I'm not Mexican but with all of you I learned that preparing salsas is so easy that I don't go back to a store-bought salsa at all... Here in Puerto Rico, it's not so easy to get fresh green tomatillos but you can always get them... Canned I highly doubt they sell them here because unfortunately the supply of Mexican products is quite limited... I already ordered my green tomatillo seeds to see if I can grow my own tomatoes 😊

This is very popular in New Mexico. We make them without the tomatillos and use roasted green chili with tomato and meat and also red chili sauce and always a fried egg , mild cheddar cheese, chopped tomato and lettuce. Really delicious. Always fry your tortillas first for extra flavor.
