I made one like this! Super cool and relaxing to just sit back and make a base like that. It takes a lot of time, and it isn’t exactly worth it, but it’s fun to walk through. You can’t really do the “one long corridor” thing though, because the game would lag a bunch. You need to separate them into a bunch of different separate bases, that just end very close to eachother so you can get out, swim to the hatch, and get back in
I always forget to add actual comfort to my base until the very late game... I'll have water purifiers, alien containment, moonpool... But only once they're built I realise "huh, I probably need a bed"
Fun fact: Divs base literally used all of the titanium in the entire world, and caused untold amounts of ecological damage. The mushroom forest is just a buncha funky rocks now due to his toxic waste.
These were all so cool! Well except for the Among Us one, that was just a 'Bruh' moment, lol. Anyway, I don't bother with Creative mode. I do all of my building in Survival, it makes things more challenging and fun.
5:15 that just gave me flashbacks to why I haven't played subnautica in a while. I shouldn't have built a base there... and now I can't leave without a fight. I have my prawn suit but it still won't be an easy battle
I built a base in Survival within that crater in the Inactive Lava Zone, which serves as an entrance to the Lava Lakes - I'm always close enough to the Sea Dragon Leviathan to hear its roars, and sometimes I'll even see it swim overhead. Good thing they're dumb as mud, and can't ever detect u if your Cyclops is in silent running mode. Otherwise, I'd be dead several times over by now. Lol
I have one in Subnautica and Below Zero that just spans the entire map. I have a few leviathans trapped and tried to go as many interesting places possible (even utilizing cheats to make a inside ventgarden bit), mostly including every biome (the void killed me inside in both games), every interesting location, everything I just found cool (like this area that has a bunch of those little guys in Below Zero that get out of the water and flop around), every leviathan, and a large room every place I thought was cool! It was a good way to waste around a week per game. Don’t want to say how long I’ve worked on both bases because oh my god it’s too long (though shorter than I expected honestly). I tried to give it a mix of a hotel/tourist area, as well as a research facility. I did do this in creative though, so it didn’t take NEARLY as much time as survival would have
@@TheLastBacon Yeah, except if you(like me) built the observatory directly at the spawn point of the void chelis 😄 all the clipping makes it stressful instead of relaxing, you don't wanna stay there for too long 😂

These bases were awesome! I wish I could make some of these bases. I have made some cool ones from vanilla Subnautica and below zero, I even made one in the void bottom. Awesome video bacon! Hope your mouth stop hurting soon!
The last base I made was in creative mode and the whole thing was above water on platforms pretty subpart to be honest, my first one was set up in that my moonpool was over a small trench
I'm currently working on an aquarium base, in the aquarium. Once finished, it will be 16 large rooms... at the very least, one room each for each of the 15 different egg fish (the only thing I use console commands for was adding Shuttlbug and Reefbag eggs). One large tank for non-infected, and one for infected (though I have found that Crashfish and Reefbacks can't be infected). The 16th room for 20 of the E42 Peepers (as they don't pass on the trait to their offspring) and the 5 Cuddlefish. 26-28 multipurpose rooms, one tank for all the other fish. But having 2 rooms stacked on each other. So, you can just walk through. Placing them out as 4 large, 4 double multipurpose, 4 large, 4 double multipurpose, 4 large, 4 double multipurpose, and 4 large, going across. With 25th/26th-27th/28th multipurpose rooms, housing Oculuses and Reginalds, attached at the back of the large room with the E42 Peepers and Cuddlefish. Adding in about 70(?) glass I compartments, 12 x compartments, and a few t compartments. And so, so many bulk heads. Plus, I might plan on adding in plants, like I did with a recent video I uploaded, with all the plants. That will pretty much double the titanium needed. So yea, farming for the resources in survival is ridiculous. I still have a lot more to gather, lol.
@@TheLastBacon I'll try to do that. I think it would be better to make a video, though. I play on the xbox. And just from what little construction I've done (about 30% complete). It can't even fully render the distance. Like I'll see interior of the rooms, but not the rooms themselves, of the opposite end. edit: to give a scale of it. @@TheLastBacon Alright, I've got the base completed. All the rooms, alien containment units, and the fish and plants filled in those ACUs. Using the teraforming tool, I built a base inside the mushroom tree. Then an update came and all of the terformed matter was put back in. I signed in to a bedroom completely filled with tree trunk.
It was pretty awesome. My favorite thing by far was hollowing out some of the trunk's underside and building a hidden moonpool inside it. I miss my secret bat cave entrance. I even painted my sea moth the traditional blue and yellow. 😂
You should check out "Symmetra Main" base, it's a Subnautica Below Zero save where it have abandon bases that are flooded with overgrown of sea plants inside the bases. There's even a base that build near third Ventgarden.
I usually just make a pillar of multipurpose rooms as high as I can, then fill that pillar with aquariums and then I build my base around it(I fill the aquarium with a ton of eggs so that it looks better.)
I once made a base in Below Zero that went from the lifepod all the way to Delta Island. And at Delta Island I put a hotel with something like 4 large rooms.
I would love to see a video where you analyse the fate of the aurora lifepods and speculate what if things had gone better, what would it take for the people to have survived, could they actually have managed to group up on the floating island, could there have been a team up to 10 people to survive on the planet and what could have happened between them, this subject is pretty big tho, so it could be nice to do in a collaboration with one of your fellow subnautica youtubers, like speedymouse or aci, i really would like to see that

I like to keep my base simple until I can have my Cyclops be my mobile base: I just build a Moonpool powered by Solar Panels, a bed in the corner, modification station, radio, medkit dispensary, fabricator, battery charger and Seamoth module fabricator. Once I have everything prepped, I deconstruct everything and put a few lockers in the Cyclops and move the other utility things into it

I like to keep my base simple until I can have my Cyclops be my mobile base: I just build a Moonpool powered by Solar Panels, a bed in the corner, modification station, radio, medkit dispensary, fabricator, battery charger and Seamoth module fabricator. Once I have everything prepped, I deconstruct everything and put a few lockers in the Cyclops and move the other utility things into it
Sounds smart :) A very efficient approach!
Every creature in Subnautica look tasty and terrifying aswell
Not sure about the tasty part haha :D
Thanks for featuring my base!
Thank you for submitting it! :)
Hey, if you're doing another one of these in the future, I would love to submit a video.
Also, loving the content! :D
Sounds great! :) Please do!
You should make a base building tutorial for epic bases!
Sure! :)
You think you’ll do this again, as I have some great base ideas I’d like to share, but I missed this one :(
Definitely will do this again at some point! :)
@@TheLastBacon Cool!
3:13 the builder came back
Yep! :)
Sir have you pondered what it's like to beat Subnautica below zero while fully under the influence of a lilypaddler? Seems like a trippy colored run of Amnesia underwater
Love the idea! :D
6:33 it is in survival i mean the stuff he got make me think that why take the time to take weapon if we can just kill all the entity
Yeah it's crazy! :)
my subnautica base is on the surface of water and somewhat anchored to a stone pillar right above the entrance to the jellyshroom cave, it kinda looks like a space station with its two moonpools to the left and right and a tower of multipurpose rooms with swim-evator aquariums reaching down. i'd want to show it, but putting a discord image link in a youtube comment doesn't seem safe to me..
Sounds awesome :)
Found your no damage video from a few months ago. Are we getting a part 2?
Yep! That one is coming as well :)
