TRM runs their Magnacut kinda soft at 60-61 HRC according to the owner. I really wish they would bump that up.

REALLY appreciate the clarification on disassembly!
I like it but the shadow looks so much better (aesthetically).. but my Shadow was WAY too easy to get the blade to fall out with a little shake.

Why buy this when you can get a usa made bel air for $100 less with the same specs but magnacut steel with 62-64 HRC?
Because kershaw fit and finish doesn’t even come close to TRM. You’re getting what you pay for. Even the cross bar lock is tuned much better on from TRM. Kershaw isn’t even competing with Kizer if you’re comparing similarly priced offerings. The militaw absolutely shits in the bel air in every way. Even with s35, it holds an edge better in testing. Enough reasons to skip kershaw? Definitely.
Reviewers don’t talk about TRM enough in my opinion. The story about your little girl helping you was the best part of the content.Thx
Not as much these days since they don’t put out model after model each year. That said, a few years ago Nick Shabazz gave TRM the Shabazz effect with his review(s) and they very quickly became extremely difficult to get ahold of for quite some time. Also every reviewer then had to get one for their channel.
