  • Well that's the brakes. Well not all have one more left to go. My new brake shoes showed up so fixed up the rear hones the wheel cylinder cleaned the drum and got everything back together then dropped the rear and went to the front drivers side started and finished working on that one because it had not been tampered with. So cleaned it up greased the adjuster bolts cleaned the drum and cleaned the shoes and put it all back together.

We just keep plugging away. Ron took a video of me honing out the cylinder on the back brake. I was trying to think of how I could add it but he sent it to me on Facebook Messenger. Next put the drive axel in and its off to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see how fast the old Buggy will go.

Hey Lucky. Nice work. I am surprised that you generated enough heat with a propane torch to remove the hubs. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁

Yes it takes a couple tries with the propane torch the blue flame has to be directly on the flat of the screw but it worked on both front hubs. Started bleeding the brakes last night and got air out of the system and the brakes actually lock up and next I have to install the front drive shaft.

yes got all the screws out without drilling on both fronts . We were bleeding the brakes tonight after we finished the other front wheel no one had touched the fronts it was pretty obvious
