I forgot that even the hostage actor was unaware. Only Marlene was told to sing the scene, lol. Love it. The crew and Niel's reactions trying not to laugh in the background are priceless. Merle's voice is amazing. Great performance from all.

I at least thought that you could get a cut scene and the guy you kill says "Here's the guns we promised." and then you get said guns and shoot him. That way, at least they give you the guns and you still fight your way towards Ellie.

I had a game guide that said you can just barge past all three so that's what I did, but if I hadn't been spoiled for that I would have shot them too. One had a knife. I think most people assumed you HAD to shoot them all. Then some just wanted to.

Troy is a treasure. He's so insanely talented, the amount of insanely popular characters he's voiced is unmatched even by the king Nolan North.

Troy did do a facial for Joel, only it was altered significantly. At a few points in the game you can see 'Troys eyes' doing crazy expressions.

The eyes and the jawline do, that's my point. The rest was custom. You can see it at the end of the cutscene where he gives Ellie the rifle to cover him, and at the part where a Hunter tries to kill him by shoving his neck on sharp glass.
