One of the coolest songs in music history.
I just like the intro, it kinda calls me. it sounds like it deserves a whole song to the feeling or sense it has. Then the song turns into this thing you can imagine playing in a cowboy bar on some movir i just wanna play the start in loop and imagine what it could have been. Dont get me wrong the song is good but its like eating a well prepared fried fish but being the linda person that doesn’t enjoy eating that. I can tell its good and well made but its almost like a reflex. I cant help it, maybe when i get old i might like this genre tho

i don’t understand this at all lmfao you say the main riff is cowboy but not the first lick? that doesn’t make sense this has western written all over it that intro is about country sounding it gets a very simple blues scale and bluegrass-ish picking but then the the verse comes in and it has beach vibes or like you said a vietnam intro cliché kinda like fortunate son. idk maybe you smoke too much but it fits perfectly in the song and i don’t think it would sound good stand alone at all especially if you tried to switch the vibe to something else other than old school rock and roll. it has nothing to do with your age but everything to do with your taste in your music gotta expose them ears a lil bit mane
