I practice dermatology, I know about this and I tell this to my patients but its extremely hard to give up wheat. Its in so many things. Wheat products can even be found in cola and hotdogs. Some restaurants put pancake batter in their omelettes. Also, I've found that most patients don't know much about wheat. When I asked one patient to give up wheat she said she would switch from wheat bread to white bread. The majority of my patients are simply unwilling to make a major change in their diet.

I have found spaghetti sauce and popcorn really contribute to an eczema flare. I've been taking probiotics 3 times daily. Really trying to heal my gut along with drinking aloe vera.
My eczema seems to be triggered by sugar. I also did a carnivore elimination diet before my eczema, that might have triggered it, lots of beef and eggs.
I'm Vegan and have been told by my GP that the reason why I have Eczema (on my Eyelids) is because of my Mother suffering from Asthma. What I notice is I get flare-ups if stressed. I buy Organic Food wherever possible and think of myself as having a healthy diet. Gentle Eye lotions soothe things short term but I'd love to cut to the core for the condition to then disappear.
Dairy definitely affects me as well as processed sandwich meats and sausages. I'm going to eliminate all above mentioned and rid myself of this 😊 And for those who have it, using the oil from the Calendula Flower stops the itch!! And you can put it on as often as needed, stops the itching amazingly
I am wondering if you are having a problem with protein digestion because it being dairy and processed meats, and if that is the case, then protein enzymes might help?
Thanks for the video. Thank you so much for offering the free course on your website and i will be checking that out. People who complain about the length of your video need to realize that it's important to understand the "whys". I will be trying urine therapy. I drank it daily for 2 days in combination of sitting in the sun exposing my eczema to the healing sun of vitamin D. Along with making my concoction of coconut oil, castor oil and Vicksburg vapor rub for the menthol that I read is good for it. I will remake with tea tree oil and camphor oil soon. I was using Trader Joe's Shea coconut oil but the chemicals in it didn't help. It's sad to give up some of my favorite foods but if that's what it takes I'm all in. Making my own almond milk. I'm thinking about fasting for 7 days too as I understand my old gut microbes will die and be replaced with healthier good ones. And when I am off the fast i will eat better, avoid certain foods and keep a food diary. God bless you 🙏

Hmmm. I thought alcohol would be on top of the list. I mean, I ate protein all my life but why it just happened when I was 32yo? Been 5 years now and once a year a major flare up occur, truly an agony. I quited my last 3 jobs because of this. We don't have 30 days paid leave like somewhere else. Sometimes I just want to die. Don't really know what to do. It takes a month or two to recover and become healthy enough to work. But I can only pray it won't happen again next year.
Omg…. I recently used bovine collagen powder for joint issues (frozen shoulder and arthritis) and then I started eating boiled eggs and peanuts etc now I’m suffering with a bad case of nummular eczema. I’m now back on a plant based diet.
My family has major salicylate allergies resulting in eczema. So far my brother has used Keto to control it and carnivore to make it 100% go away. I’m trying it too!
I will let you know which foods, after a week or so of my food journal. A few months ago, I developed dermititis on both my brow bones. It started on the right eye, but now on both and on my chin. I stopped wearing makeup, but that hasn't made a difference. Over the weekend I had a stomach bug that lasted 3 days. Honestly feel like I'm falling apart!
Hello Dr. Dasani, am prone to Eczema or other skin dermatitis conditions. My allergist said I should avoid crustaceans and other foods that cause the breakouts. You mentioned about leaky gut or foods that are not digested. I had bariatric surgery in 2014. Now my stomach is just the size of a banana. Is that a cause for these eczema, partially? Please enlighten! Thanks and God bless for your vlogs!
Me personally, I have a VERY unique situation. I've had eczema since 2012. I workout etc. I have the kind of body type where I have to watch my carbs but can have a fairly high fat count. But the problem is with that diet, when I drop the carbs my eczema flares up HORRIFICALLY. But if I go against my genetics and drop my fat and increase my carbs (oatmeal). Yes I hold a ton of water BUT because of the water retention. It hydrates my hands from the inside out and I NEVER have a breakout.. So I have a really unique situation. Should I go against my genetics and blood work and go high carb with oatmeal and not breakout or should I watch my carbs and keep breaking out?
Your body does not require carbohydrates, as misleading as the name may sound, to be hydrated. The oils from a high fat diet will keep your skill much more moisturized than water. rinse your hands in the sink with warm water. wait 15 minutes... they'll be dry. Rub your hands in a hand oil, then wait 15 minutes. point proven.
The Eczema Diet book by Karen Fischer helped get my eczema under control. I do best when I follow her suggestions. I am currently experimenting with lotions. Any suggestions?
"Spelt" bread. Hard to find outside of a health food store that carries specialty breads. Ezekiel breads can be found in the frozen section of Publix and Walmart, and are not made from flour, but from sprouts. Good flavor, a bit dry, but not too bad. It's hard to find rye bread that doesn't have wheat flour in it. Does rye have gluten? I have to go check.
I too try to avoid night shades and its by products (KETCHUP), milk & milk products, all citrus, black pepper, red pepper and by products ( cayanne), eggs, sugar and gluten (wheat). Also you might want to look up Histamine food for flare ups. Hoping this may help someone.🌝
im vegan and gluten messes me up. it's so hard to find gluten free options everywhere though. i feel like im better when i mainly eat rice and vegetables and tofu
I mean...you basically list most things I eat so it's not very helpful. Just saying don't eat anything except buckets of greens or small amounts of greens with supplements is not very useful advice. If you're going to say "cut out eggs and beef", give some better alternatives at the very least. If I followed this advice, I'd literally be consuming water, pasta and pills only...not exactly a riveting diet. I don't really eat many vegetables. For context, I'm 6'2, Male, 190lbs, and have had minor eczema since I was around 19 (I'm now 35). Of all the decades eczema has been around, it's fascinating to me we don't have an actual answer to what causes it.
yes, its a difficult issue. No you cannot eat all the things you love. But if you enjoy eating these problem causing foods then deal with the ezema. Besides, if you follow the doc's suggestions very strictly, you will eventually get used to it. I know I did it it helped so much . Now; an occasional treat is ok. AAdditionall, the pounds started falling off and I feel 100% better!!!

I have tried to figure out which foods bother me for years and have had no luck. How soon after eating would you notice problems? I do know stress is a trigger for sure and perhaps lack of exercise. I have been working on my gut biome for several months by using 2 products one of which is cow colostrum. That has helped a lot but recently I had a huge flare up. My eczema is usually confined to my right hand and recently that got really bad with lots of bad cracking. Then after applying triamcinalone liberally to my hand my whole body developed a raised rash which I have had for 6 days. I felt that it was a reaction to using the triamcinalone but perhaps that is wrong. I am considering trying your clinic. My ezcema was annoying occasionally and only located on my right hand but since november of 2023 my ezcema has been bad with regular flares and no time where it is completely gone.
Hi, I'm from Pakistan. Nice vid. Some people I know react to caffeine. Can it even cause hives? And they take cool milk (even diluted)as an antidote. Also beetroot slices in my sandwich helped with heartburn in pregnancy.

I was then able to eat many other vegetables + fruits again, which I previously had low tolerence, thinking I have recovered, I slowly introduce eggs, diary, & sourdough bread back into my life, but now I have a flare-up ! 😓

So this might sound ignorant so no beef ? Or you mean no red meats in a diet ? Just need clarification please. Just because I’ve been making my son organic meatballs to go with his spaghetti and would like to know if this is not smart to do since he has eczema flare up’s thanks
red meat, dairy, eggs, and refined gluten such as white bread can trigger eczema, so best to cut these foods out, i cut out meat, dairy and eggs and my eczema went, i’ve never had problems with refined gluten but a lot of ppl do, i think gluten intolerances and allergies tend to be genetic but i could be wrong whereas animal products are naturally inflammatory and dairy contains hormones too which can interfere with hormones in our bodies

No doctors i went to told me .. i had to suffer and live with it. then i came to this plant based diet .. i would love to eat some cheese or any kind of meat but i am the one who suffered for 16years and yes that made me strong enough to say a BIG NO to these carnivore diet. Why when healing from skin condition does the body push the Toxins through the skin making worse before it gets better?
Because it’s toxins coming out of the skin, temporarily causing damage as it comes out
That’s exactly what I’d like to know..
Liver overload may be a possible cause for this. Skin is a another pathway for toxins and allergens to exit, unfortunately inflammation occurs.
Being vegan is probably causing your eczema if you’re consuming a lot of grains.
I'll pray for you to get off that madness diet
Definitely specifically highly processed gluten \white bread and high amounts of sugar make my eczema worst
Maybe I am in denial, but it does not seem like dairy bothers me. My triggers for inflammation seem to be gluten, sugar, salt, and too much meat.
Longing out 4 bullet points into a video that is over 10 minutes long is everything that is wrong with youtube
Avoid sugar, grains, nightshades and any allergens - get tested for food sensitivities/ allergies. Read The Eczema Cure by Emily Bartlett
For me also to this list is citric acid made from black mold in all processed foods , don;t believe me look it up.
For me nothing stopped the itch until I changed my diet I used every cream every oil you just gotta get to the root of the problem
God bless you 🙏
Hi can you guide how to make stuff with menthol or camphor oil one you talking above need it for eczema plz

This is so informative! Thank you!
I've taken urticaria hypersensitivity benign ulcers I'm allergic to a lot of medications even painkillers 😢
After I tried all kind of things for more than a year I've healed my eczema drinking turmeric tea with few cardamon seeds and using celandine oil externally for 3-4 weeks. My diet were vegetables, eggs, yoghurt, nuts, fresh fruits like usual.
Any luck with this? Hope all is well

I’m getting a blood test done to see what allergies I have

Wat mij enorm hielp is het vermijden van volkorenbrood. Ik eet nu speltbrood. Witbrood triggert mijn eczeem.
How many milligrams of protease would I need if I'm eating an 11 oz steak?
I too try to avoid night shades and its by products (KETCHUP), milk & milk products, all citrus, black pepper, red pepper and by products ( cayanne), eggs, sugar and gluten (wheat). Also you might want to look up Histamine food for flare ups. Hoping this may help someone.🌝
Coffee = eczema with me
Sugar, stress, anxiety, corn, gluten.
im vegan and gluten messes me up. it's so hard to find gluten free options everywhere though. i feel like im better when i mainly eat rice and vegetables and tofu
Can the aloe Vera gel from the aloe plant be consumed directly as it is or do we need to dilute it? Please advise how to go about doing it.
Yes. You can juice the entire leaf minus the thorns
Exactly

Just had a recent shocking Blw of eczema Tropical dermatitis in the palms of my hand fingers and body it was really unbearable and went takin specialist which is slowly healing My Food Allergies are since a child acidity foods and Tropjcal Fruits such as Oranges clementins pineapple strawberries and sour apples if only just been near them state the flare and I have to just run away from them
I have tried to figure out which foods bother me for years and have had no luck.

I have for the past 1.5years avoid these 4 common food, it reversed the condition and became eczema-free. I was then able to eat many other vegetables + fruits again, which I previously had low tolerence, thinking I have recovered, I slowly introduce eggs, diary, & sourdough bread back into my life, but now I have a flare-up ! 😓

it can help avoiding foods high in salicylate, get water kefir for maximum gut performence, use tactics to avoid/kill, reduce bed mites.
Cheese, regular fat milk, & yeasty foods are culprit.

I literally cut caffeine, junkfoods and dairy, the itchiness somehow habe subsided... you just need to be patient...
Dealing with a Super bad flare up recently
Went to the Er during my bodybuilding comp because of it
Been testing and it seems so far drinking eggwhites doesn’t help my body (I was eating and drinking 16-20 eggs a day)
Gluten may cause eczema. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye...oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten. Hidden gluten may hurt.
what about alcohol
I think that's definitely a trigger for me
Just take Black Currant seed oil, not every person has same ancestral nutrition and the same microbiome, no need to cut out dairy and farm foods unless you have a long line of Veggy/Vegan ancestors.
after sufferring from eczema for 6 months, these are the recommendations I would suggest to eat and not to eat;
To not eat:
all the stuff that mentioned in the video (whey protein is the worst )
To eat:
1.) eat veggies but mostly cook with hot water not stream cooking
2)lentils
3.) food rich in health fats like salmon and so on
like if you do a lillte bit research you would know.
(****having a good sleep schedule and a strong mind to not let the negative thoughts consume you is the most impaotant thing because your body has its own healing mechanism. as long as you avoid the inflammatory foods your body is gonna take care of yourself for that you need to take care of your mind****)
Going to do a food fast try stay from gluten, wheat , dairy , and sugar. 24 hr to 48 see how the body reacts. It’s always the worse at nights can’t sleep something needs to be done
I avoid legumes, pumpkin seeds, cow's milk, gluten, nuts, peanuts, corn, paprica and all the above hidden in all processed foods.
I wonder if soy could be a culprit too cause they put that crap in everything!
What do you eat, plz share your diet
soy is one of the most intensively farmed crops, it gives me a two day migraine, and its in a lot of food, most commercial chocolate and icecreams in the form of soy lecithin hope that is a help@@ninjazmbeegrl396

@genius6084 :)
@genius6084 i wrote an essay but it somehow vanished.
so (at least try it man) this is the problem assuming that others do not know what they are talking about.
i tried every kind of diet for the last 16years of my life and yes animal products are very dangerous for humans. No doctors i went to told me .. i had to suffer and live with it. then i came to this plant based diet .. i would love to eat some cheese or any kind of meat but i am the one who suffered for 16years and yes that made me strong enough to say a BIG NO to these carnivore diet.
