As a huge fan of the last of us(my favorite game which both I've played and are they only games I've ever completed whith 100% completed whith many replays) and a huge lover of movies and TV shows that really push what it is to make someone compelled to the art they create and respect what they do to make that true, I absolutely agree with you.
"Decency and inclusivity" damn right! What a beautiful story told by many talented people but especially Nick and his 'partner in crime' Murray. The episode was a heart warming/wrenching story, and essentially movie in its own right and, was awarded as such; thankfully. Plus, Nick, with the help of a I humbly didn't expect to win written prompt, gave a humorous and fantastic acceptance speech.
Definitely look up any of his woodworking videos. And if you also wanna hear a very well spoken man who, much like Nick Offerman, puts thought into their responses, Werner Herzog.
I've just watched & listened to the speech for a third time. He deserved the award for that episode alongside Murray. What a difference it makes when you put some thought and planning into your words, as he obviously did. I love his clever use of phrase and double entendre. When he talks about the 'two-hander' the shocked reaction by the guy sitting behind Murray Bartlett, wearing glasses, is just hilarious, pulling his face and looking around. Nick Offerman delivers....
@@truenoae8689 Murray Bartlett is gay IRL, yes, but Nick Offerman is married to Megan Mullally, i.e. the woman who's having a good laugh with Murray about the kiss. That's why it's so funny :P
With a slight twist in the saying, I very much think when Nick speaks, people listen. Well done, Nick Offerman. This episode was deeply moving. So well written, directed, managed, and acted by all those involved.
Crazy to see Last Of Us with multiple nominations in 1 category.. it was by far a land slide.. but both of them eppisodes made me cry so it's understandable. And there really isn't much they can do that
Not gonna lie, it was so awkward how every time it was Bill & Frank the crowd was like "YEAHHHH *CLAPCLAPCLAP*" and then every other nomination it'd be silent or a few "oh yeah there's that"... At least act like it wasn't a slam dunk or something lol.
This episode of The Last of Us was arguably the most compelling, impactful, and visceral experiences I’ve had watching a piece of media
it was homo erotica plain and simple
🤢🤮
@@moappleseider1699 Sounds like you're a prissy little flower, grow up kid
@leoc67Damn you’re so cool. Cool dude 😎👍
Alright it was good but out of ALL media? There are some pretty important movies out there.
One of the best episodes of television ever. Im not even exaggerating.

They should have made a whole spinoff miniseries for Bill. Nick Offerman was just too good to only have him in a single episode.

That episode made me cry. It was brilliantly acted and a powerful love story. Well deserved award.
Well deserved! Nick is always so well spoken too, I could listen to a million acceptance speeches by him lol

Amazing that every single nominee came from just two shows.
Both from HBO too lol
Tammy 2 is in the crowd ! Watch out Ron !
That’s why his mustache is gone. From the friction.
hahhahaha omg @@Samst0n

Lol yes - that’s his wife! ^.^
LMAO!
Well spoken as always. There are few guys out there as earnest and well deserving of humble recognition than Nick Offerman. I’m happy for the guy.

Nick and Murray are just too cute. I wish they had tied and both got an emmy.
it's kinda ironic that the non-gay person of the two won the emmy for the role lol
I just watched the episode today and man it was beautiful.
That episode was a greatly written episode. It was about finding something so beautiful and precious in a dark world without hope.
Omg he kissed Frank too I'm dying. "Gorgeous Aussie Top-man"
Megan Mullally and Murray Bartlett laughing together afterwards is hilarious
Wait are the actors gay irl?

THE GIRTH FROM PERTH!!!

the fact that the last of us darlings got cheers and the rest were like "oh yeah claps claps claps" LMAO.
MY BOYSSSS
succession is great too and got many cheers, everyone in this category was outstanding
Class act, beautiful speech.
Beautiful speech. Loved seeing the men in this episode show vulnerability. In a sea of faux masculinity by a bunch of posers, refreshing to see.
💯
Such an amazing episode I watched it two times in a row and then again the next night.
This episode is a life changer...!!! I wish everyone gets to see this episode
I Wish Everyone Had That Real Love❤
lol Last of Us kinda dominated the category and Succession was like “yea we will pick up the rest”.
To hear him thank my favorite singer for the past 50 years melted my heart. So glad that even though she can no longer sing, the accolades continue.
Nick Offerman giggle needs to be my ringtone
Their episode is amazing ❤ I was bawling 😭😭😭
I never realized it before, but Nick is quite good looking
Holy crap what a speech
Well deserved. Every one of those "The Last Of Us" nominees was worth it.
I love how Megan was dressed to be comfortable!!

Not gonna lie, the performances in that show were incredible. Everyone could've been nominated.
that's good of you, cos everyone was thinking you might lie. thanks Tom
@@patricksouthern1 Eh, some moron will come along soon enough and tell me otherwise. Someone always does.
What an honor to meet Ernie Hudson.
Yay Nick 🎉
PERFECTION
It was a brilliant episode. Very well deserved to everyone apart of it.
Best. Speech. Ever.

Word. The actors who played Henry & Sam on TLOU were brilliant in their own right as well.
It annoys me this was his FIRST Emmy. Like how was the man not even nominated once for playing Ron "F***ing" Swanson.
He was too conservative in that show. He was also a prepper in this one but his orientation took him over the wall. Its hollywood logic.
I initially watched the whole Last Of Us BUT i would go back to rewatch nick offerman's episode it was just a cute love story very well made.
What a great speech
He deserves
Personajes que en sus propios capitulos me hicieron llorar con un nudo en la garganta.
8 Emmy for just one season, even TLOU didn't won best tv show but still dominated it
The look on Megan Mullally’s face when he won 🥹
Wow all the nominees are from two shows....phenomenal casting
Well deserved
Must have been hard to pick guest star actors just from Last of Us. Scott Shepherd was also great.
They could’ve picked better scenes but ok
Seems like there were only two drama series that year. Well deserved though.
honestly, pretty hard to decide between those two...
LOL 2023 basically had three great bottle episodes. 1x for Succession and 2x for Last of Us. All HBO. Hail to the bottle episodes!
Such a tough choice ...
But only gays should play gays right??? Amazing work and well deserved!!
He peaked in his 30 seconds on Deadwood season 1 episode 2 when tried to throw down on hickcock
