did you know if your subscribers dont watch your videos youtube will consider you uniteresting channel and start to drop you out from the top feed page? Just putting it out there, also people tend to stop watchign your videos when you start to beg for subs and make reference to your subs count
I've missed Gareth. Glad to have him back 😊 also keep up the awesome videos. Staying up to really late evening here in Australia to watch the videos being released 😅
This would be quality! If Taylor does not have his motorbike licence this would make for comical viewing seeing the adventures of Taylor obtaining his bike licence and getting in on this action!
@GamingGecko2013 it would be gold, you couldn't even write about what would come out of Taylor's mouth. The instructor would be in bits cracking up, along with the rest of the viewers.
I didn't even realise Alex had a bike license. Nice to see cars and bikes on the channel, there aren't that many options for bike content like this. You boys definitely picked a day for it though; when the guy riding the massive tourer is soaked, you know you've picked the wrong day, I was sympathising massively from my own experiences, especially when you guys hit that bit of flooded road...
Being BOTH a car lover AND a 34 year 'time served' all weather biker... I'm LOVING the fact that you are including motorbikes in your videos! They're just as fun as mucking about in £500 'Shit boxes' (I'd say more so in many ways 🤪). Anyways... Where's my Fabia VRS fella? 😋🤣🤣🤣 😎🇬🇧
Superb first episode on bikes! Hearing you both laughing out loud in your helmets as two mates on the open road properly embracing two wheels really gives a flavour of motorcycle ownership. Looking forward to future videos well done 👏🏼
I had a Bandit S 600 as my first motorcycle. It honestly looked so much like the one in the video. It is not supposed to be a naked bike. Mine was also COVERED in "protective" oil that every shop would point out. That basically meant the engine leaked, but never once did a drop hit the pavement where it would be parked. The engine was simple and had a great personality above 4,000 revs. It is an air cooled & carbureted engine, so it never needs much to get it going. Mine only ever needed a new rear coil over, freshened up front suspension, brakes, and tires & clutch when I wore them out. I think over the 2.5 years of owning it, I spent mayyyybe close to $2000 on maintenance, most of which was from previous owner neglecting the bike. I wouldn't own one again, but I would highly recommend one for a first bike, if someone was already looking. Nothing bad about it.
Having just bought my 1st bike, a 1998 kawasaki er500 for £699! This is perfect, hope to see lots more bike stuff through the summer 💪🏼 also love seeing Gareth back on!!! Missed him
I've missed Gareth since the podcast days, the updates of him trying to sell his BMW, then getting his Electric car kept me entertained through lock down while queuing up to go into Tesco
I LOVE the K75´s motor sound. All of her sounds. The clanking of the dry clutch, the banging of the heavy gears, the sining of the straight toothed primary drive....
Ha! I live in Thailand and we use waaaaay bigger bikes than those for touring! 😂 Great episode and I'm looking forward to more bike content! Love from Thailand
I got myself an ideal candidate for this challenge, last year! Found a 1992 Kawasaki GPZ 305 that had been partially converted into a super-lightweight Café Racer. Frame had been shortened, custom-made exhaust, painted tank, etc. Got it for £500. I fancied a bit of a project. HOWEVER... yeah... I kinda wasted my money! Decided to strip it to the frame and recondition it from the ground-up. Every time we tackled it, we found more horror stories! Exhaust was restrictive as hell and hit the rear brake lever, tank had been painted... with fence paint(!!), brakes were warped, electrics had been (badly) tampered with, seat wasn't mounted properly, rear shock needs serviced, handlebars and headlamp not fitted correctly, etc. We've since got a new exhaust, new brakes, new seat, new headlamp, new fairing and some more parts. She'll need new tyres, too. She'll be nice when we're done and it'll be completely unique, but my word, it's needed some spending!! 😆
Awesome content Alex! Missed seeing you and gareth together! With bikes now included really excited to see the upcoming adventures! Would be cool to see how they handle on the NC500! Hint hint 😅
As a Finn I'd love to know the story behind the Koti since koti autotalli means home garage directly translated from finnish. Albeit the pronunciation is somewhat different.
I’m a long time follower of RUclips’s automotive grandad and know nothing about bikes. I now know about two bikes! looking forward to the next one! Great to to see Gareth back in the mix
Bike content is great, keep making more! Bikes are more approachable than car stuff in these troubling financial times. Two wheeled locomotion is the greatest liberator of the people.
Did you know the K75 was the preferred choice for the camera bikes that rode alongside and filmed the Tour de France? It's very smooth throttle response at low speed meant there was no sudden lurches that could 'upset' the cameraman. Loving your work and doing stuff about bikes is the icing on the cake for me. I've just realised I have been riding bikes for longer than you have been alive...
People, who are young and want to get into cars, buy a motorcycle. In some cases, they are faster and they are cheaper to mantain. You still get your adrenaline pumpin, motorcycles are so much fun!
Enjoyed this i think you ben and taylor would be halarious doing a bike journey together 😂 legit the best car content since old top gear... nobody does it better on youtube than Alex 👌
Finally! Garreth equals awesome content and I'm happy to see him back. If you and Taylor can also be more serious or show that you got/get shit done in between banter, you've got two sides of a very high potential automotive channel. If you don't want to take on all the DIY projects, maybe find a good way of selling or disposing of the cars you bought? Either way, keep it up I support you guys no matter what!
Very excited to see some bike content at last, and looking forward to more from this series and future ones. Lovely seeing Gareth back too. That said, that Bandit is an absolute crate isn't it 😂 Beemer isn't bad though, or at least has potential.
Would be epic to see you Alex, Gareth and Taylor on a bike adventure. Possibly even some Isle of Man content? 👀 or Antrim N.I. Even if Taylor doesn’t have a full bike license would be funny to see him try stay with you guys on a 125cc 🤣
I'm so confused as to why this garage is called 'Home Auto Garage' in Finnish, I couldn't find any link to Finland on their website lol I definitely understand the coffee tho, coffee is like our blood in Finland
I used to buy old roadbikes and use them over feilds in the 80s never paid more than 25 /30 quid old 500s plenty of cub 90s lol and and honda benlies it was great fun ,love the chanel content guys awesome stuff 🤘
This was class, i love these budget challenges and great to have some bikes and Gareth back at it with you 👍. Hope ye do lots more bike related vids too. 😊
Gareth is back!! Now steal Ethan and the old crew and completely rebuild the old CT!!! Please do it. Now you could have also showed us the buying process as well. So glad to see bikes on here as well.
So glad you bought a k75! I bought mine when I was 22 as a cheap bike to go on holiday to France on. That was 15 years ago and I still tour on it commute on it through winter while my r9t stays wrapped up all warm. They're a bit shit and old in many ways but a really dependable old beast. Top tip, if you put new tyres on it get Bridgestone BT46's they're a game changer, you'll scrape the panniers on the road in the corners if you're brave enough!
Hell yeah. This is nice refreshing thing. Love bikes. Pretty much all channels regarding bikes are covering completely new GS's, Africa Twins etc. anyway stuff straight from the top. So cool to see this stuff 👍👍 I was expecting that owner to Finnish.. What on earth... (Kotiautotalli = Home garage)
Guys a friend of mine tried out his bike on his yard doing like 10-20kph after doing the brakes. They failed he crashed and since he wasnt wearing a helmet he broke his skull... So please think about that next time youre riding even very slowly for the camera on an unknown bike you never know what going to happen. Love the channel keep making the awesome content❤️

@AutoalexCars Where'd you get that Volvo wagon shirt?!
Definitely

Alex you just cant get away from Bmws
Would've actually loved to see you guys searching and buying the bikes, like in the old budget car videos.
Yeah definitely! They were my favourite videos on the old CT channel
They already owned them. Same as his last car video
Please do more bike stuff
Yes definitely!!
Similar premise to budget bike battle on 44 teeth.
Nice to see more diverse content though
As a biker my self. It’s so refreshing to see some bike context mixed into a car Chanel. Can’t wait for more. Keep it up guys
Couldn't agree more
if it has wheels and goes vroom vroom (or hum hum, cuz some of those new EVs are really cool) then im all about it!
Great to see you back with Gareth on your channel and great to see some bike content!
KOTI is my local bike stop, awesome place!
KOTI is home in finnish language.
@@okok-gg5fl Yup KOTI Autotalli means home garage in Finnish 😊
Did you know that "koti" is Finnish and means "home"?
I've missed Gareth. Glad to have him back 😊 also keep up the awesome videos. Staying up to really late evening here in Australia to watch the videos being released 😅
I've missed Gareth. His presenting skills have come on leaps and bounds aswell
He took this video by the horns. Alex cam help his mates if they can help themselves. Gareth has what it takes.
Gary Potter is an excellent name.
Everytime I see Gareth I remember the time he'd be in videos helping Alex work on Phil and I get nostalgic af.
Great to see bikes on the channel now. Love the work Alex! Keep em coming!
Even with bike's Alex still manages to buy a high milage touring BMW!! Love it 😂😂
xD😂😂
Barely broke in .
Loving the bike content! I'd pay to see Taylor on a motorcycle as that'd be hilarious
This would be quality! If Taylor does not have his motorbike licence this would make for comical viewing seeing the adventures of Taylor obtaining his bike licence and getting in on this action!
He wouldn't even be able to do the bike test. He'd just be giggling the whole time and lose focus.
@@timfagan816 would be a hell of a watch seeing him try haha! Sure he would have the instructors in bits along with the attempt 🤣
@GamingGecko2013 it would be gold, you couldn't even write about what would come out of Taylor's mouth. The instructor would be in bits cracking up, along with the rest of the viewers.
That bandit was well maintained, you were doing the speed and it wasn’t even moving the rev counter 😂
It’s hurts they were talking crap about the bandit and it’s legit cleaner than mine. And I love mine
@@RawRawJonisaur nothing wrong with a bandit ive a k8 650
@@peterreeton6051 Same here, k8 650. Absolutely solid machine, bulletproof engine, practically unkillable
For a bandit that's peak condition
I've got 2 1200s.. they are far more superior than even today's bikes.. like the mk4 supra that I also own
Alex: Time for some motorbikes!
Also Alex: BMW
captain obvious
£400 for the beemer is a bargain. Brilliant bringing bikes on the channel. 👊
That BMW sounded sweet enough on start up for £400.
Alex did a challenge on Car Throttle where he raced against Jack & Ethan on a bike; in the video you can see him having an L plate on the front
In case you’re not aware, 44 teeth regularly do budget bike battles
Ironically, MCM have just done a 'motorbike' video too, and that's also primarily a car channel.
@@2dcutout they've done a few. A couple of years ago they did a vid of Moog modding his Bonneville. And they had a few of the postie bikes too
Wow , seems like this serie only got 1 episode! great job guys

Love me some cars, but love me some bikes even more. Can't wait to see more motorcycle content from you, Alex!
This is the best channel on YT right now
Also can’t wait for podcasts😀
I have no intention of getting a motorbike but this was very interesting and entertaining.
I’m already rooting for an autoalex 44teeth budget bike battle crossover
This was super enjoyable. The banter while riding was just perfect!
My Dad had a K75 and the driveshaft whine was colossal! 😂 Don't drop it on yourself...
How's the s2000 also love the wt content
I LOVE the K75´s motor sound. All of her sounds. The clanking of the dry clutch, the banging of the heavy gears, the sining of the straight toothed primary drive....

This is my favorite motoring channel on RUclips by far. Theres plenty of things obtainable to the normal man on here and the content is always great
wheres part 2?
Love to see some bike content! I just started riding this month so it's great to see you picking them up on the channel!
Ha! I live in Thailand and we use waaaaay bigger bikes than those for touring! 😂

Not a Finn but I do live there and the name instantly caught my eye. Interesting choice for an English company.
Noticed the exact same thing as a Finn myself. Not often you see finnish words directly outside of Finland.
Yes as a Finn immediately noticed that, and also grimaced at Alex’s butchering of the pronunciation 😂😂😂

Good to see car throttles legendary mechanic back 😃, Hi Gareth 🎉. Another great episode always a fan Alex keep it up.
So happy to see that you’re both bikers and car lovers like myself! Didn’t realise any of you were also bikers and I’m so happy to see it

Great to see you and Gareth back on the channel. Looking forward to episode 2!
Yes Gareth is back. Like seeing old friends. Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone
Looking forward to this I was tempted to buy a cheaper bike. Think saving was the best choice picked my Suzuki GSR 750 up last week and love it.
Thanks Autoalex for creating exactly what I've been waiting for! Bring on more bike content and challenges.
