I fell in love with the Hogue Knives Compound with tritium. God i love G-10 handle scales because they dont slip like aluminum. Pretty much my whole collection of autos and folders have g10 or Micarta.
Spot on I have the new Gen 3 (Shift) Axial just aluminum 7075 handles in clip point magnacut mint. I have said it everywhere Axial will email you back or txt you in very good timeline. I hate Microtech had a lot of them hade a problem with one and emailed Micotech and VM over 8 mouths ago still waiting for them to contact. Sold all of them bought Kersahw Livewire, Axial, and Guardian Tactical OTF. Those are all winners. I bought mine direct from Axial but Blade HQ sells them also but you will not get your 5% discount. I would wait buy right from Axial! They will put you on waiting list.
Axial and Guardian Tactical have the best action I have played with. You can't deny the reliability of a Microtech. My Recon Elite is number 64 and it being an early knife from GT, it has had it's issues. From week one.
I don't own one but I actually really like the clip on the full size Hera 2. Overall I think the Hera 2 looks better as well. At least the Axial OTFs are priced better.
Mine just arrived today. Unfortunately mine has more finish blems BLAND NEW than your week old used knife... Also am not very happy that the version I bought doesn't have the American flag on it. I'm pretty bummed. Oh well.

Hawk deadlock is the best otf without a doubt? (Zero blade play!)... This is ok for a budget otf. Everything sold out kinda sucks. But...is it "made" in the USA or just "assembled " in the usa?
Its made in the US. They are dropping a batch Friday. Also i just don’t like the deadlock that much. Its cool cuz of no play. That about the only thing i like better than this otf. Just personal preference. Not a dagger guy.

I disagree. I have a review on the deadlock. I am not a fan of double edged blades and that is all they offer if I remember correctly. Also, they are very expensive, and you can’t just buy one. I also prefer the switch, design, and clip on the Axial. These are of course my opinions, you are welcome to yours as well. So the title stands 😂
The only good thing about the Deadlock is the zero blade play and Microtech is about to launch theirs without a blade play. I had the opportunity to hold a Deadlock and I found its grip horrible, an overrated knife just because of one feature that was exclusive until now.

My brother has one with the CF inlay and it's awesome. I'm holding out for cruwear or magnabutt. Still can't decide on a tanto or wharnie either.
