Firstly apologies Alex, I haven’t really been following you much lately but this episode was a blast. Totally absorbed from the 1st scene to the last. Just you and Gareth, having a laugh on great looking bikes, takes me back to when you both were engine swapping on your front driveway. Great video. Thanks Alex and Gareth.
My first bike was a baby blade (CBR250RR). I once parked at a cafe very much like this after chasing a 600 up the mountain. I felt a little embarrassed to be parked up among all the big boys, as mine was by far the smallest bike there. An old fella with tats all over and leathers well worn, turns to me and asks what I was riding. I sheepishly point to my little bike, and he pauses for a second while thinking, then says, "Man, I reckon that'd be fun!" And with that, I was inducted into the rider's club. Been riding for 42 years, and I'd probably look like the old fella at the top of the mountain now.
I'm glad to see you're back on two wheels. I had a vfr400 many years ago until it was written off. I'm on an 800 now and love it. It is such a social thing with bikes, and I go out just for the sake of it, no plans, no idea where to go, just go. As you said, if you are thinking about it, do it.
These small 400cc high revving honda are something else for sure! I had a 90' cb1 a few years ago and man. The feeling of hitting 14k , sounding like a race bike at full tilt, but barely toutching the speed limit is realy fun. I miss this little thing.
Alex I’m not a biker, know nothing about them, and have no interest in, but that was brilliant, really enjoyed that, kudos to you all. I live on the NC500, you should give that a go with Gareth you’d love it if you’ve not already been. Top man.

Great video again, nice to see Gareth back. Good choice on bikes, got excited seeing the little vfr, had an rvf 400 as 1st bike then weirdly as you have one too I moved onto a Ducati 748…then kids came along 😂 Like Alex I’m not tall and being flat footed at standstill on the RVF was so comfortable, hope you keep the bike was a great handling rev machine
Just got my motorbike license a few weeks ago, at 31.. Rocking around on my old mans ‘94 VFR750, and i’m having an absolute blast. More motorbike-content!
Nice. I had a VFR400 NC24. Amazing little bike, but crippling to ride for any distance (for me, anyway). That 'blade is cool too. Can't beat IoM in the sunshine! 🌞
I've had an NC21 and NC30 - I'd take the VFR over the Blade any day, however I would LOVE an RC30 :) Also that back shock issue is common - be careful of the down-shifts and the back wheel bouncing when going hard.

Rocking around on my old mans ‘94 VFR750, and i’m having an absolute blast. More motorbike-content!
Oeh, dat NC30 little 400, what a bike is that.
Got a I4 400 myself but nothing beats that V4 sounds
So nicely done Alex- my fave video yet; as a driver and a rider I really enjoy all of your content now. Hats off sir!
This year was my first year. I came all the way from Australia. It’s such an awesome experience that I’ll never ever forget!
