True Hellcat420, it looks bad on SUVs and cars without much sharp lines. In that case it just looks trashy and as if you're trying to pull off fake carbon fiber look.

Hey bladed, your argument over too big exhausts has actually only to do with exhaust scavenging. Faster flowing gases form a little vacuum behind the which helps getting the next bit of gas from the next cylinder out with less power needed from the engine. That maybe works until you are at the header or the midpipe, but the exhaust tip is not a problem. You could have a 20 inch exhaust tip and it wouldn‘t matter. Also, if one installs a catback instead of straight piping their car, the effects of scavenging basically stop there. So after that it should be more freeflowing imo.
It will matter because the longer the tubing the more restriction there is unless you go to a 5 inch tip where it would replicate the outside environment. Too much flow allows for more hp. A little bit less flow allows for more low end to mid range torque production. Scavenging happens way past the header. It goes all the way out the tip. Go breathe under water with a 10ft snorkel. It gets harder the longer everything is. Scavenging also happens when a midpipe is present such as a v config engine. Scavenging is different on every system hence why there are so many out there.
Sak 20012019 I think that argument works for straight pipes but not if you have cats or mufflers, which are more restrictive than the rest of the system. That would be like a snorkel with a 10cm diameter, the cat is the restriction with only 5cm diameter and after that it‘s up to 10cm again but that does not matter anymore.

I've always loved your videos and aggressiveness. But what you said about exhaust is just you talking about things you dont know around. Sure I dont expect you to go very detailed about it, what you said is true, but it's called scavenging AND it only works on NA cars and partially on supercharged cars. It doesnt work on turbocharged cars. Turbo engines wants the least pressure close to zero if you will after the turbine. Which is also the reason why most turbo track/drag cars just have the exhaust vent straight from the turbine. It literally uses the bigger is better concept. So in other words sure it's annoying for the legacy owner to have 5 inch exhaust, but no, it doesnt hurt the performance. Not even a little bit.
I'm with ya on the matte black and dark grey is nice. I also like satin, especially with purple. But exposed carbon is just plain beautiful on super cars. You can never go wrong with some carbon fiber in there.
