I totally agree with you👍 Schrade definitely needs to make an Uproar D/A otf with a bowie blade made of S30V🙏🏼 If Schrade could do that and sold it for around $130.00-$140.00, it would be a huge mega hit product for them😁
I bought the tan one and I think it’s a great knife for what it is and for the price of an American product. Also fails every now and then but it’s light and compact also easy to carry , I would suggest a firmer grip and it deploys perfectly.
I feel like schrade could benefit from a rebrand. I can't help but think of cheap, off the shelf walmart/menards, beater type knives. It also makes me think of electric yard tools for some reason lol. Did they used to make stuff like that or am I thinking of a similar sounding brand?
Good video and not to be throwing any negative shade on your video but I bought 2 of these at the same time .One black and the other Coyote Tan. The Tan one failed deployment about 7 times out of 10. I reached out to Schrade and they gave me a refund upon returning the knife. I still own the black one and it deploys and retracts successfully only about 75% of the time.I blew it out, lubed it and it still has the same performance. I`m stuck with it so lesson learned. Schrade has some work to do in their OTF line up.
@@Rompastompa71 I believe you, I would still even contact them via email or IG, see if you can get a replacement for it. If it's not working as it should, I'd contact them. I haven't had a failure yet and I've smashed them in to 2x4s

And when they see a budget blade or a new company they just kind of gloss over it because it doesn’t interest them anymore. And virtually no one does the spine whack test, or says it’s dumb. Which ironically, is dumb haha. Anyways, you don’t have to feel obligated to do forward facing. It is nice to have a face to put to the voice. I do enjoy seeing peaks of the AK every now and then though. Makes me want to get one of mine out. Been a while.

I don't know if I want to drop cash on them, though.

these OTFs are chinese made, designed and built in the USA, i think they are solid for $80 or so no question.

Yeah from what I’ve heard schrade has always been pretty good about honoring their warranties.
