@@boahkeinbockmehr hi! yes the safest way is to eat vegetarian dishes and we also can eat all kind of seafoods regardless how it was prepared. (chicken and beef have specific way of preparation). I will also try to search info about halal restaurants before going abroad, in big cities usually there's at least one restaurant selling halal foods, including chicken and beef :)
There are exceptions if we MUST eat for survival. Indeed we could even eat pork then. However no true Muslim would do this lightly. It is not hard to find halal food almost anywhere. Vegetarian food is obviously OK and sea-food also so long as it is not prepared with other meat which it shouldn't be by health regulations anyway. then there are Indian restaurants, almost always reliable. Many of them are owned by Muslims actually, Pakistanis usually call their restaurants Indian for obvious reasons. Think about it, if they serve meat, since when do Hindus eat meat? When Indians and most Asians buy meat, they buy from Halal butchers because neither Hindus nor Buddhists have a culture of killing animals in the first place. There's an Arabic word for "Halal" by the way and Muslims know to look for it, whilst few non-Muslims know what it is. not that all halal places display it but it is so common most cities, towns and villages in the world once you are used to it.
By the way, India has more non-halal meat than most Asian countries because they also have a sizable Sikh population and they not only have always eaten meat, they even eat pork. However unless they are Sikh, most Indian expatriates will still tend to buy their meat from halal butchers from experience.

You are an instrument to showcase the world how beautiful Davao is. Contrary to what most people in the west, Davao is safe and lively with the most hospitable and friendly people you will meet. Super proud of my hometown. And thank you for visiting! *Much love!*
Besides showcasing the delicious looking foods, it was great to see some Filipino Muslim communities represented here. Outside of the Philippines, we get zero exposure to anything about these people except bad press on clashes with the government and about terrorism. The people you met in Davao seem to have the same extremely friendly, good-humored manner that I've experienced with a lot of Filipinos no matter what religion.
I can tell you as a Mindanawon (from Mindanao) that I was shocked and disgusted by the stench, chaos, dishonesty the first time I set foot in Manila and Cebu.

Rudi Setiawan always remember, Philippines consist of three major islands which are Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao not only Manila :). You are welcome here in Mindanao. :)
Rudi Setiawan it's also full of Muslim extremists that hate Christians
@@jaym-bu3cr common misconception
Visit mindanao if you want a lot of halal foods. Especially here in Zamboanga peninsula. We, muslims, are accomodating here. So different from misconceptions of other non-muslims from other part of Philippines.
Filipino Muslims didn't let themselves be slaves to the Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese but we still managed to cope with the environmental changes that are happening.
Just found this Nov 2019..Tq sir for review halal foods from phillipine..Salam from Malaysia..
I commented to another food blogger to have Pinoy Halal food, and you are here. Thank you!
our muslim brother's have plenty of delicious foods here in the philippines compare to other countries.
marc gacayan you don't have to compare
No need to compare dude. Every countries has it's specialities. I'm from Indonesia and I love indonesian foods alot. Another muslim country that I think have one of the best foods is Turkey. I've never eaten filipino's food but these food look delucious as well
I guess thats should be Philippine real identity if wasn't because of Spain.
🇮🇩 have completest halal food
*sigh*
I'm so happy you tried and reviewed pastil! One of the best Halal food of Mindanao🥰 it's a very simple affordable dish, savoury, a little sweet with a kick of ginger, it's a very hearty food. students usually have it for lunch or dinner cos it's a complete meal, very delicious, and so affordable.
Love the Halal content guys! This video means Davao is my next holiday destination! This kind of content from a channel like yours is very much appreciated. Peace ✌
Thank you for showing halal foods in davao we are planing to go there and now i know there is a lot of halal food there . 😊👍
davao city where he is now is safe cuz it's the hometown of the current president, it's clean & peaceful over there ... he was a mayor there for a long time & the current mayor there now is his daughter & the deputy/vice mayor is his son ... if you go to northern mindanao, cities like cagayan de oro, butuan city or surigao city, you are the safe, just don't go to the other side ....... anyway, just watch the vlogs of kyle of becoming filipino,a canadian who's based in cagayan de oro city & ask for more info about mindanao ... peace !!!!!!!!!!!
Please be reassured that Davao is a fairly safe place to visit.
Even in Manila, there are a lot of areas that cater to halal-seeking patrons.
Each and every Muslim man/woman is my family member. I never think they are apart from me. One Ummah one body and soul. What a blessing! Greetings from Dhaka Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️🇵🇭

you filmed not far from where i lived!!! how come i never saw you?! anyway thanks a lot for featuring the hidden gems of Mindanao, Sonny! You're the best! ♥
Love what you're doing Sunny. Thank you for featuring Davao City. I hope you tour around all the best places in the Philippines.
Wow the woman with the secret sauce was amazing, she seemed so lovely, and the last woman was so polite and respectful. It is nice seeing the food on your show, but sometimes even nicer to see some of the people you show.
I am from luzon and I have so much respect for the people of ?Mindanao. They are well educated and very humble people. These people deserve federalism. They have been oppress for ages. Its time to give them autonomy and decide what is best for themselves.
happymoments yes autonomy for each region, including luzon and visayas
DONT TALK ABOUT POLITICS IN HERE, ITS RUINING MY APPETITE
why not? this the internet! freedom of speech.
@@user-bc6cy1jw2x who cares if appetite has been ruined. Starve to death 😁
Shove your federalism in you as$ along with the blind sheeps
Thank you for showing this part of Philippine culture. I feel like we do not appreciate Mindanao's beauty enough. I'm looking forward to your future videos!
You are an instrument to showcase the world how beautiful Davao is. Contrary to what most people in the west, Davao is safe and lively with the most hospitable and friendly people you will meet. Super proud of my hometown. And thank you for visiting! *Much love!*
brought to you by Mountain Dew.😂😂😂
The Bachelor MGTOW It IS good.
Baby anong ginagawa mo dito? Uwi kana please
i love how much you explore Davao Region...man what you have eaten were just perfect combo, grilled tuna jaw and "hanging"rice 👌wow,im salivating 😱
This guy, Sonny is one of us now. If anyone goes against him, billions of us asians will have his back. We got you. ❤🇵🇭
Besides showcasing the delicious looking foods, it was great to see some Filipino Muslim communities represented here. Outside of the Philippines, we get zero exposure to anything about these people except bad press on clashes with the government and about terrorism. The people you met in Davao seem to have the same extremely friendly, good-humored manner that I've experienced with a lot of Filipinos no matter what religion.
beautiful culture and much cleaner than manila these are good and kind people god blessvall of you and the Philippines.mabuhay.
I can tell you as a Mindanawon (from Mindanao) that I was shocked and disgusted by the stench, chaos, dishonesty the first time I set foot in Manila and Cebu.
Finally! Lots of videos out there touching Filipino cuisine but doesnt always involve dishes from that area.
filipino halal food is the rare best food u can find 💪💪💕💕
Oh InshaAllah one day I will be there. How beautiful and the Muslims, MashaAllah You can see the love in their food. MashaAllah YES! Halal food is for everyone!! MashaAllah Allah (swt) made it that way, no exclusions no fake in Islam, only goodness. Alhamdullilah
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩♥️

TIN HAT..
The lady is really good, the way she red BISMILLAH before she starts eating.. superb..
Keep it up.
Moslems and Christians can live together in peace. It only takes respect and support from the government that can result to this harmony and unity. No wonder Davao is progressive because the mayor itself(acknowledging Duterte)there, is promoting its people and their culture to a higher level. Long live Davao City from Zamboanga City :)

I feel like I've watched all your videos but everyday it just keeps on coming. I never regret using my youtube allocations watching your show. It's a full package of entertainment and foodgasm.
Me watching this during Corona virus pandemic & wondering when I will get to travel again !!
Halal foods are the best!❤️ no weird meats no insects everything is just perfectly clean and safe to eat👌🏼
It is rude to call other people's food weird. Respect it
Indeed
some people live in villages where the only available food is weird insects and rats, and those sorts of things. it's hard to judge them
Masyaallah barakallah fiikum, love Muslim Filipino from Indonesia, 🇮🇩
I'm Filipino Catholic but in behalf of Muslim Filipino we love Indonesia too🇵🇭🇮🇩

Thank u for the halal review!!!!!! Deffo gonna go to these places InshaAllah!!!
1:55 finally, we see one of the crew that makes this vids possible :D
NadlieHime 1814 haha! I was curious for so long
what halal means :
1. prepared by a muslim
2. the animal is killed in a way that it doesn't have to suffer too much so they do it very quick 1 chop then boom.
3. no pork
4. no real bearing in terms of flavor, its the same as the christians cook but minus the pork and the way the food is prepared that's it.
We prayer before the slaughter the animal and while we are preparing it
Everyone forgot halal also means no 'alcohol'
@cheetha123456 man, I saw ur comment everywhere.. I think u just drop ur bacon back in the trash where u left ur brain behind
@@anafarhana5922 he replaced his brain with bacon lol 🙃
@cheetha123456 if you are Christian
Pork is also Haram (prohibited) for you like islam .
This is so beautiful, mashallah. The people are so friendly. I am gonna visit this inshallah. This is so great to see Hallal restaurants in the Philippines.
Beautiful place very clean and big country very friendly place beautiful foods love this kind of foods spices and not spicy very good healthy foods thank you for sharing your beautiful healthy foods
halal food is way healthier than your typical filipino fiesta food such as lechon!..we need more halal foods in our diet, especially here in luzon :-)
Kevin 080592 lechon is fine to eat no different from anything else. Food is food.
For me, Seventh Day Adventists diet is healthier. They dont eat shellfish, pork, sea foods w/o gills (octopuses, sea urchins, shrimps, etc) and animals with more than 4 legs and insects. 🙂
+Packo_ Hubu galawgawa nimu kol oi
Nah fam, I have the healthiest diet, nothing but water and air, occasionally rocks.
