If you associate yourself / your parents to a middle class, the financing or loans - are your friends forever. Not to mention credit cards offers rewards. I just got a new card and I use it on things I ‘have’ to buy like fuel and insurances and such. I get points back per every dollar spent and this specific card offers a $750 cash back after X amount of dollars spent. But because I’m using it on thing I’d already be buying, it’s like I’m getting a savings. 👌🏽

If I happened to miss it I’d love to know so I can go watch it😅 I’m still extremely new to cars, I only got really interested a few months ago. I adore your videos about car mods and have gotten a lot of new ideas for my future project car and even some for my current car that hopefully won’t shorten her lifespan too much😅 if you haven’t already, you should make videos about mods for specific things (mods for speed, sound, off roading), I know you cover some of those mods across several videos but it would be nice to see them all in one place.
The best advise for any car spending. Just Be Smart If you make 40 grand a year. Don’t try and get a car that’s 50+ grand. Unless you are absolutely sure you have the financial backing.
Tons of great info here and can absolutely confirm that credit cards is the better way to increase your score. Another tip, let about 2% of your total available credit limit (across all cards) post to your monthly statement before paying it off. Make sure to do this on your card with the highest limit so it doesn't hurt your cards available credit limit percentage. This helps show responsible usage habits but the key is "usage". If your balances always show as 0 every month, it's the same as not using the card so it doesn't help as much. Car loans are very important though if your goal is to ultimately have a dream car. You can't expect to be approved for a 180k car loan when all you've had is a 10k car loan. You have to build up to it by getting a larger and larger car loan each time. This helps show the banks that you can handle it and increases your chances of getting approved.
Me sitting here at 19 with my own credit at 12% 😬 Edit: it only took me 10 months to build a score up to 730 and after the loan still at 722 somehow 👍🏽
What I do with payments for something I want is tie that thing to an activity that I should be doing to hit a goal so that way it be employed as a reward. For example, if you're looking for a job then your goal might be to apply for 3 jobs a day. Each time you hand out an application, put a dollar in a fund for something you want. When you get a job then you can spend the money. I'm 125 days in (Yes, I journal it) to a goal and I've delayed buying some items I want that cost a few hundred dollars because I want to tie that item to a reward; it trains my brain for delayed gratification and the resultant increase in confidence and character that comes with it.
i'm pretty sure in europe you HAVE to show what's the annual interest rate (95% of interest rates land in between 0% and 10%) and usually most people go for the lowest (often 0%) interest rate and even 10% is considered by some as a scam
One of the first loans I had was for a phone. Paid it off, applied for a credit card, credit score was like 700. Just used the credit card when money got tightened, paid off the balance when check hit or made a payment. Small loans and stuff like that do help. Credit is still young, but yeah. The small credit usage does help a lot
@3:15 I was waiting to get an intake on Black Friday, like a good looking one. And I got it off a guy selling it for half off. Lightly used, best bang for your buck is lightly used(just gotta find trustworthy people)
I am looking at leasing the car I'm looking at buying, then buying the car used before the lease ends. I got a credit card and use it for gas and groceries, and I regularly put money away so he is right about these habits. They do help alot
When I got my first credit card, I started paying it off immediately, and I had 750 credit score at 19, and my parents didn’t pay it off for me. Just because a young person has good credit does not mean mommy and daddy paid it off for you.
I dont make tons of money since I'm still in highschool, but pay in 4 allows me to spread out my spending across multiple pay checks and still have access to better parts
Never took a student loan or went to school. Now in blue collar making 32/hr building a widebody genesis coupe. Not the most expensive car but have 2.9% paying 156/m for it. Built credit with my card and took a 2k loan out just to build it. Then 2 years later got my car for low interest. I agree alot of people don’t know what credit really is, i had no co-signers and worked my way up and got a cheaper sports car that’s got custom size Work wheels. And im not ever short on money. All about patience and building credit and cars at a steady pace. No sense pushing it all at once for “clout”
I’m not bad with money, I can manage my money somewhat decently. I haven’t been doing good lately but that’s because I’ve been sinking a lot into my car. I use pay in 4 ALL THE TIME!! I don’t like using affirm but I do occasionally if pay in 4 isn’t an option.
I’d love to have a hellcat, but I know I’m not capable of getting one right now. I want to better know how I can keep myself safe and not break the bank. I think I’ll become a pharmacist, but time will tell, I really hope they don’t inflate like hell like the original challengers and chargers from the late 60s, but I think the last edition, which is going to have allegedly 900hp and of course I’m going to want it and of course that’s the one that’s going to appreciate the most, like the demon lol, but I’ll be content with a manual hellcat challenger, if there’s still reasonably priced in 10-15 years time
Can confirm number 2 here. I got a Thule Pulse Medium size roof box for HALF the price of the one on the market. All I did after I got it was removing the stickers and put on some plastic restoration, done. Indeed facebook marketplace is one of the best way to save money
Pay-in-4 is possibly going to become a very, VERY bad idea in the near future. These "loans" are not currently reported to the credit agencies, but they are looking to change that due to predatory practices. They way they're talking, each P-I-4 will be considered a new opened line of credit, then when it's paid off, it will show as a closed line of credit... and if you know anything about how credit ratings work, this could potentially be disastrous. It still boils down to the age-old adage... if you can't afford it, don't buy it.
Ive done a lot of the bad habits here. Not the like really stupid ones but yeah. But my dream car was a 03-06 z71 tahoe which is what i drive amd its awesome and slow but takes me anywhere with my intellectually acquired wheel and tire setup, 35s on 18s(i traded an ar10). If i have an itch to go fast i take my kawasaki z or my 72 c10 my parents bought me as first car.
Financed my first new car to bump my credit up as I had no debts older than two years. Build credit up by buying one tank of fuel each month and paying off in full for three years.
I use my credit card for groceries and gas constantly and only use debit for small personal costs to keep them separate and know better what I’m spending on what but large parts costs I will do credit and then immediately pay the card off when possible instead of letting that be my next statement. I have a pretty healthy credit score because of it. I also drive a old Volvo which helps. Low insurance and no car payment.
Going FBO on my 2015 BMW 335i (Downpipe, intercooler, charge pipe, intake, JB4), and i got it all used for around 800 on facebook marketplace. All parts lightly used and they work just fine. New it would be like 2 grand for those parts.
Yo bladed I have been really enjoying your videos. You seem cool and our views on things are pretty similar. You have really helped me get through my journey at meets etc
One good way to express the student loans realty to someone who has a hard time seeing any other option than College Is to explain that you really can’t get a job that can pay back your student loan effectively Without a job that requires a degree
Thats why you are supposed to have good credit and use affirm to buy tire and shocks etc. at a 0% apr. Anyone buying stuff at 15% is crazy and I don't use affirm unless I can do 0% and qualify for a few thousands.
Just waste your time waiting so that you might be able to get what would be useful to you or make you happy. Yea because we all have as much time as we want and need in life. I agree with your point on financing a car and not being fucked by the bank, but If I have 2k in the bank and my cart of car parts is 4k and I can make 4 payments on it while I earn the money for them I’m gonna get the parts now so I can have and use the as much as possible. I’d rather die broke and happy in having acquired and used the things I want in life than to die rich having not spent anything on what would have brought joy to me.
I just recently bought a set of Used Honda OEM wheels Specially the 5 star wheels from the 2016 Accord. They came with Yokohama Tires too, they were like $300 for all 4 These wheels are like $300 each normally, for just the wheels: not even the tires too I got them through Marketplace
I did the same way to build credit by buying my groceries and gas monthly. It took me like 2 years of build up credit for me buy my new car with a good apr rate.
@@gavinhicks7621 yea it does I was lucky that I was accepted of their first buyer program but using the credit card for small thing does help to show proof of credit history.
My bank said the lowest APR for my motorcycle loan was 22%. And the lowest I got from the dealers bank was 19%. Even with the 60-70% I put down. Granted I was only 20 at the time with absolutely zero credit. I had a pretty low payment. Probably not the smartest thing to do to build credit but🤣oh well, got me from nothing to mid 600s P.S. Recession boutta fuck up Scat pack bois lives lmao
This was the best you could do. Not to be locked on 'APR', but the bike. If you were able to pay the payments without fault , obviously overpaying - nothing to do, that's the life. Not everyone was born with JPMorgan credit card.
not my 13 year old self acting like i have a car and shi but no really i think it’s sad that i’m more informed on this car adults, im not einstein but now i know not to do dumb stuff thx bladed angel youhelped a lot
I overall never would never take a loan for credit or even use credit for payments even-though it’s the last resort, if I were to get a car I’m willing to start off with a 01 civic and modify down the line and take a whole lot of heat for it than to be in debt and being stuck
i had no choice but to get a new car because my old one got totaled. My parents refused to help me get another used car so I had to get a new one (toyota corolla hatchback) for $29k at around 7-8% APR with a 630 score after that one loan for my old car was paid off. Sucks that it happened but I'm still glad I don't have that pos oil burning pontiac vibe anymore.
Pay in 4 schemes are popular because people with poor money management skills often don't make the payments, which si where the schemes make their money. There's no interest until you miss a payment but when you do... honestly if you cant afford to save up and buy it then you probably can't afford to pay it in four either
i financed my 2nd car at a dealer and it was like 27% and i wasnt informed enough to know what it meant and i saw the payoff price when i got home and it would’ve been like 20k+ for a car listed at 9500. it got totaled though so i got out of it
buying used parts is weird. I was trying to get a set of wheels for my VW and one ad for a set of Brabus wheels literally said "$1200 or will trade for a firearm of equal value" like idk that seems a bit sketch.

This channel is like evangelion. It went from slightly depressing, to goofy ahh channel and now were discovering the reason why we all live and how to be a better person/love yourself.
Love your videos.
I was dying at the hell cat owners bit with 29% apr rate bit
You should make a video about car girls. You make so many about car guys but I didn’t see a single one about us girls after going through all of your videos.
Pay in 4 is a ingenious strat.
That C7 body kit HURT😂😂 Hopefully they had a new set of wheels being shipped in lol
I bought a rear diffuser for my Genesis from some local guy for $30 on Facebook lol
Glorious.
The best advise for any car spending.

Don’t try and get a car that’s 50+ grand. Unless you are absolutely sure you have the financial backing.
Just here to report that the grocery credit growth strategy works. Put your bills on autopay, too.
Thank you, this is useful. I might go back to this video when I own a car.
Me sitting here at 19 with my own credit at 12% 😬
Edit: it only took me 10 months to build a score up to 730 and after the loan still at 722 somehow 👍🏽
I know several people with score near to 500, owning a house where they live in and few in addition as investment. Plus cars for family members.
I usually always use the 6 month no interest from PayPal. I have the money for the parts but I don't want to just spend it all at once.
4:40 "NEVER PUT YOURSELF IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE POSITION" See hes a neet afterall
yeah that APR thing is stupid. i refinanced from 16% to 10% and soon, i'll refinance again after another 6 months and hopefully get closer to 5%

Dream first project car to do with a few friends: DF Goblin with the cobalt sc engine
The problem with buying used parts is having to deal with the weirdos on marketplace where u basically have to pull teeth to get any information
i'm pretty sure in europe you HAVE to show what's the annual interest rate (95% of interest rates land in between 0% and 10%) and usually most people go for the lowest (often 0%) interest rate
and even 10% is considered by some as a scam
One of the first loans I had was for a phone. Paid it off, applied for a credit card, credit score was like 700. Just used the credit card when money got tightened, paid off the balance when check hit or made a payment. Small loans and stuff like that do help. Credit is still young, but yeah. The small credit usage does help a lot
What if your dream car is a cheap car
Which one? :)

@3:15 I was waiting to get an intake on Black Friday, like a good looking one. And I got it off a guy selling it for half off. Lightly used, best bang for your buck is lightly used(just gotta find trustworthy people)
I always buy outright or pay off my car before I do any mods, and most my mods I pay for outright every tax season.
Love your vids man
I dont make tons of money since I'm still in highschool, but pay in 4 allows me to spread out my spending across multiple pay checks and still have access to better parts
Do you are have stupid

Cool vid too
Glad to see you still pumping out content after all this time
Quick tip for anyone financing, check out some of your local banks/credit unions that are smaller. Usually you get a WAY better rate!
The grocery tip is very helpful in helping younger people like me understand how credit works, thank you bladed!
I think I’ll become a pharmacist, but time will tell, I really hope they don’t inflate like hell like the original challengers and chargers from the late 60s, but I think the last edition, which is going to have allegedly 900hp and of course I’m going to want it and of course that’s the one that’s going to appreciate the most, like the demon lol, but I’ll be content with a manual hellcat challenger, if there’s still reasonably priced in 10-15 years time
2:02 what a kon driving in the middle lane
thank you. actually thank you. just what i needed to hear
LESSSS GOO NEW VID
Going FBO on my 2015 BMW 335i (Downpipe, intercooler, charge pipe, intake, JB4), and i got it all used for around 800 on facebook marketplace. All parts lightly used and they work just fine. New it would be like 2 grand for those parts.
Yo bladed I have been really enjoying your videos. You seem cool and our views on things are pretty similar. You have really helped me get through my journey at meets etc
One good way to express the student loans realty to someone who has a hard time seeing any other option than College
Is to explain that you really can’t get a job that can pay back your student loan effectively
Without a job that requires a degree
Thats why you are supposed to have good credit and use affirm to buy tire and shocks etc. at a 0% apr. Anyone buying stuff at 15% is crazy and I don't use affirm unless I can do 0% and qualify for a few thousands.
2:43 that car trying to be a Viper what was that before all those "mods"?
Just waste your time waiting so that you might be able to get what would be useful to you or make you happy. Yea because we all have as much time as we want and need in life. I agree with your point on financing a car and not being fucked by the bank, but If I have 2k in the bank and my cart of car parts is 4k and I can make 4 payments on it while I earn the money for them I’m gonna get the parts now so I can have and use the as much as possible. I’d rather die broke and happy in having acquired and used the things I want in life than to die rich having not spent anything on what would have brought joy to me.
I just recently bought a set of Used Honda OEM wheels
Specially the 5 star wheels from the 2016 Accord. They came with Yokohama Tires too, they were like $300 for all 4
These wheels are like $300 each normally, for just the wheels: not even the tires too
I got them through Marketplace
I did the same way to build credit by buying my groceries and gas monthly. It took me like 2 years of build up credit for me buy my new car with a good apr rate.
What about credit history? Does using the credit card at all build history or is it something specific?
@@gavinhicks7621 yea it does I was lucky that I was accepted of their first buyer program but using the credit card for small thing does help to show proof of credit history.
@@chuylisten4115 ok thank you. I’m 17 and still trying to learn everything I can about it because most people I know aren’t much help.😂
My problem is every time I ask my wife "hey can I get (insert mod here) for the car," the answer is usually yes....
this guy becoming my life coach
My bank said the lowest APR for my motorcycle loan was 22%. And the lowest I got from the dealers bank was 19%. Even with the 60-70% I put down. Granted I was only 20 at the time with absolutely zero credit. I had a pretty low payment. Probably not the smartest thing to do to build credit but🤣oh well, got me from nothing to mid 600s
P.S. Recession boutta fuck up Scat pack bois lives lmao
P.S.S. This “recession” you speak of identifies as an economic boom. The administration literally changed the definition of recession so we gud
This was the best you could do. Not to be locked on 'APR', but the bike. If you were able to pay the payments without fault , obviously overpaying - nothing to do, that's the life. Not everyone was born with JPMorgan credit card.
@@m1a1abrams3 I forgot about that ☠️🤣
I definitely gotta look into how credit works. Sadly one of those things really noone teaches you (if your parents dont), so I'll have to get into it.
3:36 maybe it's the angle but ngl i kinda like the look of the fake mods better 😅
not my 13 year old self acting like i have a car and shi but no really i think it’s sad that i’m more informed on this car adults, im not einstein but now i know not to do dumb stuff thx bladed angel youhelped a lot
Thank you, I'll keep this in mind.
Chad Bladed Angel saved me from getting a car loan Imma save up now!
I buy used camera gear from repubale sources and my peers never think of that but when they do they agree its a good idea.
Just about all the parts I've bought for my mustang have been used. Luckily I'm good with sanding and painting so never know once I get em on car.
I bought my taillights new and paid more for them then I did a borla catback used
A $100,000 student loan? The hell, man. I tanked myself with a 10K student loan.
[sigh] "I'm too old for this shit, Riggs."
4:21 is that noodle?? great chanel btw
Dude dropping truth bombs
Nice rc car in the thumbnail 😂
