waiting at Surgery after taking my brother Ron in.

Ron has been having weakness in one arm and then the other. They tracked it down to 4 Vertebrae in his neck that have been slowing pushing in to the nerve causing Paralysis. If left untreated he would lose the loss of his arms and legs. I spent 10 hours at the hospital waiting. His surgery was pretty fast for extensive amount of work being done. It took 1 hr and 40 minutes and was a complete success.

well he made it through the surgery he had a mess of bones spurs that were pressing against the nerve he ground those away before they fused the vertebrae. Recovery will take up to 9 weeks

Hopefully this surgery will get Ron up and going without pain or paralysis. Hoping for a speedy recovery for him.

He is in a lot of pain today but the surgeon had to remove a whole string of bone spurs the surgeon had to grind off those were causing the spine to shift and press against his nerves the x ray shows his spine no longer in an S shape but straight. It will take up to 9 weeks of recovery so don't expect to see him helping me with my truck.

Waiting for my brother Ron to get out of a 2 1/2 hour surgery he is getting 4 Vertebrae in his neck fused. They were starting to cause paralysis in his arms and if not operated on hos legs. His surgeon has done 2500 of these so he kind of knows what he is doing

Thanks he is out of surgery had four vertebrae in his neck fused. They were so bad his arms were going numb and his legs would be next to go without the surgery. The surgeon just called me the surgery went well. They are keeping him overnight
