I keep seeing the above distinction drawn- between FULLY healed and returning to NORMAL activities- and I can't see what it amounts to, in practical terms. For example, to use my own case, 1-week post operation, being told by my doctor at the end of this Summer that I may now exercise (walk, lift weights, strike bag, shoot baskets, swing bat) would induce me to say to myself- 'Thank God; it's over'. Apparently, though, such optimism would be 9 months premature and, again I don't see why, as a practical assessment of the matter, it would be unwarranted. What more would be lacking in my recovery?
@@MrRen3905 i have undergone b/l Tkr0n 25 th may 2015 from most unethical doctor Manuj Wathwa in Max Hospital Mohali lndia, smith and conephew primary implant.neither surgery nor allignement is good.
@@arunseghal369 I've had hip replacement due to hip joint weardown caused by rheumatoid arthritis, my right leg got more or less 1 inch shorter and there was burning pain whenever I walk or put pressure on my right leg (i was on steroid {omnacortel or predmet i forgot} during that time but stopped now and not taking any kind of nsaid/painkiller or steroid and currently taking etacept injection) it's been about 7-8 years now, no big issues just slight pain sometimes. I'm pretty happy i did my hip replacement.

What's the chances of the prothesis loosening before adhering to the prothesis?
If you follow the support groups this seems to happen a lot and don’t trip and fall😢
Joint replacement is a failed treatment for arthritis and hence avoid totally. I am a victim.
Can you tell me more about You're experience please
