Great video. I like that you did your reserch on most o the games.
Also verry happy to see my game Flea! at the number 4 spot :) there are 80 levels, at around 60 u unlock the dash too, seems like you may have just got there if u beet the swimming boss. You can unlock the dash early from the first screen if you go left and up, theres videos online to show how. Keep up the good work

Great video and reviews! Completely understand the rating for our game, Doodle World. Not every game is for everyone. Keep up the great work!

Seems like a gem of a cart Croooow. I'm sold on this now.
The variety of games and the platforms represented is uber cool.

Always like how you scored the games but even better seeing them ranked. This is a collection I’ve been unsure whether to get. I’m not a fan of cutesy NES games but there are a few that interest me

I’ve been waiting too. Great review. I like that you now rank the games on each cart. But did I miss you rating the cart as a whole? 🤔

I love the system, but I have a huge preference for the VS over the handheld, who still keeps a reason to exist even in the days of the VS.
"Uchusen" is a game who has no reason to be here, and now I understood that the guys at Blaze maybe are getting some sadistic fun from inserting at least one "poorly made game" inside almost every one of their collections. The only collection I own who hasn't any downside inside of it is the Gaelco Arcade 1: 6 REAL hidden gems! My favourite one among the whole set of Arcade Collections released until now.
For the "traditional" red cartridges, my favourite still is the Piko 1.

I’m finding Alien Cat way more challenging than Debtor. I got through Debtor quickly but Alien Cat is driving me nuts with the “twin” cats

I have been looking for one of these for awhile but I can't find one. I'm not really interested in buying it online but I guess I will have to. Do you know if they sell a different color Evercade? I'm not really feeling the red and white scheme. I have seen a purple one and I think it looks incredibly neat.
What surprises me is this collection Indy Heroes 1 does not interest me in the least accept the first Zelda type game. The second Indy collection is the real gem from what I here. That and the one with Tanglewood and Coffee Shop beat em' up game.

Question about Deadeus: I've put in several hours of gameplay and the game seems to offer up, basically, an hour of game play to setup the story and then multiple one-hour branches that lead to different endings. Maybe not even one hour branches, maybe 30 minutes. Like, I did a save state after about 80 minutes of gameplay. Now everytime I return to that save state, no matter which way I play the game, I get about another 30-60 minutes of gameplay through the various possible storylines and then a different ending. It's weird because I've never played, what comes across as an RPG of sorts, that has a bunch of short storylines packaged together like that. Has this been your experience? Or am I missing out on some sort of mechanic that is robbing me of gameplay?

@@CrowContinuum Thanks. I appreciate the confirmation. One of the criticisms I have of retro (and retro-styled games, like Deadeus), is their lack of instructions or explanation of gameplay. It's par for the course, I get it but there's definitely a few Evercade titles I've abandoned after a minute or two because they just seem unplayable (or at least requiring extended googling to figure them out).

There is a fourth game on this collection, accessible only if you have Team 17 cart inserted as well. This game is a port of the excellent Amiga version. I do not understand why they did not make this version the primary and keft most players with the terrible Genesis port.

I think you meant to post this on the Worm Collection video, but the Worms Collection was released over a year before the first computer collection, so at the time Blaze was only doing collections with games that could be done with console emulation which is why many of those classic Amiga games got the Genesis/Mega Drive ports instead on the Evercade. Also, the cart was released a few months before the Evercade VS and almost two years before The Team 17 collection, so there wouldn't have been any plans for the Amiga version of Worms until the release of the Team 17 Collection.
I'm well aware of all the hidden games on the Evercade and I may one day make a video on them, but I'd like to get caught up with the carts that are currently out first

Easily so far the best Cartridge on the Evercade.

UCHUSEN was the product of a game jam to my knowledge, it's not really a game, and personally I think it's an 9dd choice to include.

I enjoyed the collection but the replay value is very low. I had fun playing the collection but I only see replaying the games I haven't spent a lot of time on.

They have to do a lot better. Even before you mentioned that one game was made in a day, I had that feeling about almost all of them. They look too similar with bad graphics and little imagination. If this was 1986 or so it wouldn't be so bad but it's 2021! Also most of the other carts have old mediocre games released on other systems. I have 9 cartridges and am still trying to find a reason that i didn't waste my money.
