Way late to say, yeah, hasn't changed. Musical theater is still largely about one type of 'young guy' role. And this song and role still stand out so brilliantly to me. This song has more power and energy than most I can imagine. I wish it was in my register, because I sing along to this constantly and won't ever get over it.
