I may have not agreed with some of the creative decisions towards the story but it still is undeniably one of the best games to release this generation love it or hate it that’s just a fact
I love that she said "not sexualized, or a damsel in distress, or the opposite." Because naughty dog didn't make Ellie, unrealistically perfect, or in distress all the time, but they didn't go out of their way to make her very masculine, or tough-girl. They just made her a human being, nothing political, or social justice about it. Hats off to naughty dog

In both The Last of Us, and in the Left Behind expansion, Ashley Johnson delivered one of the greatest performances in the history of the gaming industry. There is no way that this award wasn’t hers. She completely deserved it, and I can’t wait to play through and witness her performance in The Last of Us Part II alongside Troy Baker. It’ll be incredible.
