    Probiotic Concepts
-The number of strains, or colony forming units, don’t typically matter
-The FREQUENCY of administration is the most important variable (aim for 2-4x daily)
-Yoghurt is a decent option for many people (yes, I realize it’s dairy), otherwise a probiotic capsule supplement. If you choose to go with yoghurt: try grass-fed A2, or fat-free/sugar-free Greek

I believe this works but it would take a large database to evaluate which probiotic was necessary for which ailment. For example, I had painful cracks on my fingers that often happened after I ate, yet the dermatologist insisted that food has no connection to eczema. That sounded ridiculous to me so I tried Probiotics 60 Billion CFUs with 20 strains by Terranic's and noticed that if I took one with dinner the cracking didn't happen as bad. So I started taking one before each meal and about a month later the cracks healed. I also wondered about the frequency being more important than the quantity, so sometimes I opened the capsule and sprinkled part of it on my food, which seemed to work fine.
But darn if I didn't have an allergic reaction to wheat one day and now I have the red itchy typical type of eczema on my hands. The 20 probiotic strains aren't helping but maybe I need a different blend now?
Does anyone know of a good probiotic to help with eczema after a wheat allergy?

Make sure to get a high quality product. Most store-bought probiotics have too low of microbe count (CFU). That is why some, like Dr. William Davis, recommend taking the proven strains of BioGaia Gastrus and making your own yogurt with it. The microbe count doubles every three hours while culturing.

1:54 I'm surprised you referenced that Cochrane article when the conclusion from it was:
"Evidence suggests that, compared with no probiotic, currently available probiotic strains probably make little or no difference in improving patient‐rated eczema symptoms. Probiotics may make little or no difference in QoL for people with eczema nor in investigator‐rated eczema severity score (combined with participant scoring for eczema symptoms of itch and sleep loss); for the latter, the observed effect was small and of uncertain clinical significance. Therefore, use of probiotics for the treatment of eczema is currently not evidence‐based."

L.Ruteri yogurt made at home works well for me. Nothing works completely, but it cuts the eczema in half. The only real cure I have found is to only eat meat, but I don't want to do that. It was the only time the eczema went away 100%. The probiotics help me digest and process vegetables at least partially.

If only eating meat is helping you keep eczema at bay, you could have Systemic Nickel Allergy Syndrome. That’s what I have. Meat, eggs, yogurt, potatoes are my primary foods now. Worth looking into. Good luck!
