Good stuff, Crow. An interesting mix of games, for sure. Thanks for the video.

"An interesting mix" is a good way to put it.

Thanks for your effort on playing the games for these reviews. I got the cart, but Radical Bikers is the only one I've played any significant amount of time. Too many games and carts on the Evercade already.

Gotta admit Sword of Sodan is one of my guilty pleasures in life , it's so bad it's good .

I appreciate this video format! Even though it´s shorter than older videos you get your points through very well. Excellent work! Always fun to see your rankings too.
Surprised to hear about Punch King being so poor. The graphics are pretty impressive, but gameplay needs to be good in a Punch Out clone! This cart does not appeal to me, since I don´t care much for FPS games. Radical Bikers seems (and sounds!) pretty cool, but that alone does not justify a buy. Piko should have spiced this up with a better selection, like the amazing Gourmet Warriors.

Sword of Sodan was one of the few games I made it all of the way through on the Amiga. Not a horrible game. I'll have to give it a try again.

    Enjoyed the shorter format video.

Sounds like Punch King borrows more heavily from the original arcade versions of Punch-Out and not the console versions that actually improves the controls thanks to the NES's limitations. That's already not a good sign when the Arcade Archive re-releases of Punch-Out have proven that the originals have aged poorly because of this.
Speaking of Punch-Out related games, I know this is unrelated, but have you ever played the indie game Pato Box?

You sound a bit whiny regarding 40 Winks. It looks and plays like a 3D platformer in 1999. Back then games were barely beginning to use the capabilities of the Dual Shock, let alone the concept of moving the camera with the right stick. I play it on the Evercade EXP just fine.

Now I want to see a fighting game that really does use Power Swears.

I seem to like this cart more than most. Metal Mech is one of the worst games I've EVER played, but aside from that and Sodan, the rest are solid. Zero Tolerance in particular is oddly addictive for me.
Edit: Actually after you made some points and made me think about it, I really only like 4, _maybe_ 5 games out of 10. I'd still buy it again for Zero Tolerance. There's just something about that one...

Yeah, Zero Tolerance is way better than I was expecting it to be.

This one looks very mid all around. And 40 winks, a game I actually think is okay, has dual analog controls on the PSX for camera and movement, making it not worthwhile on evercade compared to PSX.
I think the only Piko collection I'd want is collection 1... which I can't even get anymore.
