Chaves is my absolute favorite brand. If you haven't gave them a shot, I urge you to get out there and enjoy the magic they're up to.

I also love everything I’ve handled/owned of Chaves, man I just wish they’d try literally any other premium steel besides M390
@@brevanmcclellan6235 well friend, we might be in luck. Earlier this year they had the dirty steve scapegoat in 3V, boker redencion mini auto is in magnacut, and rumor has it their protech redencion auto collaboration will be magnacut.

I own the pen and love it. And I'm one of those guys who collect pens having about 100 in my collection.
My wife got me a copper bolt action TT pen with Timascus bolt for our anniversary a while back. I use it all day, every day and get comments/compliments on it all the time. I use the Ohto ceramic carts in blue, best pen I've ever used.
I have a TT mid-sized bolt action pen and I totally agree about the quality machining. I also laughed to myself when reading a “poor” review due to the fact the person couldn’t figure out how to open the pen to change out the ink cartridge!
Left brain: You don't need a $185 titanium driver. Right brain: Get it, get it !!! 😅
What I like about a nice pen is that I keep them and refill them. I haven't lost one yet.
But I have lost thousands of cheap pens.
Also, don't be afraid of handing someone a good pen if they need to sign something quick or whatever. They'll hand it back because they'll realize it's fancy the second they hold it. Cheap pens tend to get absentmindedly pocketed.

I also have been into pens a lot too. TT is excellent! But I just acquired 2 Chaves pens, a dot bolt action and a vertical lines click and both are amazing!! Love how the barrel and sleeve that goes over it or separate so one could try some cool anodizing on the barrel or vice versa. Just like everything else from Chaves, they are beefy and amazing.

I LOVE that AWESOME bit driver & just so you know it can be used as a glass breaker too (I saw this at blade show 2024 review but I dont understand how the glass breaker functions so maybe you can figure that out 🤪
The bit inside with the ball bearing tip is the glass breaker bit.
