Back in the late 1970's I went to the Century Theatre on Winchester Blvd. in San Jose to see "The Outlaw Josie Wales" with my good friend. Sitting right in front of us, in an otherwise half empty theatre, was the entire band, Papa Doo Run Run. We all got a little rowdy everytime Clint Eastwood did his Clint Eastwood stuff and had a great time. When the movie was over they invited us for a late night snack at Bob's Big Boy next to the theatre. We had a blast! The band even picked up our tab for food! Great guys! Great times! Great memories! THANKS!
you know what is sooooo cool is when I was a kid they use to open up there garage door and play and all of us kids would gather infront of there driveway and listen and clap hoop n holler, man were those the days.. Cupertino California...
You guys HAVE to come to Arizona! (Saw a concert, in Sunnyvale, in the late '70's. Papa Doo Run Do Run.) There was a strange looking speaker thing, on stage, so I did some research. Don Leslie's weird looking speaker, hooked up to Lorenz Hammond's organ. I'm now, a BIG fan of the Leslie Speaker! steve
Great to see you guys again-even if it is only on RUclips. I have the fondest memories of all of the guys, especially Don+Mark From when you were with the great Jan+dean. Fabulous shows, fun meet+greets. Thanks from thr bottom of my heart
