I'm old enough to remember watching this on British TV back in the 80s. KITT looks great 👍.

How's the a/c flow inside KITT? I plan to have a replica but only exterior finish of it. I would love to have a KITT dash, but since there's no a/c vents, that concerns me.
@@xXDeathPlayXx The A/C pump is removed to make room for a second alternator - so no A/C for me. But I know that dash’es with Air vent’s excist.

Awesome KITT car, Jacob! 👍🏻 Tell me, how difficult is it to drive with that gull wing, especially when you're making turns like the Tesla?
@@julianschecter I find it very easy, actually. The only real “new technique” to learn is how to use the turnlights in roundabouts…but as I say…”I feel like Michael Knight when I drive KITT. Even with a joystick as steering wheel, I would make it work😂.

Insurance is cheap here in Denmark (300 GBP ballpark), because the car is 35+ years old. Running costs vary depending on the cars condition. But usually something (besides oil) needs to be replaced every year. In KITTs first eight seasons I spend approximately 2.500 GBP per year. Add to this fuel and owners tax.
