@@kraokingxyz1397 my maxima has a cvt...I don't really like it. My alt is a v6 as well and it's a sleeper with the m/t. The maxima is pretty quick when in manual mode too but it's still limited with the cvt.
You absolutely can put a turbo in a maxima with a CVT. The only thing is the cvt won't hold over 400 hp. Anything over that and your taking a serious chance of blowing the trans.

I dont know. These things make like 245whp stock. 160whp bump off of a turbo VQ35? That's not bad truth be told. The tranny swap is what's pricey. You've gotta install an electric e brake too.

The 6 speed swaps in these cars is a PITA. Long gone are the days of swapping in a 5 speed from any junkyard manual Max.
That’s why you take it to someone who has experience with doing the swap.

Sure you can, if you like to keep replacing Transmissions all the Time.

You can run a trans cooler and use low boost turbo for now until you get the 6MT swap done
