Side effect of being open minded, exploring thoughts and not being brainwashed is that, there is less unity among them when it comes to religion… as there are so many gods, languages, culture etc etc. But history has taught us, Hinduism is the oldest religion, survived till now, and will be there in future too.

I don't know about other States but in West Bengal at class 7 and 8 Sanskrit is mandatory. I learnt it then. Also took it as a main subject in higher secondary (+2). Many Muslim students also took it as the main subject. My Sanskrit tutor was also a Muslim. Great teacher he was. The way he taught Viswarupdarshanam (taken directly from Bhagavat Geeta) is still echoing in me.
