- You guys always ask where I shoot? Believe it or not, in my garage! I have been dialing in where my backdrops live for a month now but didn’t know how to tackle the remaining wall in the garage. Home Depot came to the rescue! I have partnered up with THD to give my garage a #cleansweep. I am showing you how I go about a DIY garage makeover - turning this wall full of stuff we didn’t need/know we had into a one stop shop for cleaning, organizing and a place to stay inspired with all my projects. Great looking transformation, you crushed it! But what had me was that huge bin of VHS tapes 😂😂😂😂. Had to check my calendar to make sure it was still 2018 and not 1988 😀
Haha right!? VHS tapes are gold for skaters. Paul was like “absolutely not” when I wanted to put them into our storage. Too much history haha.

"Boys will be boys" is used, most of the time, to excuse sexist behaviour, e.g. a boy pulling a girl's hair is just "boys being boys, they just play a bit rougher".
I had a similar problem with my mother and her boyfriend, who served time in the military. He had a bunch of friends who passed away. Being that, he also accumulated a lot of memorabilia from his fallen comrades. I suggested that he clean the place once, but gave me a look that I won’t forget.
Shortly thereafter, during a small stint at a reunion for fallen soldiers, I called for the services of Jux Los Angeles, a garage and attic cleaning / reorganization company, based in southern a California. My mother’s boyfriend wasn’t pleased with what I had done at first. As a week passed by since the renovation, much to his chagrin, he had to tell me that the place looked so different and that now, he has a place where he can honor his brothers and sisters; in his garage ( I made it extra special and hung up some uniforms his comrades wore on the garage walls…)

Fantastic work Rachel!Any Suggestions on how to turn a small room (15X20) into a proper work space. In my previous house, I had a room separately for computers and a separate room for my DIY. But now, I have only this room and it,s a mess right now. One side is my clothes, one side my computers , one wall with peg board, and a storage shelf on one side. The workbench has stayed in the center,and thats how it is. When I do wood working, its a total mess!

haha she's a machine! So much energy! I think she lives with her family and she also does this DIY thang for a living so she needs a lot of things for that! I'm moving more towards tiny living so I understand thinking it's a lot, but for her situation it's appropriate I think! She discarded and donated what was not useful to her and organized the rest!

We just bought our first home and new 2 car garage plus a work area + Display Sop For My Home Business, so we haven’t got any clutter but I would put all my Soaping, Candle & Body Product Ingredients throughout the 2 sides and the draws for my wrapping paper, sticky tapes, washi tapes, etc plus have those clip boards for ideas and orders to make and orders that iv done to be shipped, I’d have shipping boxes and spare item not needed on top of the other side, the only thing I would add is a seat tall enough for me to swivel and sit on at the bench and add a sink off to the side for rinsing all moulds, I’d have the paper towels and a sheplf for all my Essential oils, and Bottles of rubbing Alcohol and my sample pots with lil cello bags in an area tucked away and my sticker labels attached to a clip board. My theme colours are Fuchsia, Sparkly Silver & Teal in my workshop and divided by either a long see through curtain or homemade beaded curtain and on the other side of that would be my Display Shop that we are currently building is made from recycled vintage cupboards and recycled termite treated pine that’s going to be painted but in my display area I’m having 8 x 8 Cubed Shelving with those lights you press to turn off and on with reachable batteries and I plan to have 2x Those shelving blocks so 72 x 2 = 144 Cubed Shelves with a DIY Pom Pom mat I’m making from Pom poms and anti slip cloths + 2 chairs and a tiny table so Customers can come Look, Smell, Try and possibly buy but no obligation of course, nothing is over $7 and I have no competition in the area which is great, I do international shipping to Canada, Uk & Sth America - I’m Australia Based -
I’m happy to send you a mini haul pack you could open and do a video on including a price list with them converted to Your American Dollar To Help boost my business plus iv got a RUclips but shows 2 Unboxing Videos as I’m new to the RUclips uploading area and don’t know how to even add words on the screen or music...lol I only make MP goats milk soaps, Aloe Soaps, Shea butter Soaps & jelly soaps with hidden animal mainly for kids, I have just on 55 scents and 65 Candle / Soap moulds - I use Ecosoya Q210 Which is then only Wax that has been dermatology tested to be safe for all skin types but I add Exfoliants, Clays, Minerals, Carrier Oils, Fixed Oils, Butters etc to all my soaps - my bases are Stephenson Range No Lye, No Parabens, No Detergents, No SLES, No SLS - just goodness and great lather, iv got noting on my page except a few videos and scent list as iv just had it all organised I can set up my mini photo booth and take awesome pics of my products, I hold monthly Sales & fundraisers - everything is tested before bigger batches are made, iv own by business and its name for 5yrs now.
