oh man, what a nice surprise this is. I’m one of the guys who made that kitt app and it’s just great to see it working pretty good after such a long time. I’m not sure why there’s many bad reviews though. Being old as it is it probably doesn’t work properly in some circumstances. @@sagshan133 I think this is not available on android store now for reasons I don't know much about, I was in charge of the design and overall user experience so this should be asked to my engineering friends. Wow, you did the intro sequence amazingly 😁 Even down to the font and everything! You got the sort of 80's pastiche of all the little mannerisms like doing the cool "aw shucks" gesture of acknowledgment to some unseen person out of camera shot as you lean nonchalantly against the car while wearing your shades and giving the Hollywood smile 😄 Very well done!
I put the scanner sound to play through the Boombox while I summon it, that’s about it as far as KITT mods. What you did to yours looks incredible though! You ACTUALLY made the yoke look fun.
That is fecking awesome, as a fan of Knight rider as a kid this is awesome. And recently I was bemoaning the state of car manufacturing in 2022. A heart stopping nostalgic and creative video Perifractic. I didn't know KITT's scanner could be used to scan young ladies.Who programmed that mod? KITT in the programme could run on a variety of fuels and not just gasoline which might be hard to do in a Tesla. The ski mode and turbo boost might also be problematic. I suggest adding the KITT whine to the external sound emitters to add that touch of authentic audio. Perhaps on the internal screen ,identifying that BASIC listing that always appeared when it was processing information ad replicating it would be an interesting touch. Also do you remember the digital speedometer used to click as the car increased rapidly in speed? Now just get your leather jacket and cruise those highways.
Love this! It brought back fond memories of the 1980s and Knight Rider is one of them which is my favorite when I was 12 years old. Love the mods on the Tesla. It should be an option when buying one!
fantastic mods, Tesla def needs a "KITT" edition, Black with Tan Interior and the scanner ;) and KITT software that includes sound fonts for the car's sounds as well as KITT voice recognition and touch screen integration
Imagine if Tesla actually made a model three knight rider edition that they would have the basic black in the actual scanner bar integrated into the fiberglass of the front bumper of the car and it has a voice assistant with William Daniels on it that would be so cool

Always remove the negative terminal from a car battery first. That'll make it way less likely that you short something out.
The negative terminal was removed when there was the arc from shorting the positive to ground. Either the HV circuit did that or photoshopped.

@@RetroRecipes WOAH WOAH WOAH...... Is that Gozer in the passenger seat.... you`re married to Gozer how the heck did that happen lololol :):)
Another great video! For a second I was worried though that there weren’t going to be ee-oo sound effects while removing the kitt fx box's screws… 😂
Nevarrrrrrrrr!
Oh ye of little faith 😊
I have to admit this is a cool idea.
This was so cool. Terrific video all round.
I am going to create my own K.I.T.T!
Perifractic, again a really great and entertaining episode. I am great Knight Rider fan (and 80's scifi) too. Enjoyed every second of it. Thank you for your effort, sweat and pain you put into it. About the next upgrade: Try to get the "Plaid" :)
Elon are you listening?
@@RetroRecipes He says, the "Plaid" with "Turbo Pursuit mode" is on the way.
@@GeorgesChannel Exceeeeeeelent.
This came out quite well. I’m so tempted to do this. Also, I agree that you should de-chrome the car to get the full effect. I’m looking forward to watching the Atari joystick episode! Subscribed!
This is awesome; I just watched your video with Knight Rider Historians. Your Tesla KITT is awesome!!
Brilliant video!!!! Knight Rider is still one of my all time favourite tv shows!
