  • I Became a BOUNTY HUNTER in Elite Dangerous!
    Never really stuck around long enough to learn the game, while the future of Elite Dangerous looks promising right now i will start to play this game more as it's a really cool game with alot of things to do.
    Elite Dangerous is the definitive massively multiplayer space epic, bringing gaming’s original open world adventure to the modern generation with a connected galaxy, evolving narrative and the entirety of the Milky Way re-created at its full galactic proportions.
    Starting with only a small starship and a few credits, players do whatever it takes to earn the skill, knowledge, wealth and power to survive in a futuristic cutthroat galaxy and to stand among the ranks of the iconic Elite. In an age of galactic superpowers and interstellar war, every player’s story influences the unique connected gaming experience and handcrafted evolving narrative. Governments fall, battles are lost and won, and humanity’s frontier is reshaped, all by players’ actions.

    Night vision - on right panel.Set up key binding for it (separated for each of 3 modes, set the same key). And you will see rocks and ships far away. Also if you wear Ody suit you will see controls even with broken cabin through the helm, some people think it is the bug though.

      Oh really, night vision?! Haha there is so much to learn! :)
      Thanks for the tip!

      @@BapziAs the name implies it will only work when you are within a stars shadow.

    Lesson learned 😊
    Scan before you blam!
    And if you ever find yourself far away from your ship, go by foot and find the Apex shuttle service and book a flight to wherever your ship is. It will cost some credits, but not too much.
    A quick guide to the radar: The circle that you see when looking at the radar is the plane you are at right now. Think of it as the horizon if you were standing on the ground. The lines either above or below each contact shows you if it is above or below this plane. It connects the contact with the plane, so a line below the contact means the target is above you, and vice versa. (Baloons float up, anchors sink)
    Small squares are other objects out there, ships, containers, wake echoes and so on. A filled in square is an NPC, a hollow one is another player. When a ship deploys hardpoints it turns from a square to a triangle pointing upwards. A triangle pointing down is a station. Different colors indicate their standing towards you, green is an ally, red is an enemy, orange is everybody else. If a contact is blinking red and white it is attacking you. White ones are everything that is not a ship or station, like a container, limpet, wake echo or missile.
    There you go. Now go splash some more pirates. 😊

      Haha yeah, the scan is top priority now!
      Wow that’s an awesome description! I will have to read it more than once probably :-). Thank you for that, it was a lot more to the radar than I thought!
      There will be plenty of more pirate splashing in the future.
      Have an awesome day!

      @@BapziI forgot one important thing. Your current target is marked with on the radar.
      And.. If you ever find yourself with a bounty on your head again, disengage, fly away, go into supercruise and pull up the galaxy map. Look for a independant system and go to a station there. You can pay off your fines there (when landed) and the bounty will be withdrawn.

      @Sephyricon cool, that’s good to know! I bet it will happen again one day, haha :-)

    My first bounty hunting expedition ended much the same way! 😂 Yes, make sure your target is wanted. You can also use night vision or your ship's headlights for an easier time navigating asteroid fields...or just go to a haz res site on a sunnier side of the planet.

    • @Bapzi
      @Bapzi  6 месяцев назад

      Haha I guess it’s something a new player does :-). Yeah I heard about the night vision before, so much detail in this game. I am definitely going to try that!
      Haz res sites, guessing they are abit harder?

    • @boingthegoat7764
      @boingthegoat7764 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@BapziYes, there's four grades of Resource Extraction sites, Low, normal, High, and Hazardous, sorted by level of risk. Each has potentially more dangerous pirate ships. The Hazardous ones also have NO police presence so you're on your own. But you'll also get the most powerful pirates with the biggest bounties. Just check your targets, if they're in a wing that means they have backup!

      @boingthegoat7764 ah cool! I’ll have to look into that when I feel abit more confident :-)

    Im often bounty hunting in LHS 20 just a few light seconds from OHM City. Add Araxis Kayan and if I'm nearby anytime I'll hop over and help shoot stuff.

    I might be a little late to this party, but there's a night vision option in internal options panel. Makes those asteroids stand out really good.

    Nice and funny video,. Yep as ppl already have write.
    Scan before attacking, use night vision and head light.
    I'll recommend you to use missile to and when you've the credits buy the Krait Mk 2 and use a fighter hangar 👍

    • @Bapzi
      @Bapzi  6 месяцев назад

      Ive been thinking about using missiles, always enjoyed the explosions! I’ll have to give that a try!
      I was thinking of a Krait or possibly a vulture upgrade in the future :)
      Guess the Krait is abit better though!
      Thanks for the comment, happy that you enjoyed the video!

      @Bapzi , yeah, I've played elite in many year but stop for a year ago cause I wanna try Star Citizens 😊 but your first video popped up in my feed for some days ago 😅 and that made me play a bit Elite again 😉
      When you are good with your ship then try out with a Interdiction unit and pull those bounty out of Supercruise to use and hit them with the surprise momentum 👌🏻
