You really should try out riding. I've been doing it damn near over 20 some years, and it is the most fun you can have with your pants on. It's very therapeutic, too.
So glad to see you and Craig keep it in touch just like you said you would. Miss I really miss the shows that you guys did together just got so used to seeing you guys as friends doing stuff that sometimes was crazy but good.
Bikes and Beards, I’m glad you and Matt got together on this project. He reminds me of his Dad in so many ways it’s unbelievable. Both of them are as honest as the day is long, both of them genuine and genuinely good people to anyone they meet. Somehow they both seem like they’ve never met a strange, up at the old shop here in Southern Illinois Dale always gave folks a fair shake and would go out of his way to help you out if he saw that you were in a bind. Spent quite a few afternoons looking for oddball parts or just original parts that weren’t reproduced yet by quality companies. Their shop crew and sales department were phenomenal as well. Glad to see the Maggie Valley location worked out so well for the Walkslers. Matt is definitely keeping history relatable with his channel. It’s good to see that you guys caught on to the historical importance of some of these old bikes for your channel as well as your business. I understand that you must make a profit to stay above water but every once in a while getting neck deep in a project like this might broaden your understanding of where a lot of our hobby began. Sometimes the old bikes even as simple as they seem compared to the technology we’re used to will make us bang our heads against the wall to troubleshoot. The stroker shovelhead im working on now has been creating more grey hair in just the last week but they all do eventually. Anyway, hold your heads a little higher moving forward, you and your team have really accomplished something to be proud of to preserve another piece of history and to help educate your subscribers as well as just bringing us along for the ride. 👍
This is literally what the world needs more of. Just a bunch of guys riding old bikes and bro-ing out over vintages!!! War will be gone before you know it!
I just found you on RUclips. I’ve been riding for over 40 years. I love your videos, I love your humor. Most of all though, I get a great vibe from you and the people you know. It’s obvious that the love you. You’re a good guy my friend and you get what you give. You’re an inspiration for the men of today. 🙏☮️🇺🇸😎
A B&B upload on Friday again? Thank the Lord. Missed you guys since you went to the Volunteer state. Would be nice to see an update video on SRK too. Thanks for making my day!
Great to see the old girl back to her former glory and sounding sweet. No better feeling than bringing an old/neglected/forgotten thing back to use. Now it's time to get into the workshop myself and install the fork springs and valves I bought yesterday into my old Yammy XJ. Thanks for the content guys, very enjoyable.
I have done so many first starts on old cars and bikes after many years. It never ever gets old. That child like excitement is always there. I will never get tired of it. And I can tell these guys are the same. I love it.
Loved hearing it run. As a 82 year old man who rode one as a teenager. That was a army surplus that cost 125 dollar ended up trading it in on a brand new 1958 BSA Supper Rocket because the vibration so much less
Love the way Matt goes straight from getting it to fire, to sorting out the issues, rather than simply being amazed it started... guess it comes with doing so many builds
I watched Craig's video this morning before my run, got done with 7.5 miles and now finished this one. Great job, this bike turned out amazing. You also made me want to buy a BW200 even though I never had one before.
I lowered and did my own forward controls and shortened exhaust on my 05 sport v-rod that I bought from Shawn and totally Bad Boy'd it...maroon paint and grey frame...it is a looker! Thanks Shawn! Love this video...God Speed to you!
I was going to get a motorcycle, but my kids wanted a swimming pool in the backyard, but I have a brand spanking new helmet I can pretend with! LOL Love watching these videos!
I been in wheels through time. Looked at every bike there and loved it. Worked for a friend of Dale and Matt's at the transmission shop in Waynesville. Also worked weekends at Salty Dogs. Fun times. Good memories.
Praise God that He Allows us to enjoy our lives and He Loves us for it as We give Him Our Love and Kindness to one another! In Jesus Awesome Name. May you all be Blessed!

Beautiful Bike, Good to see you back Sean. Craig has been holding the fort. And kudos to Matt, What wealth of knowledge and a great guy. God bless you all. Stay safe, live to ride, ride to live.
Been to the maggie valley museum and its the best motorcycle museum ive been too. Ive been to a handful but every bike at wheels through time actually runs. Id reccomend it to anyone that likes history or bikes. Matt and formerly his father frequently give personal, nerdy, detailed tours to those that enjoy old bikes as much as they do. Rip dale.
I still love my Honda VTX 1800, but man there are so many insanely cool bikes out there. I would love to find a 40s 50s as a daily driver. So much more involved in the riding experience. Loving the channel and all the talent behind these builds.
My old neighbor bought a non running 1936 RLDR 45 in the late '50's and brought it home, hanging out of the trunk of his car with plans to fix it up. He said it had been used as a flat track racer. This story is from before I was born. He put it in the back of an old pickup and put it in his dad's barn. I saw it several times as a kid playing. Fast forward to the early 2000's. The old boy had passed away and had never fixed it up. His son accepted an offer from a HD dealer, who traded him a brand new Sportster for the old bike. That solo was missing on one cylinder, come to find out the rear cylinder had a hole in the piston and it would still run somewhat. That was the most nostalgia I ever felt in my life even with all the Harley I have owned and loved!
Great to see you back big fella, have watched all of the 3 videos on this bike that were dropped in the last few days & it's an awesome bike, congratulations Sean, Rj in Oz
I was born in 1974. I have had quite a few vehicles through the years that took regular gas. For a while after they stopped having regular (back then, regular was the leaded stuff and unleaded was unleaded) gas, we had to buy lead additive. My old Jeep took regular. I also had a Toyota pick-up that took regular, and my first bike, an old Honda Trail 70, also took regular gas.
I live in waynesville, nc, Wheels through time is a gift to all of us here in our town. We go there all the time. It's a passion and a life. I'm like a little kid in a candy store seeing every machine that they've put their time and life's into. Every one of them have a story. Can't wait to go back.
We (Vintage Moto USA) had the pleasure of meeting Matt today at the AMCA Southern Nationals and he was every bit as cool and courteous as he seems in the videos. The Shop and I are looking forward to being back at the museum in November!
Wow! What fantastic machines. Love to see them restored and raced like that. Good skills. I would love a bike like that!!!!! So lovely your attitude and that you gave Matt that bike 😊. May the sun shine upon you. Safe rides 👍🤜
When I look at this machine through my European eyes, the angles and contours appear so different, almost as if it is shortened, but as soon as Craig rode it away onto that track, I could identify the true lineage and purpose of shape, the way he sits so comfortably and it slides across the gravel tracks, in this age of technology, I love it that that the real men are still around showing us and teaching us to mould shape and form American Steel and Iron, Stunning that is all I can say, Big Greetings from little England
What a great video. When I was 14, back in 1955, I bought a 1942 civilian flat head "45". I had a lot of fun on that one as it was my first Harley. I started riding on Whizzer motor bikes when I was 8. I am 82 now, and ride a 99 Softail Custom. But I will always remember the fun I had on that old "45". The front brake cable was broken, and the spark advance cable was broken. So I had to remember to retard the spark by hand before I started it. Stopping on a hill was also exciting. I had to shift to low, hold the brake on with my right foot and balance the bike with my left. When the light changed, I had to raise my left foot to operate the clutch while taking my foot off the brake to put my right foot down. I did manage to do it all without killing the engine. But I was 14. When you are 14 you think you can do anything. LOL. Anyway, loved your video. It brought back lots of good memories. Wish I had kept mine.
I bought a 1985 BW200 brand new and had more fun on it than I thought I would. I put a 22 inch Turf Tamer in the rear and put on a bigger Mikuni carb that made it quite a bit faster and better revving. Too bad I sold it 33 years ago!
I’m a Canadian and back in the day I was I’m Maggie Valley visiting a friend, that friend introduced me to Dale. As a high end builder of homes Dale was interested in my thoughts about his upcoming construction project. I actually forget what his plans were but my memory was eclipsed by what was in the building we were walking past to get to the site. The Museum! Dale gave me his time and boy o boy did he give me his time, hours upon hours. My wife went back to the motel and every moment with Dale was an honor, I was riding a Buell at the time and Dale gave me some history lessons, in fact it was a historical overload, as you all know Dale was a legend and for me that long day was etched into my memory for eternity. I’m currently sailing around the world and watching this video on the open ocean, Starlink allows me to have internet worldwide. ❤️
I’ve been thinking about this bike lately wondering what the deal was! Worth the wait. So happy to see the boys back together. Hopefully we can make it happen a little more frequently?!
Sean and everyone else thank you for this video I was waiting for well I can't say years because I know you guys from 2022 but I can say DECADES, this is the perfect gift for my Birthday ;3
I have worked on engines from the teens to today. I've seen a number of leaded only engines and have put hardened valve seats in a few to convert them to run on unleaded.
Seeing this bike looking brand new gives me the James May Fizz, I love old bikes like this that are very close to original bicycles w/ a gas motor bolted on.... Its especially cool because today is my birthday so this is an awesome present. 😁❤❤
Guys, been wondering what ever happened to that bike! Thought yall gave up on it or secretly sold it. This is great. Oh yeah, 9:42 "I built that too" Priceless!
That rain cooling is why I like riding in the rain in Florida. When it rains in the summer here it never gets colder then 80 degrees and humidity stays high. The rain is always warm as well. This leaves me with the option of using a vented jacket with no shirt underneath and rain pants.
Craig is the backbone of all these builds. Nothing but respect to this man and his passion for his craft
They are an awesome team together.

I've never rode a bike in my life, but that machine right there is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and art.

The look on his face when he started the BW: Priceless ❤
There were some really good memories rushing through his mind at this moment
You can really see the emotion in Matt’s face when he started that BW up. What a cool moment to see
The passion from all the guys at Wheels through time is just amazing.
It really is
One of the most beautiful machines ever, great job to everyone involved in the restoration.

All 3 of you guys are humble and bring so much to these vlogs🛵🤘
Awesome video love seeing old bike's. Thanks for the entertainment. God bless you all.
Super cool seeing people actually riding and enjoying stuff and not just storing it
Excellent video thanks very much. It was great to hear good that old motor sounded as it came back to life again.
I had a 45 trike and rode the solo a little, I bought a solo years ago.
