    • @liauly
      @liauly 6 лет назад +23

      @@boahkeinbockmehr hi! yes the safest way is to eat vegetarian dishes and we also can eat all kind of seafoods regardless how it was prepared. (chicken and beef have specific way of preparation). I will also try to search info about halal restaurants before going abroad, in big cities usually there's at least one restaurant selling halal foods, including chicken and beef :)

    • @GrassPossum
      @GrassPossum 6 лет назад +14

      There are exceptions if we MUST eat for survival. Indeed we could even eat pork then. However no true Muslim would do this lightly. It is not hard to find halal food almost anywhere. Vegetarian food is obviously OK and sea-food also so long as it is not prepared with other meat which it shouldn't be by health regulations anyway. then there are Indian restaurants, almost always reliable. Many of them are owned by Muslims actually, Pakistanis usually call their restaurants Indian for obvious reasons. Think about it, if they serve meat, since when do Hindus eat meat? When Indians and most Asians buy meat, they buy from Halal butchers because neither Hindus nor Buddhists have a culture of killing animals in the first place. There's an Arabic word for "Halal" by the way and Muslims know to look for it, whilst few non-Muslims know what it is. not that all halal places display it but it is so common most cities, towns and villages in the world once you are used to it.

    • @GrassPossum
      @GrassPossum 6 лет назад +4

      By the way, India has more non-halal meat than most Asian countries because they also have a sizable Sikh population and they not only have always eaten meat, they even eat pork. However unless they are Sikh, most Indian expatriates will still tend to buy their meat from halal butchers from experience.

      I'm not sure you are a Christian. Your name is abdulabad in arabic means "slave forever" while kumbati is local word for 'fight' like islamic jihad. So, your full name "slave to jihad forever' until you die and get 72 virgins in erotic paradise of jannah. Well another fault is halal. It does not mean taste, it's just a islamic way of slaughtering animals. So halal and no-halal are the same if all ingredients are the same.

    Kudos and major thanks for featuring halal food on your channel! It helps to normalize halal food as a concept and idea to be enjoyed, as it currently suffers from an unfair stigma in the West. Also, as a Tausug, this warms my heart to see my people’s culinary contributions given a platform on your video. It’s hard trying to stand out in the crowded market of delicious Asian fare (most of it is so good!) so your video gives Tausug cuisine a major boost.

    Sonny, for whatever reason , maybe it’s because your community is always amazing and open and friendly, or maybe it’s because I want you to succeed and keep doing what you’re doing
    But I comment and interact with your videos way more than anyone on RUclips.
    And a lot of your viewers seem to be the same. I always see conversations and multiple comments from the same people. It’s cool to see a random (greatly hosted and produced) food show with such an interactive community and a host so easy to identify with.
    One who clearly has a love for people and learning their stories
    Keep doing what you’re doing !
    We all appreciate you very much man .
