Internet is always unrealistic remember that A lot of adults atleast where i live (india) are around 5'5" or 5'4" adult height and my adult height predictor is 5'8" so i am gonna grow like 2 inches from 5'6" in 15.5 yrs of age, height really depends on where you live in the world not by the internet
I don’t want guys assuming all girls and women hate short men lol, I have nothing against shorter men and I think both men and women who make fun of or demean short men are ridiculous. Same with people who make fun of tall women. Most women who have very strict height stuff (especially when they themselves are short) would in actuality be just fine with a man under 6 foot tall, but those men are not often talked about like they’re attractive on social media and such. Even men tell men that women don’t like below average on untall men, that you need to get taller to be found attractive, etc. In general, don’t let someone tell you what half the earth is or isn’t attracted to. If you think short height is sort of disability, watch the Paralympics. Human sprit is powerful and unbroken. Not all battles are won at ideal circumstances. Those physical constraints shouldn't be the excuse for stopping self improvement and complaining about the societal prejudice. There are a lot fighters and legends in their own field doing better than others. Ilia Topuria is only 5'7. What if we all gathered in public speaking groups and used scientific evidence to reinforce the fact that all humans deserve respect, love, fun, care, etc.? I think many people would have their eyes opened. Then, we could actually get out of this suffering and not have to work strenuously to prove ourselves. Heightism causes nothing but suffering, and should never be tolerated or legal. No matter how common or under-the-radar it is. A human is not a tool, nor something to be scrutinized or messed with! A human is a sacred life form! I propose that we use our resilience for real this time. We overcame many injustices before & we will unconditionally never give up on anyone.
I'm bi but I don't tell everybody but EVERYONE knows I'm short (I'm almost 16 and I'm a bit over 5'6 which is around average but my classmates are all early bloomers with stubbles and I can't even grow a damn mustache yet) and they judge me for being short because nobody knows about my sexuality because why would they? Plus, I'll probably be taller and more successful than them anyways. Screw 'em. From my experience, short guys are way more judged and discriminated for being short than being LGBTQ+, but I'd like to hear other people's thoughts.
Now in the gym you'll have the advantage cuz having shorter levers helps with lifting heavier weight. But that's to a certain extent. I'm 5.4ft but 15 so I'm still growing hopefully I reached the average height of 5'9 but I don't really care if I stop growing at 5.5ft
im 5'7 and definitely it lowers my self esteem especially in Germany where im 10cm below avarage height, it just makes me feel less manly, It should be qualified for disability. Its especially hard now in my 30s where i feel im not taken seriously, and in terms of dating yeah, i dont even try becouse im in huge disadvantage from the get go

I recently traveled to portugal and Spain I saw quite a few short guys with tall girls.. You also mentioned sports sometimes It's an advantage to have a lower center of gravity!
As a woman, I guarantee you that height is not a deal breaker for many of us. I'm 5'9 and there's always dudes I'm taller than. Any self respecting, intelligent woman cares more about you washing your ass and going to therapy than what your height or bank account says. I put myself through graduate school and worked hard, I don't need your money.

Not as much as basketball, but footballers are taller too nowadays because the game is less about dribbling (which those shorter players you named excelled at) and more about physicality.

I'm not lying since I've measured myself on a measuring machine thing on the gym and on the walls at home which either with the machine saying 183cm or that i was 6ft on the wall. Anyways, i think it's overrated, like bro I'm not kidding. I still feel sometimes small when looking at other guys at university who seem to play basketball all day lol. They're either 6'2 or 6'4 or above, but it's just a few. And the fact that even if you are tall, it doesn't change the fact that by the end of the day if you look mid or ugly and stuff you still won't get girls (trust me I'm literally an example). But yeah, girls expectations in height at least on the west are too damn high.
