- I said I wanted a blue door and a blue door it is. I love how the colors look now, with the yellow and the blue and the red roof and the white trims. It makes me so very happy!
It felt good to get those shelves up in the kitchen in real Scandinavian design. It's like a small part of my house is (almost) officially done.
Although the grass is still green and it looks almost "summer-y" outside, the autumn is here. Colder days are approaching so this was my last time working outside this year. I still have a firewood situation to address though, but no more painting or building.
Winter is coming.

Oh yes, absolutely! I did like the original yellow color in the kitchen, but the walls were so damaged that I had to repaint anyway. It will be a "boring" white for some time, until I figure out what to do with the rest of the house and the interior:) But this will never be a white/grey/beige home, that is certain! 💛
I really like your videos with your DIY home renovations and how you repurpose, refurbish pieces of furniture. Can you please do a video where you go room by room and show us the before and after your DIY, and other future plans you may have for your house. Thanks you.

It was lighter than expected indeed! But you are quite correct, it does work with the yellow, so I might just keep it that shade don't you think? The kitchen is really coming together, it makes me so-so excited!💛 The northern lights are all the time during winter, I really should film more of it!

What a difference that kitchen corner makes! And should you ever have troubles with it again, it's lacquer for the English captions, and a bugger to remove, no matter how you spell it 😬
It does, dosen't it! The lacquer (ty for the correction btw) got off, - I think, but it was a weird stickyness there from the very start. Maybe that's normal to happen to older furniture, I don't know 😅
