Legendary game, it’s been 14 years! I think Blitz should sell this game to someone who can make new expansion rather than having it locked deep underground.
New race concept:
Terrans and Protoss start to work together (at least a faction of both) but some of their artificial intelligence starts to take control of the nullifiers and some terran robotic technology.
So it would be a full mechanical race, the opposite of the zerg. Kind of a terminator's race but with Protoss and Terran technology combined. More like a decepticons race. I think it could be cool

This is so well made. Very satisfying to watch.
Let's recap. The stories that are done are: Mengsk, Raynor, Kerrigan, Overmind, Tassadar, Zeratul, Amon and Duran so we will never see them again. What we do have are: Valerian, Horner, Artanis, Alarak, Zagara, Niadra, Mobius Remnents, Nova, Umojan protectorat, Kel-Morian Kombine, Stukov, and the one I'm looking forward to the most the UED return stories. Well lots of potential to continue the series
I wouldn't call it Starcraft 3, I'd just make it a new starcraft game set in the future following new characters and stories, but with a few classic elements. We may have had a conclusion to many characters stories and the general xelnaga story, but the setting has a lot of potential.
Wars can brew again, the evil zerg can emerge again.
I'd say a good way to start is to have the UED show up again, but they are using a newly created brood of zerg, much like the classic zerg. They've engineered either a new celebrate or overmind like entity and are using it to tear down the korprulu sector before they are going to reveal themselves to save the day or just officially take over.
Bad protoss can show up again, other rogue forces, maybe telradim not loyal to Alarak. We can have a competing free zerg hive show up, maybe zagara or some new brood queen.

they can continue the story with other characters, it doesn't need to focus on Jim Raynor and Kerrigan all the time. If they did a follow up or spin off with different cast but set in the same universe that would be great
what are you saying? story of those two already ended in LoTV for sure. there is left mostly new characters, which debut was in SC2, Artanis excluded. only their stories can continue, but some already do it in the comics, books, or DLC campaigns. so maybe someday, if blizzard will openly return to the franchise.

I didn't understand anything, but well it looked interesting, I would vote for the return of Emperor Mengks more angry and ruthless than ever with the help of a band of fanatics from his former government and that they would find a gem from an unknown planet, at least if it was It is about a Sc3, another villain could be the son of Ammon formed by all the shadows of the void and with the expanded essence of his death in the void. Another last threat could be the Earth Union Directorate (DUT) with plans to destroy the Terrans and take over their technology for the prosperity of humanity above the Terrans. The last thing could be if it were the Son of Amon. He could assassinate Zagara, the queen of the Zergs, and have him take absolute control of the swarm for his ruthless goals.

А ещё есть намёки, что существовала раса до Зернов и протоссов, над которой работали Зел-нага.
А, и кстати, есть ещё Голос из Тени, который нашептал Стетману сделать меха-зергов, а в рассказах местами творится дичь, особенно среди протосских псиоников. А ещё Врата в пустоту открыты по-прежнему, а последняя Зел-нага Керриган от большей части силы отказалась, в то время как у КелМории и Умоджи к обессиленно у Доминиону претензии, где, кстати, голод.
Так что есть где разгуляться

In the first StarCraft, you can access opposing factions' technologies when playing as the protoss using the mind control from a dark archon. In the second StarCraft, you can access opposing factions' technologies if playing as the zerg. Both instances allows you to control terran, zerg and protoss armies at the same time. In StarCraft 3, it should be the terran that will be given the mind control abilities (unless if the developers are smarter, they would give all three races different abilities so that regardless of the faction you are playing as, you can still be able to take control of a combined terran, protoss and zerg armies)
There is no Game I want more than SC3 for real. I'd cry if it would be released and actually be really good.

If only. Also, they should add three “hybrid” factions: the existing Protos-Zerg, plus a faction of humans using Protos tech, and a faction of human strain Zerg that uses human tech.
Coop has already incorporated these ideas. Stukov is a Terran-Zerg hybrid while the other combinations are available in Nexus Coop mod - Niadra and Gestalt Zero.

They won't do that, starcraft is not just a cool universe with cool story but also a game with almos balanced game mechanics. Increasing the races means that more balance problems can accur. On the other hand the coop commander mod playing with that ideas, and the assets that were created for that mod are freely usable by modders. I have my own mod that uses those assets. It is not playable yet by the public. Currently I working on 5 races, protoss, terran, zerg, infested terran, primal zerg. But I planning to make them by factions too. for example Khalai, Nerazhim, Taldarim protoss. Different strains of zerg, mecha zerg, dominion, umojan and pirate(Mira Han or Alan Schazer faction) terrans.
@@teejay4034 Not everything must be made for multi. Custom races are cool even just for singleplayer campaigns and modes, as we can see in custom campaigns for SC2 and WC3.
I can see them adding at least a race. That's what they did with Warcraft 3 when they added to Elves and the Undead. But it is a difficult task when the game is already balanced with a sort of r-k selection. There is the possibility that they have more than one group that plays in a similar manner.

the whole thing needs a redesign. They trayed away from the dark aesthetic of the original to the goofy WoW Disney Bubbling look. Gotta bring back the rough edges and the metallic straight lines.

Zagara, Valerian and Artanis fighting off a Full on UED invasion, maybe toss in new sub factions of zergs and protoss that happened to migrate to the sector in the mix. Nah, with what Blizzard is now, SCIII will probably be an mmo microtransaction hell.
If this masterpiece ever become a realised series, the main characters should be the chosen one Zeratul and Blade Queen cuz Human race always needs a tons of resources, so they can make it as Terran's invasion on some Zergs and Predators planets. It could be very similar to OGame. We lived a whole life alongside SC 1 & 2 and WC 3 & Dota, so if they make it happend, it's gonna be a global success once again. ❤😁

this one is hybrid ravager, dude. he appeared throughout SC2. and yeah, there is already lots of new units, but well, mostly for multiplayer, you could even play as Primal Zerg fraction
What we need are new races to blow the doors open for story possibilities. The end of LOTV did say new life was beginning on formerly desolate worlds so that leaves a wide open gate to start from.

There isn't much to go on by except something new and the only thing that could be appreciated would be a distant future where the Protoss New Conclave and Terran Dominion had formed a federation and an alliance against the Terrans from Earth and Tal'Darim with the Zerg maybe being an issue as well or maybe being a reluctant ally. I don't see the Zerg playing much of a role unless it is between broods. There isn't much else that could occur without ruining what is established. I don't think this would be a three v. three, but rather a 2 and sometimes 3 v. 1 of each at a time, which also could be at war with each other or backstab each other when it is convenient. That could be fun, when you think about it. Even though the Terran Dominion (which has become a Democratic Federal Republic of Terran Worlds) have a rocky relationship with the Protoss New Conclave (Which is mostly just typical protoss, dark protoss and machine protoss blending their talents into one new cohesive entity), they seemingly get along better than any of the other factions. Yet at the end you have to ally everyone (except the Zerg if you choose not to) and you are just as likely to go full zerg with no Terrans or Protoss involved against the final enemy. You can also choose one of the other factions such as the Tal-Darim or the Earth Terrans and do the same. You can also break the alliance between the Terran Dominion and Protoss New Conclave although this isn't recommended and is the hardest campaign to the game.
I am just theorizing what could be done and could be interesting. The best prospect besides what I had said of a federation between the two established allies is to include two new species and several others as minor factions with something major as the big bad near the end. Again, it would have to be something new because there is nothing from the established lore that is left since God Kerrigan and company destroyed the enemy.
What species would be ideal? Mmm... they would have to be unique that is for certain, but you can look at various works of science fiction and pull things together like Sith + Klingon + Zenomorphs or something like that. That could be the main bad guys. They are similar to the Zerg in their ability to infest, but they rely on negative psionic energy and have a culture entirely centered on war, pillaging and using disruptors. Just have to make it good.
I think some civil war, some mad scientist, proper evolution and old grievances. The seed is there, all it just needs is some call backs to SC/SCII era and we are set. UED will return for sure and what about that infested Protoss ship? Tho NGL original SC+BW storyline was golden
@@virophage41 Yeah we could have a civil war, those who want to ally with the Humans on Earth and those who want to remain allies with the Protoss. Some sort of divide on those lines could happen.

чтобы в одном проекте, можно было бы играть в rts как с классическим видом от третьего лица так и с возможностью от первого лица, где можно было бы погружаться в атмосферу происходящего несопоставимо более сильно, чем это можно реализовать только от третьего лица в классическом исполнении.

It's not the blizzard who makes lousy games. It is us, the first generation kids to play the computer games who got fed up. Now that we all grew up and we no longer think that playing game with a computer is a cool thing, having SC3 D4 with much better graphic is not the concern.

In my opinion with enough effort sc3 is possible because nivara the zerg queen kerrigan made in the zerg campaign believes her sole purpose in life is to kill protoss but zagara was tasked by kerigan to not meddle in other people 's afairs and thus are mostly peaceful sorry is not actively invading people at the moment
Thus war could start in the midst of confussion
Protoss attacked by nivara
Thus attacking zagara for confussing the 2 and raynor who still had semi peacefull relations with zagara because of kerrigan's orders getting tangled up in the conflict
Alarack can also play a role because he is evil and was only seen as a "good guy" in sc2 because amond is dangerous and is threatening his plans of becoming the ruler of the tal'derim
There could also be a terran civil war because with mengsk dead many will flok to his son BUT the more milliteristc group that followed mengsk do not follow the same idioligy as the son thus groups like the mobius core and the ghost core and other factions might rebel because of the change of leadership that threatens their beliefs idioligy et cetra

Почему нельзя star craft, war craft и тд обновить, ради фанатов! А не ради грязных долларов, уже надоела американская жадность, засуньте американскую мечту в жопу, она никого счастливее не сделала!
