How does the front end respond, did it remove the diving under braking? Thanks for watching

@@rosyrosenblum9823 the problem is once you cam your bike you tend to outrun your suspension. So you know you gotta do it at some point and then if you’re gonna go big bore well then you gotta do it. Then you gotta start thinking about brakes rotors. I stopped at stage 2, both bikes. Progressive springs and chromed front end for the fatty

@@rosyrosenblum9823 The diving was removed. On the start up with my 114 stage to the bike drops about an eighth of an inch… A little more aggressive than the stock FXLRS does. It really helped me plant the patch 4 8 or 12 seconds out.. better suspension always makes you feel like you’re riding on rails. That said a month and a half ago and Uber driver wrecked me so I had to buy a new used bike picked up at 1:10 FLTR… It’s got legends front and rear and I really enjoy them.

Why didn’t you just lift the bike a bit on the jack instead of compressing the shocks ?

I did, it still wasn’t enough. Thanks for watching!

Racing shox on a Harley - get real !

I guess it depends on your application. For many of us who grew up on crotch rockets and then switched to Harley‘s later in life, we still like to rip around corners and have reasonable handling. The factory shocks on Harley’s are terrible, so why not get the best you can get if you’ve already spent $35,000 on a motorcycle. I get your point, and I’m not saying it’s for everyone, but for me it’s the first upgrade I do.

Clearly you have never ridden a Harley! Suspension is not just for racing it is more for handling and making a vehicle more comfortable and safer to ride. When you learn more come back and leave an educated response.

Is that directed to me? I’m confused

It was definitely worth it, front end much more compliant, It took the bounce out basically and no dive it will hold you compressed by probably a quarter to an eighth of an inch if you hold the front all the way to stopping then release. I feel much more balanced, and if you’re gonna do them, then do them both. I put 13s on the rear which was up from stock 12s.

Right on, I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m going to do with the front end. I mean who doesn’t want to swap the new upside down forks, but not really feeling the $5000 plus cost
