I had both, Öhlins and Wilbers, on my HD Road King.
    They are both perfect.
Wilbers is easier to handle, because when it it set, it's done.
Öhlins need adjustment if you run with luggage or with two persons. It offers you adjustment for compression and rebound, but you have to know what you are doing.
Wrong adjustment can leed to a bad, sometimes dangerous ride.
My first choice is Wilbers. Makes it easy for everybody.
    Regards from Austria.

Upgraded my 2020 CVO Street Glide with the Wilbers system after doing some research. The fact that the Wilbers are self levelling sold me on the suspension. Watching @MillionDollarBogan taking his Road King off road just reassured me that this is a great system and will last forever as I’m not taking my bike off road.

Back in the day (1970s) my XLCH was in the shop and I needed to go somewhere so a buddy with an Electra Glide gave me a lift. His Shovelhead had the old pogo-seat and I gotta tell you that was one smooth ride, even over the rutted, pot-holed long drive way to our destination. That was the best seat suspension I have ever experienced on a motorcycle.

Great review! I love the self leveling of the Wilbers on my Ultra. That is what sold me on them. My wife rides 50% of the time and the thought of having to make constant manual adjustments bugged me. I was looking at the Legend Air Ride before I found the Wilbers and for the same money, I was doing all 4 points and with the Legends was just the rear.

Recently installed front and rear on my 2020 CVO Ultra and I was pleasantly surprised right from the start of using them. Low speed cornering is better, feeling more secure to the road. High speed bumps really level out, with much less violent action the really major bumps I used to bottom out on. Even notice at stop signs, I used to clamp the break and feel the front shock dip about and 1-1/2" and with these maybe 1/8" dip. Seriously stronger more capable shocks. Anxious to get out on some much longer rides. (BTW, 6-3, 280#)

I have ridding approx 50k with Wilbers now... having them on my FLHRXS... going mostly long haul with quite some luggage and full saddlebags, tent etc... they are amazing, notably when going on curvy/winding roads, and at higher speed on the freeway.... side wind stability is fantastic, no wobbling... whatsoever... the only thing that sucks relates to the OEM tyres, being low profile for the "looks of a Special"... but that has nothing to do with any aftermarket based upgrading of the suspension... no matter what one would go for.... absolute recommendation!

Thanks for this video. This is going to help a lot of riders decide on their suspension. I have Legend Revo A shocks on mine that I purchase two years ago and coming from Progressive's top shocks feel that they were a big improvement over those. I am happy enough with the Legend's that I won't try to upgrade from here but I have people ask me all the time if they are the best and my answer has always been I don't know because I have not tried everything that's out there. Now I can just send them to this video. I have not done anything with the front yet but I might go with the Ohlin's on the front because the Legends for what you get don.t seem like a good value for the front. Again thank you.
