What up Kev? I'm so glad I came across your Remette RT Bee-G review. Took your word, ordered one for myself and wow, you weren't joking. This is a great knife! Ergos great, action great and the blade is sharp. Couldn't be happier. Now, if I could just get my hands on one of them sweet "Divo" knives.
The bearings in some remettes such as this one are really good. Nylon caged 5mm / 3/64" bearings, but the balls are offset from each other, so it's essentially multi-row. No need to Skiff at all, but doesn't hurt either. Either version of the Bee is perfect to just have around in the car, toolbox or wherever. Quality, perfect edc size, and the pick comes in handy for non-dental uses. Not a collection item, just to be used.
I would say any 5mm 3/64 bearings should be swapped due to the spacing of balls. Just not enough of them. Skiff fixes that adding 10-15 balls extra. I always notice a big difference with knives in this bearing size

Another Remette with no reversible clip, great 😢 this one is like it’s designed to get lefties’ hopes up until your realise it’s a stupid toothpick not a filler tab 😂😂😂 it’s like they’re trolling us at this point
To be fair you said you hate reversible clips in another comment 😆. Yea it sucks being lefty. Just get some off the grid pants and carry the righty ones in the left hip pocket. Fixes everything for me
@@LeftyEDC thats a issue there 14c used to be cheaper than 154cm...currently depending on brand its being sold like its top tier blade steel , and being pushed by knifetubers like its the best thing since sliced bread....... its not matter of fact id take a 8cr blade over 14c any day cost me a quarter of 14c and get the same edge retention .....ON A FOLDING KNIFE EDGE RETENTION IS KING AND SHOULD BE THE PRIMARY FOCUS not toughness save that for hard use implements.
@@anthonyrollins9825i agree 14c doesn’t make as much sense on folders. But who is selling it for top tier prices? This knife is $57. Under $150 with titanium i see no issue with it if thats what consumers want. Which a lot do. Again, i prefer 154cm. Its $10-15 more though so the price comes up. 9CR is decent for budget knives. Id rather that than D2 on stuff like Rosecraft. But 8CR does not have better edge retention. They are about the same. But 14C has much better toughness and somewhat better corrosion resistance. Using Knife Steel Nerds as reference. I never thought to compare 14C to 8CR but you do make a good point, they are similar. That hurts it for sure.
personally I think im super biased to it because of the way it has been pushed on us by the knifetubers like it is some awesome stuff when its not , some even go to calling it a " balanced steel" which is laughable with a toughness of 9 and edge retention of 3 ......... and the cherry on top if you want the toughness buy 420HC you want the edge retention buy 8cr both steels being cheaper.
@@LeftyEDC and to drive home a point , Maxlvledc recently commented on a cbrrx video about the Vosteed Parallel $140 that they would have preffered the knife to be in 14c or NitroV over 154cm............... like wtf are ppl smoking?

This is my new work truck knife. Already used the pick to fix some equipment in the field

Keep your eye out. Fireball drops 10/17 and Mini Growler should be coming soon
You're the third or fourth creator that has said this so it must be a real banger. I had the same idea about reversing the clip and pick. Great minds😅

Mine came Friday,KC was saying it’s a great knife and it is a great carry, makes me want to try the Rhino
A lefty edc channel praising a non reversible knife? Thing must be a miracle! Good video
I've got a kingfisher and the wd107 and they are very well done the kingfisher is a little weird but I really enjoy carrying it great video man 👍
I wanna check this one out. Ty Kev.
thats very nice folder
Great vid 👍🙏
This sounds like a PAID advertisement... lmao the discount code works for other models.

Just a solid scale handle would be perfect
Thanks for shutting up Kev. Take care.
I love everything about this knife but the speed holes take me to a no
Cheers!
cool bedget knife
Has anyone had any order or delivery issues with Remette company out of China ? Really wanna pull the trigger and get that knife …
Nope

It's a liner lock. Hard pass.
14c on a folding knife ....PUUUUUUKE GAH GAG ... why ?
Welcome to earth 🤣. There are tons of knives with 14c. I do prefer 154cm in the budget category but then it costs a little mire
