This is my first F1 game and my first time using a wheel. I've been practicing every night for about a week, 1-1.5 hours per night, doing time trials at Hungary. Man it is not easy. I turned off all assists and so far the best I can do is a 1.21. I can't imagine getting anywhere near some of the top times on the leaderboards. I'd be happy just getting a 1.19
I thought a wheel would make at least a second faster. It hasn't. I'm usually faster with the controller. I don't know why. Maybe in GT7 I'm slightly faster with the wheel.

The one thing I can never get right is A.l difficulty. I use the calculator and all the other tricks people post on YT. I wish they'd fix it so I can use one difficulty level for every race instead of being from 60 on one track to 90 on another.
I personally did that and started driving better because I was in a comfortable position. I had a buddy that tried it but reverted because they got used to the actual brake pedal.

Great tutorial thank you . I’ve just bought the game & thought wow this is great & the graphics are excellent but it’s gonna take time to learn . If it was easy then wot would be the point of buying it .

Speed comes with practice and experience, you'll be faster before you know it ;)

I'm lacking a steering wheel and pedals but I enjoy the game using a PS4 controller for now.
But if you can enjoy the game even more with a steering wheel, just get it. (If that’s financially possible)

Am I better off switching my brake pedal to the clutch with a logitech as I'm finding it very hard to press the brake to brake

Good tip for the TC
First rule, stop starting off with terrible habits like driving in T-Cam and with assist. Begin with cockpit cam and no assist, and do laps..simple!

My car always spins immediately after the red lights are off, why could that be? I don't seem to find an answer
If you're going full throttle immediately, that will spin you out, especially if Traction control is off or on medium

So traction control on medium or off?
Try it off first, if you have a lot of trouble, set it to medium

Im not sure how this game works, but I use a keyboard. I don’t really know where to start I don’t want to feel like I wasted my money 😭
Some of the fastest guys on Track Titan are using a keyboard so you can get there :)

F1 banned ABS long time ago. Turn it off. Bad recommendation from this video to leave it on.
It's a guide on how to best get started as a beginner :) If you want to focus on maximum realism, ABS off is definitely recommended.
